  1. What did I learn today? Saturdays I need to decompress, chill, meditate and go outside in order to avoid burnout and so I can take lots of action the other 6 days. There is something very powerful and profound about tidying and cleaning. It has an amazing effect on the mind. My karma yoga is very simple and obvious. Yoga teachers are often viewed as somehow different from normal humans. The human being gets separated from the concept of the 'yoga teacher'. I need to sleep more.
  2. @LSD-Rumi As long as you don't talk shit about the Chinese government or criticize the people and culture you're allowed to share your perspectives and opinions here. Two popular vloggers that did get deported a couple of years ago were starting to openly criticize government decisions, mock Xi and just rant about how much they disliked the changes happening in the society. They were Vlogging here for about a decade before they eventually got kicked out because they started moaning about everything. Daily life in China for the majority of people is actually a lot more 'open' and 'free' than people outisde of China realize. You just can't question or criticize the government.
  3. @Human Mint It's a powdered superfood green juice. Add one scoop with water and enjoy. The people who make this are shamanic wizards sent to this world to elevate humanity out of the dark ages.
  4. I feel like theres no duality between the different sections of the forum. I do have the sections and topics I gravitate towards most but all of them interconnect with one another in terms of perspectives and the impact they will have on your growth. I am also regretting not taking advantage of the forum earlier. As for specific topics, which ever I feel intuitively drawn to start, read of comment on. "Study the principals of life, immersing in such principals allows for genius flashes of insight" A quote from Leo's video on how to be a strategic motherfucker. Using this forum daily over the past few weeks has allowed for genius flashes of insight that didn't just come from one topic, they came from using using the forum as a whole, starting topics, journaling, commenting on others topics and responding to comments. That said, one person's comment can also major a huge effect on me so I am very grateful for even one tiny comment, it's all useful.
  5. Yoga. Qigong.
  6. @BipolarGrowth Yeah I'm definitely focusing more on buidling a like minded community and network this year through yoga, taichi and mindfulness focused groups with both other westerners and local Chinese. It makes a difference. The alternative is drowning your China demons in beer each night which is an unfortunate reality for a lot of westerners living here.
  7. @ValiantSalvatore Thanks for your wishes! Yep, Chinese food is amazing and never seen so many restaurants in one place. I live in Sichuan, Chengdu. If you ever fly back for a visit, holla at me. Sichuan province is gorgeous and Chengdu is dope. It's super chill, Tibet close by, so there's spiritual vibration. Lots of nature, daoist mountains and Buddhist temples. I studied Taichi and qigong for 2 months in the summer down in Guangxi too.
  8. This is great. Sensitivity is your friend if cultivated.
  9. @ValiantSalvatore Thank you for sharing your experience of China. Foreigners who come here whilst they have a great time, all struggle with integration to various degrees. I'm going harder on the language now, it will definitely help me break some of those barriers once I'm proficiently fluent enough. Most of it is in my head and just trying to become aware of the ego, identity, attachment and illusions that I am falling prey too that are specifically manifesting under the context of me living in this country and culture and with the people here. If that makes sense. Struggle to articulate it but I just sensed it was mainly some kind of attachment issue causing me to see reality in a warped perception which was therefore leading me to engage with the country and people in an unresourceful manner that was creating suffering as well just not able to get the most juice of my time here in this amazing country. All happening along with the realities of living and working here day to day which can be challenging to say the least It's also just my own level of overall self development and actualization, the more I mature and evolve, the better my relationships and interactions with the country and people around me.
  10. @catcat69123 Thank you. I am reading a book on buddhism right now, I think it is going to help. It's mostly in my head. 'judging them for judging me', yes. More mindful management and investigation of the emotions of feeling misunderstood and not seen also.
  11. Prayer is powerful! I will do more of it!
  12. @Flowerfaeiry Lots of spiritual growth to be had in relationships and spiritual growth ain't smooth sunshine and rainbows. I'm glad a few of you mentioned the shadow. Good to be aware of this in the context of intimacy.
  13. @Adodd Nice. Happy for you. I meant did the person live upto the qualities you were looking for in a romantic partner. I didn't mean finding fulfillment through the other person.
  14. I wouldn't advise on just stopping meditation just because you have had one enlightenment. Let go of the idea that enlightenment is just this one off thing that happens with a bang and then you have 'completed' it like you're playing fucking grand theft auto and you've reached 100% completion and its onto the next game... nah man.
  15. Don't revolve practice around your life. Revolve your life around practice.
  16. Don't revolve practice around your life. Revolve life around your practice.
  17. @Batman Yeah just eat cheetos and ice cream. Fuck the body. You'll be woke as fuck in no time.
  18. @Vibroverse This is why if you truly want to peruse the path of enlightenment, you must honor the body. The physical, energetic, causal and astral. To raise your vibration is a practice and a life long journey.
  19. Insights from contemplative nature walk Insecurities are illusions fabricated by your self-agenda and self-survival mechanism. Ultimate solution to needing approval and validation is being grounded in your own internal being and having your external life grounded in passion and purpose. With this in place, you simply won't give a fuck about approval and validation, it will have no value to you. You will validated your Self internally. Even if you're consciously contemplating something in nature, 'you' aren't doing anything, nature is still working on you, you are just BEING nature. It just happening. Enjoy it. Walks in nature are healing, insightful, nourishing and fulfilling. Do it often. Nature has the answers!
  20. @Jacobsrw No offence taken, appreciate the input. Besides, I like being snapped out of my delusion into more empowering truths, that's why I am here. This soul mate thing runs deep, even listening to TNL or Leo talk about attraction it's easy to get confused the moment they mention the 'one' or 'dream' partner. I think I'll just drop those words from my vocabulary haha.
  21. @Kalki Avatar Bliss tears and cosmic giggles. What more you want?
