  1. I stumbled upon Eben Pagan's and Wyatt Woodsmall's Program/Course ''Master Map of Success.'' For those who do not know, one of topics is Grave's model of human development (at least to the point of program i am currently in), but there is also some stuff about Ken Wilber model of development. I know there are some Ken Wilber books on your booklist that probably talk about this in detail and on top of that and there are some videos where he talks about various topics but still i would like to hear what you have to say about it. I will do my personal research on it as i gather and ''process'' more material, but as you know it requires time, focus and energy to get most juicy stuff out of any information product. So i would like to hear what you got from it. Thanks P.S I found this image on google when i searched how the visual representation of the model looks like so it would be nice to explain it a bit if you decide to do this video.
  2. @Durka_Durka ?? @NoSelfSelf First you ask yourself what are you going be doing ? You can be your own producer, producer for someone else, mixing engineer, mastering engineer, live engineer. Producing requires music theory and sound design... not using samples and loops. Making your sound from ground up. Mixing engineer requires listening and understanding of audio gear. Mixing engineer is someone who takes others people work and making it shine...and mastering engineer does finishing touch. Producer can start with as little as no budget, you need speakers and pc. Mixing engineer requires studio monitor speakers and acousticly treated room (foam that people use and egg cartoon is not acoustical treatment ). Mastering engineer requires same as mixing but we are talking 20k minimum gear. Thats the bare minimum.. So mostly mixing engineers go into mastering when they got some money and exp. Education is everywhere but you need to find valid sources. Some free some paid. Tools are free or paid, depending how you are resourceful. I dont wanna go offtopic so send me a Pm. Think about this what i have written...i am both producer and mixing engineer. I can point you in directions where to find stuff and give you tips (free of course) but i can also tutor you to save you time. Cheers ?
  3. Hi guys I opened this topic to share some of my opinions and achievements that will serve most of the people here if they are confused about what step should they take in life. This will not be wishy washy bs topic, no law of attractions or anything like that. Now, to share my story : When i went to college, i was completely lost because i was studying rather complicating and unknown subject to me. I studied Audio Engineer..in nutshell, the guy who record you, edit your recordings and make you a pop star or something. The guys who you saw that sit in front of those huge consoles with millions of buttons or maybe you hear in the movies that made those sci fi sounds for new Star Wars movie.... Rather fun and artistic skill but takes years and years to master and really ungrateful to grasp what you are listening to (in other words, what sounds good and how you can achieve that). It is mixture of art and science to its core. Anyway, i was in class with a guy who is from Japan and he was top of the class. The first reason he was the most experienced in the field with 15 years of experience and second how he tackled everything. His first step to assume he does not know anything we learned in class and doing same steps to really build his own knowledge about that matter (knowledge is not pure information, knowledge is change of behavior..just to point out). All others, including me, took with everything we knew in class and we did not take those baby steps because it is darn obvious we ''know''...In the end, we were asking him for help So first point : Always prove something to yourself if you are interested to learn. The person who did that and told you how to do it yourself figured out by doing it. So dont be f***ing lazy (pardon my french) and just do that stupid little step. You can brain masturbate whole day about it... it is most simple thing to do..... it makes no difference if you are thinking about what kind of donuts should i eat.... you are blinded by audio visual phenomena (thoughts) in your head for the real thing. The reasons why we are so bombarded with information so in the end, we take it as real thing thing. Second thing he said and we were drinking coffee in front of the university.. In age of internet education, you can learn mostly everything. You can't achieve certain things but hey, you can achieve more than average person. Learning one more language at basic level of communication can serve you great and it shows dedication. Now..there is catch.. you can learn anything if you really want to and put your ass to work. I kept learning and re learning the stuff i ''knew'' at uni....At uni time, i thought that was 80% of the stuff that i need to know... Later i realized and that was only after 1,2 years of relearning that was 10,20%... it is just a good basis to start with. And that shit i learned from internet education.... if you know how to find proper ones and pay a little money to invest in your self. Now, after 5 years from uni, following the advices of that person, i learned music theory and my own unique way how to learn it, hack it so you can actually use that stuff because you can know all the scales or maybe you can play that new song to impress some girls or w/e.... But when it comes to compose something with specific purpose...that is hard. I have learned on basic level Python programming but i keep grinding on it ; Arduino and electrical engineering (my plan is to build my own synthesizer and to start exploring into smart home systems with Arduino micro controller for automatization of whole home and automatization of home indoor garden) I have prepared my spot and some equipment for garden and now i need to work on code . On top that, i relearning chemistry, physics and math to cement my knowledge of electrical engineering and to design my own circuits. So basically , you dont have excuse if you are 20-30 years old. If you have a kid..i am sorry for you and i think that is unwise decision because you are gonna probably brain wash your kid with your untapped life. Sooner or later, it will kick in and you are not going to be aware of it. I am not here to judge you because i dont know anything about your life but i have seen enough patterns in those persons to know. My point is here that education is nearly free..You dont need that courses that promise jobs and exploit you on your very very very basic level and cost 20,30 x more than some introductory course that you can get a taste for what that skill is all about and then decide what to build on (and you can get return). Use this as you please... maybe it will provoke you in learning something new and useful (and that is my goal). Dont post ''i cant do it because this and that''' ''this is not possible for me'' because this is whining wall and i could not care less. I had cancer 4 times and i dont whine and i will not whine if i get new one (i am 25 btw). Most of you in age 20-30 have a lot lot lot more time than someone who is grown up and have family. Use it wisely. Cheers
  4. What exactly ?
  5. Yes.. sound/audio engineering is great field that covers many stuff. It is a science about sound and all its applications. Even playing synthesizers (not keyboards and other ''simple'' stuff, synthesizer builds sound from its core) uses a lot audio engineering. Like 95% ...rest it is music and art factor to it. Pick one thing that you kinda know that maybe you are good at. Dedicate 6 months of doing that and you will see if it for you. If you continue, you need 2 years in my experience to grasp what exactly are you doing and then master on that. And then let that grow into other fields BUT dedicate your time 70-30 % ratio (30% are other stuff ) or maybe, if dont need to do your main stuff too much, dedicate couple days off ... also helps a bit for clearing your head. I was interested in electronics because i use them in audio engineering. You are manipulating electrical signals with equipment to get certain results with sound. That signal than moves your magnet in speaker and if you have accurate speaker and converter, you can make better judgment. Then engineering led to programming, programming led to Arduino that combines both and then it will lead to soldering and making my own stuff, both sound and smart home/gardening equipment. Also , acoustics which i learned about at uni and on internet helped me to build my studio at its basics.... That i used to design my home threate... All that felt natural to me...certain drive in me wanted to know to its core how certain stuff works. And it does not consume a lot of time when you know how to do it. You just gonna keep doing it for couple years and everything becomes easier.... Learning other stuff becomes easier because now you know most important skill .... You know how to learn stuff. And path is important not the goal....goal will come one day and you get bored with it. It is natural so you learn in time, stuff just happen and you need to flow with it. I always take a look back 4,5 years ago what i knew then and i want know now and how i was thinking about that time and realised... stuff will always come very slowly but it comes. Took my 2 years to hack music thoery because i know there is the way. I knew for the fact that composers dont compose out of blue. They know stuff. Second example Is that i wanted to know how certain sound is being synthesized from my fav. tracks. I just kept visualizing it in head and did not even touch synthesizer. My buddy was talking about it and said something how he thinks that sound is created (which was utterly wrong) and i said : nah, it is like that , i constructed 95% same sound in 10 secs. So just think about one thing and do it. Even 20 mins a day doing that is worth for the time period of 1 year. We are all lazy but we can also be productive and falling asleep and feeling that we did something useful today.
  6. Where i can find the Transcript of 'newish'' videos ? I need one for Model of Human Knowledge. Thanks
  7. @Leo GuraBook is not 100 dollars...it is 800 https://www.amazon.com/Lectures-Oxherding-Pictures-Yamada-Mumon/dp/0824828933/ref=as_li_ss_tl?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1495167575&sr=1-1&keywords=lectures+on+the+ten+oxherding+pictures&linkCode=sl1&tag=actualizedorg-20&linkId=5c641875aae7605b0707f05af09b7968 We can all agree that is no sense to pay for it at this price.
  8. @Annetta @Annetta Tried them all except for 2k copies. None ships...
  9. @Annetta The another problem is that i can not even order 62 dollar one... They do not ship outside of US
  10. Still, i would prefer ebook instead of this.... cheaper and more economic in many ways. @abrakamowse not the same book
  11. Does anyone know good books about vaccines ? I would like to research on this topic because there is ton of research about it going on but it is hard to find good material in whole that mess. Thanls
  12. (btw i am not promoting this guy's channel so if someone decides to remove this post, please do...this just popped up in my youtube feed)
  13. @Lamp I do not get your question but i understood right, you are asking how much is worth bothering starting over using Holosync properly ? To simply answer your question, just start over and do it because i do not see the reason why you even use Holosync then in first place. The creator Bill Harris stressed out on the instructions and how Holosync must be used, so if you want to use it your own way, go ahead, but you will not get proper results because you will not form neural pathways that you need. The reason why you need to start over is simply because if you do not use Awakening prologue first, your brain will not form proper neural connections for next levels. Each level removes layers and layers of emotional garbage and it needs to be done correctly... if not, you will not get the proper healing that Holosync promises. You already posted topic about Holosync and i explained how to use it properly there.
  14. @Leo Gura When i meant pickup, i meant including those aspects since you already had a rant against all PUA culture. @Martin123 I did but that itself does not mean some topics can not be covered in correct manner.
  15. @Lamp You are doing it wrong. First you need to start with Awakening Prologue that contains its own Dive and Immersion tracks. You start with Dive from Awakening Prologue and listen it for 14 days. After 14 days, you add Immersion after Dive and you keep doing that for 4 months. Only after that may start with Holosync - Awakening Level 1. Here you have similar rule. You start with Dive for 14 days but this Dive is from Awakening Level 1 ( so do not confuse it with Awakening Prologue) and after that you add Immersion 2.0 and you keep doing that for 6-8 weeks. After you completed that, you continue with Dive + Immersion 1.5 for next 6-8 weeks, and so on. So you basically do this : 1.Awakening Prologue Dive - 14 days Dive + Immersion - 4 months 2. Awakening Level 1 Dive - 14 days Dive + Immersion 2.0 for 6-8 weeks Dive + Immersion 1.5 for 6,8 weeks Dive + Immersion 0.5 for 6,8 weeks Dive + Immersion 0.3 for 6,8 weeks 3.Awakening Level 2 Repeat same process as level 1 P.S After 4 weeks of listening of Dive + Immersion, you can listen Immersion more than once. Follow this and you are good to go. Any other way will not work.
  16. @Leo Gura Do you plan on releasing some videos on pickup/approaching etc ? It would be interesting to hear different point of view on this subject
  17. @-nbolt- If you need a sound designer or music composer, i am your guy. I can do lots of audio related stuff. If you need classic piano or abstract sounds of space, lasers etc, i can do it. Only thing i do not know is how to code but i could start learning some basics... i have lots of free time. I even planned to learn electronics and coding so i can build my own live setup performance controllers( and much more) for music such as complex MIDI routing for lights and sound etc.
  18. @Hengame @Goliath Get a Internet Visa Debit card and vire it to your paypal. Assuming you have a bank account, that will not be a problem. If not, any debit card will do fine.
  19. I know you ranted againts PU community, but it would be cool to shoot couple videos ( or whole series) on how to aproach, talk and get in relationship with women and vice versa, but yours today point of view on it.
  20. If you dont do any stuff practically, it will just mental masturbation and what you just wrote , seems like it. Fo example, if there is self-help program for your business/motivation etc. and you just watch it, take notes and do not do actual business, you are just wasting your time in fantasy land. Many people get lost in self-help fluff like this and that's why self-help today is viewed as something negative in a way, because most of people just talk, talk and talk and by their actions, any aspect of their lives they preach about at all and they tend to be really ignorant about it because they ego get's so pumped in that fantasy and ''positive thinking.'' This is very common, sneaky and dangerous trap that 99% people fall into including myself but it is good that i more aware of it and it auto corrects in a way. The reason why self-help is only useful if you take action is because it forces your ego to change. If you can imagine ego as a system with 2 polar opposites and those 2 polar opposites are your comfort zones, and now take ego who is in equilibrium and it just takes information. The result will be just ego with no change at all and now i will quote Eben Pagan on this : '' Knowledge is not information processing, it is behavior change'' So when you force your ego to move and then apply useful information, it will create that 3d effect that will cause change in your behavior and thus improve your life in long term. Of course when, you shake the system in direction, ego will fight back. It is like when you try to go to gym for first time. Every bit of you, both physical and mental side will tell you not to go and to quit. So take actions, re watch video and take notes, and take more action. Then you will grow.
  21. Depends what you want out of it ... Why you want to become one ?
  22. @GodelEscherBach To be honest, Leo's course is really good by itself but you can get the point from just watching his videos on youtube, His course is more practical and it forces you to think and work thru the process but still, if you are following what he is talking about on youtube about anything, you should at least have good idea how to direct your life (at least i did). I have read many of his books, done a lot of meditation and my bullshit detector is on high level now so i know when i lie to myself and yet there is so much to learn and develop. Personally i refunded the course because it did not have the impact i was looking for but that does not mean it is not great... i already had my life purpose narrowed down even before the course so after i have done it, there was no much to add. If i ever re-question my purpose in next 10 years (i am quite young still), it would be suit me quite good and i would buy it but that would also depend how much new stuff i would do in meantime. So if you do not like it, you can always refund it. But if you have a life purpose narrowed to something around music, just boil down to very simple thing and question why you want to do it until the rest of your life ? Does it matches your values ? Are there any toxic values etc ? How do you approach music ? Are you very analytical. science minded or very creative kinda guy ? See how that can be related to your music because we all see the same things differently. It is kinda common sense if you watched a lot of leo's videos on youtube. Btw i am doing music production myself so if you need any advice for this field, contact me. Because there is whole lot you can do with sound and music is just part of it. I am personally doing sound design with synthesizers (more precise using synthesis) and i am doing electronic music at the moment, but my big plan is to go into movie scoring (something like Hans Zimmer style with lots of classical music and weird sounds that are being shaped with synthesizer). This is something that i design from scratch using synthesis. Performance vise, i do not play piano very good so this may not sound perfect but i quite happy what i managed to do within one year just studying music from scratch like harmony, scales and stuff and before that i had no clue what keys are on piano Now i have my own way how to write melodies that i want and harmonies that i want... i kinda hacked music theory in the nutshell. On top of that, designing sounds from scratch via synths is also something i am rally proud of because it is really hard skill to learn... now i can listen to movie abstract sounds or even elecronic music and copy sounds to sound the same 80,90%. So if you are wondering now : Maybe i am too old ? Nah.... I learn this in 1,2 year from just having basic knowledge of audio engineering. As i said, i was clueless about music and now i am releasing my music on other continent. So if you are 30 and if you have time, you are good to go.... plus you have good basis if you know how to play some instruments. Learn the technology part of music and your eyes will open how deep that field is. Cheers
  23. @Juan Cruz Giusto I must say i can not remember at this point. I did know find it on official eben pagan website for sure, because his courses sometimes contain many programs and it is hard to find specific courses. If i remember correctly, i found it as free download somewhere on Google, but i have no clue where.
  24. @Fabio @Huz I can not be sure about Apple new buds, but i know they sound decent so you should get results from them. However to be honest, personally I am against any buds because they do not feel good after longer period of listening (plus they damage your hearing much faster if you listen to music loud) so if you are going to use Holosync each day for 1 hour over next 2 years, you should take that into account. As for iPhone playback quality, you are completely since sometimes i play Holosync from my iPhone 4, but in most cases i use my RME UCX headphone outputs (but that is pro gear range and you should not go into that). As for my upheavals, currently i am felling depressed and i have hard mood swings but i am not so reactive to it since i am aware over this period of time that is going to happen all the time. But yet, that is just me and i worked on mylself a lot so maybe some people with lower Emotional intelligence will fail to recognize it. One really important thing i want to point out is that you can expect very strange and fucked up dreams, especially if you use Holosync in evening. Week ago i had a very strange nightmare (i was not scared but it was so confusing) where i found myself going into some hotel room, and when i opened the door, there was one more door. At that point i was realized (in dream) that nightmare will start, and when opened the door i knew what to expect - more doors. So i kept opening them and just went pushing them and they just kept opening like deck of card is being shuffled. I realized there is no way out and turn around and i saw hooded figure from which i wanted to take the hood off because i could not see the face, but it was the same thing going on with doors. After that some other crazy stuff were going on and i woke up. But the point was, i could never see the face of that person so i researched and analyzed the dream and from research, i realized Holosync dug up really deep into my mind and dug up some really powerful dirt So keep in mind that all you are experiencing can be reframed as being good. Also keep always idea in your head, however bad it gets, after some point in time, you will be in much better state if you keep using Holosync On other side, i had very powerful experiences like being omni present and out of my body. This is something really hard to describe but if you start to feel that something weird is going on with your body, just let it happen however scary it may look like. Because first thing you will experience will be losing touch and sense where your legs are. For example, you will be sitting and experiencing pressure on your but and legs but your sense of that will totally change in terms of where you feel that pressure. So in other words, you will feel your leg floating in space randomly. Second thing that will happen your so called ''field of awareness'' and that field is everything you experience in this present moment.. that thing will slightly shift and you will experience everything in very odd way. When it happens, you will realize what i am talking about but most important thing, let it happen because trust me, nothing bad will happen to you even tho it will scare the shit out of you.. This happened to me 5,6 times and i was fully present what was going on and it is very pleasant experince when you surrender to it. Second experince was something what i believe was my first Kundalini awakening. Best i can describe it is like a hardcore epileptic seizure (which i had chance to experince and it was scariest experince of my life, scary that i thought i died when i lost consciousness ) but it was very pleasant because i knew that i just have to surrender to it. So it felt like my mind was experiencing purge and all i can describe after that i was totally out of my self and i was experiencing this weird free flowing energy that i considered to be my body.. but as we know, we think of our bodies as being solid but here i realized that is just one big illusion. So that was my peak experince and it happened like 2,3 weeks ago... But improtant thing to remember, surrender to them because once you do, they feel amazing and blissful + your ego will get crushed a bit because the ego will try to fight the experince from going with all sorts of fears and other bullshit. Ask me, if you need something else.
  25. @Lamp You have Dive and Immersion tracks on each CD and first program you need to do is Awakening prologue. Awakening prologue has its own Dive and Immersion that have higher binaural beats than other programs. This is because the frequencies that these beats create match your brain waves and when you listen to Holosync and meditate, your brain's waves will try to match beating frequency. This has been proved in many researches when they placed Buddhist monks on MRI scanner and the monks, after they meditated for decades, they were able to produce different brain waves like alpha, gamma, delta, theta etc which really hard to do with normal person because your brain's hemispheres do not communicate very well between each other due to lack of neural connections thus each hemisphere produces different wave and you experience different forms of emotions that are very confusing and thus you experience depression or just ordinary dissatisfaction with life . When you meditate and once your brain is ''synced'' to matching frequency, you experience peace and many spiritual states. This is hard to get with normal meditations and Holosync makes it faster but it also has its disadvantages. So in nutshell, each CD will have Dive and Immersion but they will sound different because further you go into Holosync, the lower the frequency will go (that is reason why you need really good headphones to produce those frequencies). Now, the first program Awakening prologue has only one Dive and one Immersion and once you are done with it, you can start with Awakening Level 1,2,3,4 and the rules are all the same. You start with Dive for 14 days and then follow the instructions that i copied. The difference here is that you have 4 different immersions you will listen after the Dive but you need to follow the schedule that i posted. So like in Awakening Prologue, you start with Dive for 14 days and then you add Immersion. Here you liisten Dive for 14 days and you add Immersion to that Dive from CD and you listen it for 6 weeks... after that is completed, you move on to second Immersion from CD2 and repeat it for 6 weeksand so on. After you complete Dive + All immersion tracks for 6 months ( for one Dive + immersion number one it will take you 6 weeks which is month and a half), you move on Awakening Level 2 and thus process repeats. Given all this, you will need about 4 months for Awakening prologue + 2 years for the all Awakening Levels 1,2,3,4 to complete Holosync (each level is 6 months ). After that, it is your choice if you want to add Purification and Flowering (which are highly recommended because after cleaning you will make some positive neural pathways with these stuff) but they are separated it seems. . Btw, you MUST start with awakening prologue or other stuff will not have effect So it goes like this : 1. Awakening Prologue : Dive 14 days Dive + Immersion - 4 months (or 6 but i think it was 4) 2. Awakening Level 1 : Dive 14 days Dive + Immersion from CD 1 for 1- 6 week Dive + Immersion from CD 2 for 7-12 week Dive + Immersion from CD 3 13-18 week Dive + Immersion from CD 4 19-24 week 3. Awakening Level 2 : Same as level 1 and repeat for 3 and 4. Same will work for Purification and Flowering. Gamma programs are different and they are not part of holosync ... they are extra tracks if you wanna listen but in my honest opinion, finish Holosync first and then experiment with other stuff. About results : You will experience some really good stuff with this but it works with each person different. But it will force you to meditate for first 30 mins per day soon for 1 hour (Dive is 30 mins and so is Immersion) which is for itself a great meditation without Holosync aid. So that alone would have a great effect but imagine now it has something like steroid effect to it.
