  1. Spiral dynamics can be a devil's tool when abused but so can enlightenment, knowledge, education, philosophy. You can take any teaching and use it as a weapon to steal from masses, to manipulate them, ask them to kill each other in the name of the man-on-the-cloud. It is definitelly useful tool to slowly incarcerate your ego and should you desire so, eventually release it completely.

  4. @now is forever good observation, although Joseph didn't say supplement with calcium, he said "make sure you get it". Definitelly have to agree not to supplement, one of my thesis at school was on Calcium and going through all the research I was mesmerised to see that people have increased risc for heart attacks, strokes, haemorrhaging, renal stones and arthritis...this is a dangerous stuff and doctors keep recommending calcium for osteoporosis...hoping benefits outweigh those couple stroke incidents.
  5. Sometimes it helps to take a step back. Take a 1 week break from the course and whatever job you have, go spend 5 days somewhere close to nature ideally alone, things may come to you naturally. Make sure to take notes of different thoughts that come up. Than come back and perhaps you'll have the answer by then. I've noticed in my life that trying to push harder to get certain answers only makes things worse and taking a step back often helps to reconcile.
  6. Definitely take a sabatical from my current job at least for 6-12 months and focus 100% on my life purpose...the 9-5 is getting in the way big time.
  7. There are definitely cases of people with hyperthyroidism who have a very fast metabolism. It is not a digestive pathology but rather a hormonal problem but these people generally have fast digestive movement and often do not absorb so much.
  8. @Joseph Maynor great post, especially on the various food categories. It's probably best that everybody does their own research on supplements as high doses of some long term are not necessarily beneficial but everything else is pretty much a staple of sustainable human diet for optimal thriving.
  9. @pluto perhaps the Aztec forefathers would worship our European beet as a divine plant same as we do for Maca its just the scarcity and not so widespread growth that makes it rare I guess.

  13. I've heard same benefits could be achieved with Celery Juice and Beet Juice and Arginine rich foods due to massive contribution of Nitric Oxide production as a side effect of the protein metabolism in them. All prob better than popular drugs
  14. Cleansing is more of maintenance and even katabolic/breaking down state where gaining muscle is more anabolic / building state. In order to build muscle you need to be in caloric surplus and eat regularly..that would be 3 meals a day at least and couple snacks. + to gain you need to be in positive nitrogen balance meaning protein intake > protein output because building of muscle is one of the lowest priorities for your body and it needs to take care of building basic protein-based elements like hormones, ensymes, blood cells, immune cells etc etc... Building muscle on OMAD will mean stuffing yourself with gigantic amounts of food in one go which is not good for the metabolism imo...but it can definitely be done and people have gained muscle going OMAD. Your body is getting mixed signals if you starve for 23 hours and it may not necessarily support the anabolic state that you want. I think for you the most rational thing would be to start eating regularly and maybe try to track your meal intake in something like cronometer.com. To gain muscle focus on at least 1.5g of protein per kg of bodyweight and most of all you need to hit those muscle hard physically. If you are relatively new to gym and will have sufficient caloric intake and good stress put on body, you will see gains coming in pretty fast the first year. Make sure to figure out the diet before you go in supplementing any powders or capsules. Don't be afraid of carbohydrates but instead of the starchy ones (flour, white potatoes, white rice) get in and complex sources of carbs from wholefoods (sweet potato, wholegrains, beans, legumes, chickpeas) and also fruits and vegetables.   16. @now is forever not what I would have suggested at all. If your adrenals are down you want to consider a herbal adrenal formula. Corticosteroids will mess you up. Eating a lot of raw foods rich in vitamin C and B rebuild adrenals not drugs.
  17. You can be enlightened as much as you want but as long as you live in this carbon-based shell called "the body" you will feel pain and everything that this meaty package comes with. Conscious or not, you can not bypass the pain that the surgery would otherwise cause you which would make it impossible to accurately operate on you. Your physical body (yes I know it does not exist) is still made from neurons and those can easily get numbed down by chemistry.

  19. Have to disagree on that, dreams are definitelly not always peaceful. Sometimes I'm glad to have woken up from that shit Don't think that transcending your ego and fully awakening is the same as the levelof conciousness you are at when sleeping. You still have full control when you are enlightened. And even enlightened people can have wet dreams and nightmares.

  21. @Charlotte do you know your current blood pressure? Perhaps your adrenal glands need support as cortisol is key hormone that puts down chronic inflammation.

  23. Worse than regular coke. Sweeteners trick your body into thinking it is getting a real glucose, your insulin goes up, your blood sugar goes down and you end up hypoglycaemic and hungrier than before --> studies show that people actually gain weight on sweetened sugar-free drinks for this reason. Also they think because they had "diet" coke they can get in extra calories which usually contributes to the weight gain. And finally most sweeteners are neurotoxins so thats not ideal.
