Do you think God is a wussy that wants everything easy? Thats our ego's idea, but perhaps God's character wants more from us and that is actually good for us - that is love. Think about the difference between spoilt and normal kids. Really from a limited perspective I agree with you, my ego also has a problem with this! But the real problem is my ego haha!

It was just the saying, "God knows" when you don't know something , not a statement about what is true. I thought you also meant "Who knows" as in the statement, not inquiry ? Wow this quote definitely rings true and I cannot possibly disprove it because its a paradoxical loop

Even still, no one has authority over God. It is so infinite that no one entity can speak about it with accuracy from where I'm standing. I listen to Ramana and other spiritual teachers, but I don't take all words as gold. Have to remember that they are all human and make errors. In maths those errors can be proven, but when we are not dealing with an exact science, those errors will slide and will get spread like a virus. God knows nothing? You know nothing, John Snow! Big respect for Ramana and his Self Inquiry pointings. Dont take all words of gurus as golden truth. I can call bullshit on anyone, even Buddha, when I see it. That doesnt mean they werent profound, but when you put yourself out there, you are bound to make mistakes also. Just a simple example, there are these tricky math questions on YouTube and people in the comments usually speak complete BS out of ignorance, but there are many likes and groupthink and if it wasnt maths, those BS comments would be considered truth. Well.... You can see how a subject as big as God, we have to be extremely careful and its not as easy to verify - see you are asking others what they think, and if they agree, you will agree... And since Ramana said it, you agree...

I doubt Ramana Maharshi has said this. Usually when people talked about God in front of him, he made sure to turn them back to the self investigation and said not to concern themselves with God. At least from what I have heard and read from Ramana. Anyone can write up any quote and put it as if someone from the past has said it - Einstein.

I havent experienced this but the closest experience to this was when one time my "solid brain" turned into "waves" (explaining the experience with words as best I can) after which it quickly solidified again and some awesome stuff started happening like fireworks within, hearing songs from within (mainly this one: https://youtu.be/9EHAo6rEuas?t=86 from the time specified) and later a very vivid dream, a dream like never before, I would say more like a vision than a dream. Was speaking with an old friend over a video call... I can't believe this really happened, because it was so surreal and something that probably can't be explained by science (maybe quantum science). The thing with the songs from within has happened to me before, it is one of the most magical experiences ever! Because the songs are so perfect, they are always better than the original and some words are changed to express something specifically... Its divine really and I wish it happened more often - I also don't know the catalyst and whether it will ever happen again

Well, God is the most popular word that points to God but I wouldn't be concerned about God. Be concerned with looking at your own self, that is what you have access to. Leave God to God, the Universe to the Universe. We are too small to put our nose in those things. An ant and a human have the same chance to figure it out - 0. But human has the opportunity to reflect on its own self, which is for me, the right direction.

Who are they for and why are they generated? Uhh DUUH they are generated only for me when I look at them... If I was the only one who is real, why am I not the ruler of the world? This was not the focus of my reply and critique. I did not say that you wouldn't do anything because its all you, but because your mom doesnt exist when she is not in the room. Or if you do something about it, then you prove that what you say is false and things that are not perceived right now also exist. Which one is it?

But lets see if its radically correct through this made up example: Your mom calls you and says she needs help, someone is trying to get in her house and only you can help. Then the phone switches off and you are supposed to go help her... But then, you remember, "if its not sensed right now, its less than nothing". "My mom doesn't exist now, she only existed a moment ago and it was just her voice too, not her!" Now you are chilling, having an ice cream and your mom gets mugged. That's if you are radical about what you just said! I get that it might be helpful during meditation to keep centered, but it is not an absolute thing from where I'm standing. Mixing meditation technique with real life might be oversimplification and using a sock, which you try to fit your whole body in... It might be a good and valid tool for one thing, but not absolute.

Love when people ask the good and controversial questions. For me the only way to tackle this is by example of another state of consciousness which we know for a fact (or do we?) has only One in it- your own dream state. Because in waking state we do not have the confirmation there is only One, like in dream, but just a suggestion/theory by some other characters that say it. In dream you can have all sort of characters, and they will do things which you do not have a clue about, even though everything is happening in your own mind. From this observation, I gather that there is a deeper intelligence at play which creates both you and the others and the whole story. Perhaps a good word would be the subconscious mind (for the dream case) and God for the waking case. But even in dreams you have your will, depending on the dream, and you can make choices that alter the dream events (especially in more lucid dreams). And it appears others are also doing things that alter the dream events. But these entities are all unreal - or you can say, only real while the dream is going on. Now if you say this to a dream character during the dream they would, supposedly, argue with you and say you are dumb, and maybe even start beating you to prove that its real (just a scenario). That would be undesirable by your character, even though your character was correct in what it was saying. Moral of the story: know the truth, but don't go about saying it, so you keep out of trouble and nightmares Have a good dream instead by doing contemplations silently and then not preaching to others, unless someone wants your input. So really, if this reality is a dream on another level, both Person A and Person B are figments of Reality's imagination playing out a story (but a story with branches, and your choices and other's choices do matter in terms of what happens - not predetermined IMHO, but spontaneously emerging ). Non of them is You, and both of them is you at the same time! But so is the chair I guess. We won't figure it out, that's like an ant trying to figure out maths. Its just beyond us and will always be! IMHO PS: I have never had other people's thoughts even in a dream! But I have been spider man, and I can clearly say its not cool when both the cops and the bad guys are after you! I would take peace over super powers. And really, from contemplating what you suggest one can really fall off the rails if goes too deep! I assume at least
