@WonderSeeker I got a few to share, if that is OK with you! This is a great post, good on you for creating it. I will share them later on today...hopefully more people on here can get involved in this thread.

@louhad Interesting question Master Roshi! I honestly think he is sold on them. He is craftier than he presents himself. All I know is that he is the funniest US President to date! -
@Vipassana Not a chance in hell! Good question though, it needed to be asked.

@Ethan1 Great question to bring up! Personally, I see weed as big hindrance towards all of this self-help work. It should be available/legal for people who want it for the many reasons I won't get into here (and are probably already discussed on this forum somewhere). People who I have known who have smoked it are (mostly) very lazy, immature and generally unlikable people, it seems to be their only interest a lot of the time, that is how they spend their day, in this sort of drunken haze. It serves as a way for them to escape reality, which we can all empathize with of course. Some people who smoke it can probably use it responsibly and to help them relax, which is a good use of it, but in my experience the people who use it use it in excess and end up as these couch-slobs, basically

Light Lover replied to The Don's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@The Don Nice post! A lot of where we are now comes to politics of course, and as you said the people within that political system that pioneered all these amazing things we take for granted today, electricity, clean water etc...I wouldn't say the family unit per se is important as much as it was before, but that's just me. The value of freedom is important of course but is subjective and vague, one persons idea of freedom is another's slavery. To maintain this? I don't we are able to lose any of this to be honest, all of these things, the utilities we use and knowledge and technology aren't going anywhere, and is being advanced every day. Of course, I and none of us on here know that for sure, with today's god-awful governments across the globe that have managed to fuck up so many working systems. Not to mention, there are places in my country (UK) that are so underdeveloped that they don't even have the basic infrastructure you mentioned. They live in these tiny, run down houses and don't have access to working electricity, wifi or anything of the like. These are the forgotten parts of society within the '1st World' countries we live in. I do agree however that we all take everything we use daily as a given, I am quite guilty of that as well. -
@Annonymous It's a good question, it's quite close I would say, but women just don't seem to have that constant craving that men do, I can only speak from my experiences, even when I am not thinking of something erotic, it's still there, lurking in the back, it's a driving force in us men it seems. Women enjoy it for sure, but do they have that constant sense of lust that we seem to? Some of them do I am sure It's all down the person. I have an average sex drive, not too strong but still strong, I would say the average women is probably a little less than that.

Happy Birthday Mr Gura!

@PlayTheGame nice! Mine would be call of duty...LOL! No, I would say Elder Scrolls Oblivion, Skryim, Heavy Rain, Mass Effect, Red Dead Redemption (despite it's excess violence) and Dragon Age Inquisition would be some good examples of high consciousness games that are both emotionally and mentally stimulating. Journey of course as well, which you posted, would probably be most appropriate for this forum.

Light Lover replied to Flowerfaeiry's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@Flowerfaeiry I don't think he is against them per-se, it is just that this forum is not the place to discuss them (in his opinion) otherwise this forum could end up discussing literally every subject imaginable. From my personal experience MOST 'conspiracies ' are definitely true or have a hint of truth, but that is just me of course, I don't post anything on here anymore about them as I know I will just be ridiculed or it will be taken down. People like Alex Jones doesn't help of course, with his bizarre ranting and raving...giving them a bad name. -
This is quite an important question for me. Quite simply recently I have started contemplating seriously, before I for whatever reason just didn't seem to be able to do it. I feel in my bones and mind that I am doing this correctly, I simply sit and ask myself deeply 'what is reality, who am I within it'? I seem to enter into a trance, not like meditation, but I feel my ego (literally, I can see it) getting very anxious whenever I do it. I get anxious before I do it and there is a deep sense of discomfort in the 'self' as I do it. After I finish I feel like I have gone deeper and reality is a bit 'clearer' to me. Obviously I have leagues to go before I have a direct experience. It's like I innately know what I am doing, it is so odd. Before I couldn't do it, but now, after reading so much about it, it's like I know exactly what to do automatically, the technique is a part of me? Does this all sound correct to you?

@Nahm Beautifully said, thank you, I needed that at the moment, I have been ignoring this for so long and now is the time to face it. One other question I have to you and everyone else though is that last night I had an incredible sensation across my body, I hope it is normal! Whilst I was contemplating it was like all the electricity in my body went directed into my hands, it was insane, my hands were just in a basic connected position, nothing special, but it was like I could feel the entire body conducting electricity into the hands? Why did this happen? It caught me off guard I must admit... -

@7thLetter All I can personally say is I empathize very deeply with you on this corona virus bullshit that has gripped the world. It has fucked up both of our plans, and not just us, everyone else with the same plans as us, men and women, of all ages, so know you are not alone.

@TrynaBeTurquoise That JP impression though, had me in stitches LOL! Can't say I watched the whole video, people on here focus on JP too much, don't get it.
-
@Pacific Sage Very noice! Thank you for sharing!

@TrynaBeTurquoise Really good poll, I should have thought of this! I chose neutral. Good in terms of wanting to be left alone, properly re-evaluate life, heal myself. Bad in terms of feeling trapped in the house, can't see when this is going to end. It's a unique experience at least, but not without it's issues of course.

Mark my words, Trump will win again, many of you massively underestimate how die-hard his followers are. As for Biden well...I would rather not see the creepiest man alive become President of the US. -

@Vladz0r Someone has been doing their research, fuck me! Well done...have you ever thought of becoming a political commentator lol? Good to hear from someone who lives in the U.S. @Lelouch Lamperouge @Bodigger Interesting insights as well! -
Light Lover replied to Raphael's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@Raphael It's a good question, but in my opinion the reason it is a right is very simple. 2 reasons: 1: if healthcare isn't a right, do we have a right to life at all, to water, to food, to education, to air? 2: Everyone feels like healthcare isn't a right until they themselves have a horrific near death experience or know someone who has, when you are in that moment, which I have had the misfortune of being in, wondering whether you are going to survive through the next 10 mins, you will know why you and everyone else needs free and easily accessible healthcare and emergency services. -
@wk197 listen to @OctagonOctopus that is excellent advice my friend

Light Lover replied to Lelouch Lamperouge's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
This is going to be an extremely interesting election isn't it @Lelouch Lamperouge? I still predict Trump will win with his army of diehard followers. It depends, did he actually live up to his promises? I don't live in the USA so I do not know. If he did the main things he said he would, I feel he (for worse or better) will win again, despite Bernie having a more moral platform. -
@Husseinisdoingfine Thankyou!

A question that has no doubt been asked on here one time or another but has never gotten that much reception. So I ask all of you, what time do you wake up in the morning, and how much sleep do you get at night? Are you able to sleep in the day, or can you only sleep properly in the night such as myself?

Just wanted to say quickly good luck to each and everyone on here in 2020, I am proud of all of you and the development we have made in 2019, let's see if we can make 2020 better!
