  1. Just fall in love and surrender yourself to that fuzzy feeling of surrender and that you don't have to compete anymore, have your darling gf onenaitis fully fullfilled and just be happy cos thats all that matters in life...
  2. Princeples and aplication. You do your homework then you go out jumping in the rivers and scouting forests.
  3. A simplified Spiral Dynamics Sales model would be like this if this would be societal board meeting of executives and % ESTIMATE of vote capacity 1%Turquise_oh world is already perfect(#wisdom and insight) 5%Yellow_if we only get the systems right (Onto something with many succeses) 10% Green_we must take fair trade and eco care first priority (unpractical) 40%Orange_we exploit what we can the rest will sort itself through trickle down economics (not much introspection) 30%Blue_oh world is already perfect(#the bible says) 15%Red_I conquer! I take! I rape! Oh yeay the life is good...unless you are a looser... 5%Purpule_our tribe is our world and world is a mystery (more interested in shrooms then world markets) (I know its 106% but its automation extras) ... Ppl have diffrent values and needs. To make it ethical? World is a mess and tech rooted in orange values is arguably adding as many solutions as problems, permaculture anyone? I thought so... nay ... ppl want buzz and thrill of mindless novelty, Infrastructures sustain that. Verdict: Top ethics 5% wisdom#privilidge of few 20%tech cos porn needs servers 5%green feel good, cos it sells ... Moderate to low ethics Basically everything else, but it can make you cynical over time while paying bills
  4. Indeed it is rare today and in the past, not practical in wordly sense, to most ppl not even recommended, but you can go for a meditation retreat fo 10 days or a year and get a glimpse of that without throwing your life away
  5. Hmmm... let us consider then, per sheer amount of gore bloodshed cruelty and ... oh yeah btw civilization scale clash of total war...it could be considered a hyper horror in a sense if we take those into account... am Ay biased thee askieth? Welll... we shall say me likes my tea black...
  6. What if lets say in wordly sense you realise that institution you cherished and worshiped becomes crooked and calcified and only grace to be foud is that of finding truth beyond the dogma of which common folk considers 'good' but then you shalt be called evil by many... @Hojo yep you get the idea... @Salvijus darkness can be transformative
  7. No. You can go kamikaze for your values and have no job no friends no relationships and be happy and dust poor like many monks, sages, ascetics did over time immemorial.
  8. You got to play to your strenghts, some have good instincts, others just plow through numbers of approaches, there is also diffrent societal niches and identifing where you belong and operate the best will will probably save you hundreds of approaches and failures.
  9. @BlueOak not a bad business model, but it all can fail in execution. For example bad timing for an idea, it can be good idea but market was not ready for it or it was too late for it...
  10. @Salvijus In Hinduism they have Kali worship and Aghori ascetics. And I don't know if they worship satan, but surely remind themselves of cruelty and impermanence of life. A techno party can be hell to a monk, a monastery can be hell to social butterfly. Heaven can get stagnant. Hell offers brute meritocracy. Take thy pick...
  11. Well the movie was done about occult cult in the midst of satanic panic in 70s Which to me is a broader cultural commentary of some dark themes exploration of how evil works its way. So the movie title was probably marketing smart and just said with acuracy of what the movie was all about. Still you coud say "it wasn't the brightest choice" and I would agree to that.
  12. REWORK by Jason Fred and Ddh Short concise and useful
  13. He has his flaws too, often leaps in spiritual growth comes through being disenchanted with one or the other guru at one time or another
  14. Mr. Bean Rowan Atkinson is the only ecyclopedia of charm and diplomacy you shall ever need Mr.Bean On how to date
  15. Oh.... I'm so evil... But... i couldn't help myself, but being so the point its just the movie title and I wanted to ask for opinions for example ambigiuous ending of it, whats the meaning and maybe even more broadly social commentary of its relavence today?
  16. Cos its complex. And filled with uncertainty. Extra perks for winners though. Most won't even try.

  18. Retreat into nature or meditation retreat or dopamine fasting. Do what you love
  19. If things go best way it will provide best possible growth conditions for humans. If not... kaboom bigger then nuclear arsenal combined
  20. Join the zombies they thirst for thy brain!
  21. Some estimates says there's about 60 milion millionaires in present day world. Is that a lot? The rest? Can systems be better? Once you get on top it serves you too well to care?
