Whatever you decide to do you need to realise that there is no escaping pain, hard work and a lot of very repetitive and boring manual labour. How do you think all great businesses were created? In a jacuzzi on the top of Manhattan's tallest building? ...err, nope in a shitty garage or cellar somewhere by coding for hours and hours, meeting people who laugh at you and give you the middle finger, being kicked into the butt by every investor and being mocked by friends, ridiculed by everybody around. If you really want to master the Computer Science, you may need to get the education. I don't know anything about this subject but from the experience of following my LP, you don't always have to go down the 5 year university path, these days there are 2-3 shorter courses that include things like weekend lectures or flexible attendance. They still include a lot of academical crap but not as heavy. Do your research and see what the options are. Or you can become a self learner. You are young and probably have some free time to spare. Surround yourself with books and devote your life to this thing. Read hundreds of books from different authors Visualise every day for 10 minutes and try to see your future self. What is he doing? How did he do it? What were the obstacles? ... Most of all don't become overly keen to find an immediate solution. Let it sit for a while and perhaps at some point you will get a new idea or a tip from someone. Carry a notebook and pen because your mind may come with a brilliant idea when you stand on the bus and if you forget about it, it may never come back.

@PhilGR your body will produce amino acids by breaking down the ingested proteins from plants and animals in stomach and small intestines. There are 9 that we cannot produce (essential amino acids) but those are easy to get from the food we eat although you want to keep Methionine as low as possible. If your goal is to build muscle, just look up some higher sources of protein in foods like nuts, seeds, beans or animal sources if you prefer. I'd keep the protein powders as a last resort. Generally your body will do everything within its power to avoid using amino acids for energy so they will only come after you've burned through your blood sugar, glycogen, and fat stores. So it makes more sense to up on natural sources of carbohydrates and fill your glycogen stores...for optimal performance that would be fruits. As a swimmer, doing something like banana/berry smoothie with some fats from flaxseeds or nuts to slow down the digestion might work nicely for you. Fruits also contain naturally occurring enzymes to help with your digestion as do most fresh vegetables. Unless your pancreatic function is compromised, you wanna stay away from supplementing digestive enzymes./

@PhilGR not a fan of mineral supplements at all but that is just one person's opinion, not a scientific fact. Make your research around this topic. If you think your diet is insufficient in any, create a profile on cronometer.com and track your meals for couple days. The chart will show you what you are lacking beautifuly and it allows you to adjust individual numbers. I'd do this before taking in something in a caps. Do you have any symptoms that could be attributed to lack of minerals?

Yes, it is possible that your kidneys will genetically be weakened and more prone to calculi formation perhaps due to renal pelvis being thinner just generally compromised nephron function. Few tips that may perhaps help you. Not an expert here so take this information with a healthy dose of scepticism: * You may want to stay away from high protein diets and concentrated protein supplements. These trigger urea formation and can be a cause of renal stones as well as gout flare-ups. * make sure you are always well hydrated to ensure a steady flow of fluids and no sedimentation * stay away from calcium supplements and preferably get your calcium from plant sources. * look into high-oxalate foods as these seem to contribute to oxalate stones and maybe don't overeat on them * consume a lot of fruits as these promote renal filtration

Consider reading the Spiral Dynamics book. Lots of information in there to help you categorise yourself.

There are herbal supplements that could work great on the brain such as Gingko, Gotu Kola, Hawthorn Berry, Rhodiola Root or White Oak Bark. All these promote circulation especially the upper circulation. Can be taken as tinctures or capsules but make sure to check reviews before buying caps. For improved overall endurance and muscular performance stuff like maca or matcha. Also beet juice has been shown to improve effectiveness of cardiac muscle when taken before endurance training so perhaps try blending couple beets in a pre workout smoothie along with bananas, berries etc..this is the true pre-workout not the crap in supplement stores. The ideal place to get your trace minerals from is food because supplementing on single minerals may create a state of hyperdosing and cause you a lot of trouble especially with things like calcium that will stone you up like a tree bark.

I have been in similar situation for past years. I stopped socialising much because I got sick with the type of socialisation I was doing which was basically drinking, talking about complete shit, wasting time and eating junk food. There is definitely beauty in solitude especially for an introvert but I am finding that my social skills have suffered greatly as well. There are so many social meeting groups and pretty much any topic you are interested in, there are talks being held or meetups being organised. It is a sort of push-strategy but many people go there with the same feeling. And if you hate it, you leave. ...at least this is how I've been pushing myself to socialise lately.... that and by joining Toastmasters some time ago. That, I would also recommend to you to consider for boosting your social skills in extremely friendly environment.

Great response, this is it ! Same that's happening to Vegetable Police. An undiagnosed ongoing gut issue like SIBO or leaky gut causing direct igE reaction to the eaten food. Nothing changes unless these people address the underlying issue..gojiman made a great video about this topic.

Well unless you want to be a hermit in a cave somewhere in the mountains (and hoping nobody finds out) you'll need to figure out a way to pay your bills. Do your interests extend beyond your own being and comfort? Is there any drive within you to help other people or animals or the planet? If not, your only option may be to go somewhere where you can trade of work for solitude and meditation time , a temple of some sort in South-East Asia or China and take a vow of silence?

Yes but make sure both of you do it at the same time.

While it is natural for us to have desires and urges that often lead us to do things we later regret, perhaps you should split up with this girl. Since it seems you have no problem finding a one night stand maybe do that for some time until you feel like you've had enough of "adventure" and are ready to get into a serious relationship. If your girlfriend is as sensitive as you say, it is only a matter of time before she finds out. Cheating is like doing gymnastics on a thin ice, eventually, you will fall through....If you need to bang other girls, by all means, do that but don't get committed to someone who will get traumatised and will likely blame themselves down the road as "not being good enough". If you consider yourself a conscious and open person, you will break up with her to spare her all the pain if she finds out.

put 250 grams of dates (pitted) in 200ml of water -> bring to boil and let them simmer for an hour. Blend the whole thing (with water) and you have a nice date jam. Keep it in a glass jar in your fridge and when needed get a spoonful or two for a quick hit of energy . Lasts around 5 days.

@Feel Good The whole fitness supplement market is just so unregulated and driven by profit / cost reduction that I don't know if I truly trust any products anymore. I used to be all for Vega until that heavy metal report came in and they along with Garden of Life ended at the tail... The one that still has good reputation (coming from my biased vegan agenda) is Vivo Life. These have (not yet) been proven to be contaminated and the brand is represented by a lot of very conscious promoters of plant based lifestyle. The downside of Vivo is that it is quite expensive as it gets very popular. Ideally get yourself of all these powders and pills and get all that from your food. Whether you are a lifter striving for maximal gains or long duration athlete, you can get all you need from wholefoods. You can thrive on 0.8g - 1g of protein per kg of bodyweight which is super easy to get on a plate

@CuteCornDog what happened to the dog's picture?

Not sure if you only want Leo's answer but the thing with whey is that is is a waste product of dairy industry that used to be dumped before they started to feed it to bodybuilders. Whey has a high content of amino acid Leucine which drives an activation of substance called mTORC1 which causes development of acne. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3408989/ Whey is extremely high concentrated source of animal protein (same as most protein powders) which is toxic to your kidneys and at the same time drives the activation of body's buffering systems to balance the acidity of Whey. Most whey powders are not well regulated and so are highly contaminated by heavy metals ( again, same for many vegan protein powders.)

Look into Eben Pagan's work for some business education. Also you may want to consider starting a youtube channel simple to put yourself out there.

Thank you all guys, some amazing suggestions from all of you !! I have been putting some serious work into this lately.

While I am frequently aware of my judgements towards self and other, I can't seem to be able to drop them. The system thinking realisation has helped a lot but there is still so much of it left. What are some techniques, tips you have used in your life to either stop judging or letting go of it completely?

this might be some serious shit, will give it a try, thanks !

Weighing oneself can be quite deceiving because the physical weight does not equal health just as losing weight does not equal becoming healthier. Often it can cause person to become neurotic and angry when they see the reduction stopping or being reversed after which they will think that they are becoming fat. In reality our body can hold on to water for many reasons and that could be mistaken for excess weight. I know I proably did not answer your question but for the optimal testing of whether your diet / workouts are working consider either doing body fat testing or physically measuring your arms, tights, buttocks, waist and chest with a meter every 3 months or so all the best !

What is the headache like? is it dull and constant or more pulsating (faster the heartbeat the more rapid the pulsation? Where is it coming from? (back of the head , top, neck...) Do you have a history of migraines, cluster headaches or anything like that? Do you often have stiff neck? Do you get it at any other times besides workout?
-
I will put more effort into doing this, thanks ! I do this often but I feel like I am just judging again more often than not.

there are some exercises you can do that involve jaw stretching, neck stretching and focus on muscles of upper neck. Look them up on google. Not sure if that will do anything though haven't tried myself. Generally, fat areas cannot be targeted, it always comes down to body's preference where the stores are depleted first. Depending on your current bodyfat %, you may need to go lower to shed that...or make peace with it.

Fascinating !.... perhaps you are one of those naturally gifted who can just do whatever without consequences. Also genetically people in some regions such as Eastern Europe and Caucasian regions are quite tolerant to dairy since they have been drinking it for thousands of years. Your body needs the minimum of 500ml of water to be able to perform very basic functions. This would be surviving not thriving. 2l would be much closer to the optimum. That being said milk is still mostly water so unless you feel dizzy, nauseous or have a problem with skin and mucosal drying in eyes, tongue, throat etc...you are probably hydrated enough. If it was me drinking that much milk, I would spewing mucous out of every opening in the body and sneezing like crazy being allergic to every single allergen possible but seems for you it works. Just out of curiosity, where did you grow up?
