UFC fighters aren't paid enough to throw away money like that in the first place, add things like physical therapy and various medical expenses, fight camp expenses, staff expenses etc. and after those are concluded even those fighters on the top of the roster end up having only decent money, nothing extraordinary. Constantly improving ones strength is a good thing, it is one of the very few realistic and healthy avenues of self improvement left. Going to the gym for it is kind of unnecessary and kinda gay tho imho, since you can lift stuff in the comfort of your home - and gay cause mostly dudes are going to the gym, doesn't mean you're literaly gay but actions can be considered gay imo

Scandinavian countries are not socialist, they are capitalist with goverments strong enough to employ wide range of social welfare policies. Socialism means state has absolute control over the means of production. That is true to a degree, however who you are is very difficult to consciously control and to a significant degree it is out of your control. It is possible to modify behaviour, create new habits, etc. but this fantasy that one day, you can just become someone completely new and different. Is largely just that.
