Leo Gura is probably not a cult leader, but I understand why some people think he is. The reason is that he speaks very confidently about subjects that many people believe cannot be known with absolute certainty. So when someone like Leo claims to understand existence on a deep level, people may automatically assume that he must be a cult leader because he gives off an energy that feels intellectually dominant. At the same time, some people’s egos may react negatively to someone who appears more intelligent or insightful than they perceive themselves to be. Even though Leo repeatedly says in his posts and videos that people should not believe him blindly, but instead remain skeptical and verify everything through their own direct experience, it is still possible that this could function as an unconscious cult strategy. By telling people not to trust him, he may make the movement appear less cult-like. What I am really trying to say is that no one knows for certain whether Leo is a cult leader or not, and that is the point many people in this forum seem to be missing.

I have never taken psychedelic substances. I did a long dry fast, and it killed the demons within me. I became alive like a child again. I saw life as happiness instead of cold darkness. I felt like a vampire, except that I was no longer a slave to my impulses. Dry fasting is truly something for you if you want to feel reborn. Your old self dies, and then you are resurrected.

You need to realize that you are God. You need to understand that what you are looking for cannot be found in the outside world, but within yourself. What you are truly searching for is a sense of wholeness, and you believe that if you keep chasing long enough, you will eventually find it. But that is the illusion you need to see through. Try watching movies or TV shows in the evenings to calm your mind and get out of that constant chasing mode. And try to go to sleep before midnight whenever possible.

You are in a period where making decisions will feel difficult. It may feel like you are losing a child if you let go of the motorcycle lifestyle. But health comes first, as many people say, and everything else comes after that.
