Salvijus replied to axiom's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Raptorsin7 haha, no. My goal is to simply grow. How far I don't know. I don't care. Simply growing every day is what life is about for me. If one day i achieve something like that that would be cool. But im just interested in growing nonstop. Every day of growth makes the day fullfiling for me. Making sure every day is a fulfilling day will make a fullfilling life. (My phylosophy:D) -

@Raptorsin7 yes. That's the whole point. That's why people worship them as enlightened beings. That's what full enlightenment looks like. Not eating potato chips releasing tension. Talking nondual phylosophy. -

I know this doesn't prove anything. I just find this fascinating for me personally. I thought i might share Seeker: Sadhguru, how come even some Enlightened beings have physical afflictions? Why don’t they cure themselves? For example, Ramakrishna Paramahamsa had cancer. Sadhguru: Ramakrishna Paramahamsa was not interested in all this physical business. He was in the bliss body; simply blissful. The physical body, he was not bothered, mental body, he was not bothered, pranic body, he was not bothered. When a person is like that, the body may rot. He does not care. When Ramana sat for meditation, he just sat for fourteen years and his whole body was full of sores and insect bites. Animals came and bit him and he just sat because he had nothing to do with the body. If it heals, it heals. If it doesn’t heal, it doesn’t heal. He treats the mind and mental body the same way. If cancer comes, he doesn’t care. He doesn’t even feel he has cancer because he feels it is not in him. Only people on the path of kriya yoga are capable of attending to the body in a scientific way. Others do not pay attention to it. Usually, they are incapable of too much activity. A Ramana or a Ramakrishna would not be able to trek with me to the Himalayas, let alone at my pace. Physically they are very incapable, because they were not bothered about taking care of their bodies. Their growth did not involve building a certain body. So they never attended to those things. They attained through their own intelligence and their own intensity, not following any system. Only people on the path of kriya, the Realized yogis, are physically very fit and their bodies will be properly kept. For them there is no problem. They cross the border and they come back. They smuggle things across (laughs). For them, it’s a daily affair. That’s the difference between a saint and a Guru. Saints somehow cross the border. They are wonderful people. They will bless you and their blessings are good to receive. -

I heard ramana maharshi would sit in complete samadhi for 14years unmoving with worms infesting his legs. Now that's exciting stuff. Not the feat itself. But the level of consciouness needed to do that. -

Tbh, i don't see much wisdom in burning yourself on fire myself and why would anyone do that lol. I only find the theoretical idea of transending pain to such limits very entertaining. For example that story of marathon monks running marathons everyday and then sitting 10days straight in samadhi. Idk why but it turns me on and excites me haha. -
Salvijus replied to axiom's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Fair enough. Not all people on fire are enlightened then ? -

Interesting. I wasn't aware people feel this way. I never sensed anything sinister about it. Quite the opposite, the idea of transcending pain to such unimaginable levels turns me on actually lol. I assosiate it with absolute trancendence and freedom somehow. P.S. that photo is a bit ridiculous, haha. -
Salvijus replied to axiom's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
People really get triggered around this topic for some reason lol. Anyhow, I think it's possible to have that level of trancendence. After all awareness is beyond death and suffering. That implies the worst pain in the universe also. Buddha wasn't joking when he was taching trancendence of suffering imo. -
Purify your mind. Meditation, yoga, chiqong, whatever else you like. Just make sure it's high quality otherwise it won't work.

"Exchange of bodies using herbs" ? ... Yea, it seems there is so much knowledge out there on these things. But for some reason only the very advanced ones have access or knowledge about it. -
Salvijus replied to Leo Gura's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Well it doesn't trigger me at all when a sage says it or rupert spira says it. But when leo says is, it's like pure pain in my system that I have to meditate to rebalance myself. So imagine if he just caused that pain to 1000s of people online. All that pain probably boomeranged back at him by the laws of karma. Im just guessing and perhaps projecting here but i think there was an upheaval of pain in leo when he released that video that's why he removed it. Otherwise he would play his usual card "I only speak the truth, whether you like it or not is not my problem" -
Salvijus replied to Leo Gura's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I personally think there's some kind of flaw in Leo's understanding of solipsm. It's based on truth and there're elements of truth to it. But there's something that smells like fish also. The spreading of that disharmonious smell is what caused a backlash of suffering and pain probably so he had to remove it. (I could be projecting here) When truth is shared, it doesn't smell like fish it smells like pure love and harmony. When rupert spira speaks about solipsm it has a certain truth vibration of harmony to it. When false teachings are shared, escpesially on a large scale, the natural consiquence is that of pain and suffering. (According to buddha) but also it makes sense. -

Lol. What is the big fuss all abou? Even I want to see that video now to see what leo sayed to invoke such reaction. Did the audience go mad or smth? I wonder what happened lol. Lol. ? they should remove some of those points from you if you behave good for a period of time imo. -

Yea, that's a good point. I wish there was a way to measure people's progress properly tho. -

Anybody could say the same thing and get away with it imo. -
Salvijus replied to DManKee's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
It's a pretty common answer given by many spiritual traditions that whenever someone pops into enlightenment for no reason or is just very gifted at spirituality the explanation is usually given that those beings did their share of spiritual development and work in their previous lives. So they are just continuing from where they left off. At least that's what they say. The story of how echkart tolle got his name is really cool tho. -
Salvijus replied to DManKee's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
He was probably an old soul imo. -
I think your social self image that you had created is going through some change now and it will hurt a little bit which is natural. Like having a new haircut and meeting your friends feels awkward for a few days and then things get to normal. I would say just meditate on that feeling of psychological pain and discomfort by putting your awareness on the feeling and holding it. This would resolve much of that conflict imo. Or just wait, your self-image will adjust automatically if you give it enough time and space. In short, just own it.

It should. A horny old man hunting for some flesh and pretending to be charming. It's kinda gross imo.
