You say that, but humans have observed the mathematical golden ratio that is prevalent in nature. All you need to get that ratio is to start from 0 and 1, then start adding 2 previous to get the next. 0,1,1,2,3,5,8,13, ... . Then you take 2 numbers next to each other and divide them. You get an approximation of the golden ratio. The higher the numbers the better the approximation. Your body follows the golden ratio in many ways. You can find out more or measure yourself. Leonardo Davinci used it in the Mona Lisa and other paintings. Then we think about the Moon in relation to the Earth and distances between space objects and we find more maths. I wouldnt be quick to assume whether or not maths has any play in life.

Ive had those, later docs told me i had psychosis. I know what I experienced was real, it wasnt dream like. Yes it was wonky and not standard, but it was real. I still needed inbreaths and outbreaths, and I could still experience and use my hands and feet without fail. Just impossible things happening around me. Ever heard of the saying "pinch me so I know im not dreaming"?

Well, in my dreams I have been Spiderman, I have been a master Jedi stronger than even Anakin/Luke/Yoda, I have jumped immeasurable distances, or even flying. In a dream if I hurt someone, in a flash they can turn into something else or the dream can change, there is never such inconsistency in waking. If I hurt someone in waking, I have to live with that, correct? Or face consequences, I can't just wake up and be done with it. Unless suicide, but they say that's not cool bro. Maybe dream = fantasy, but waking = mathematical fantasy, making it real at its core. 1 unit +1 unit will be 2 units. Not in dreams though. I recently had a dream where I lift a cushion and it just spawns another cushion in its place for me to lift. That breaks maths hard! Its not real.

Im here telling you, without direct experiential evidence, that you, as a human, have a unique subjective experience, just like me, and we can talk in length about it, and we can only talk about it because it is our experience. An AI cannot talk to me about it, because it doesn't have an experience of it. It can surely try to parrot or appear smart about the topic, but it wont get very far. So now we know something about each other without the need of direct experiential evidence. I dont need to experience life as Leo to know Leo has his own unique experience and feelings.

If you are well versed in dreaming you can easily spot the differences between waking and dream. Even if there was one difference, that's enough to prove that waking reality is not dream, but there are many differences. In a dream go ahead and treat everyone as if they are NPC's you are not hurting anyone's feelings. In the waking reality, you should think twice.

Lucian asks how he can have direct evidence that other bubbles of consciousness (aka personal first person experiences) exist for others, when for him they only appear as images/perception in his awareness. He has no evidence of a Rupert Spira (or a Leo) subjective experience. What if you are just NPC's basically, the standard solipsistic stuff. Rupert basically tries to say that consciousness is much vaster than your conscious mind. That when you don't perceive London for example, London does in fact still exist, even if its not in your direct experience now. London is still within consciousness, even if its not within your conscious mind's grasp at this moment, This is in contrast to what you have said in the past. I tend to agree with Rupert Spira on this particular subject, as I believe consciousness is without form and permeates the entire picture, which means I (as an individual being) don't have to be aware of something for it to exist. TLDR: My parents are not figments of my imagination

Law would imply something that always works. What you describe is not a law, like gravity. What you describe is that if you put in the work and effort required you can achieve a goal. Law would imply something that works wether or not I actively do it. Gravity works the same way, even if I believe the opposite.

So you have to take a leap of faith and "take a risk" to acquire a possible reward. Wether you get it or not is not guaranteed, and you don't know when. Seems to me like another type of gambling, just not with money, but with your time and effort. Then you achieve the goal you set and say God gave it to you? You did the work and it aligned with good fortune, then you say it was God?

My point was not that you have to always not think. My point: When you find out you have the option not to think, this adds an extra layer of choice, of free will. Even if you are unable to change your thoughts, you can choose not to follow them. Entirely your choice, but without knowing how to stop thinking, you don't have that choice. Many people suffer of this, so I recommend Eckhart to many. Its the simplicity of that man. That interview on the park bench is the most ordinarily extraordinary video. Please watch it if you havent, or watch it again, its not like I havent watched it a million times.

I'll share with you dream experiences I've had. As a child I've had many natural lucid dreams, before even knowing about the concept lucid dreaming. It will be far too much to tell you every single dream I remember, and there are many spectacular ones, but I want to just focus on 2. One from childhood, and one later on. In the first one, I was in my apartment (6th floor, very high up, btw this location has been a recurring location for many many many of my dreams both lucid and not throughout my life), and I immediately felt the urge to fly. I was obviously with a dream body, but I had a form. I jumped out of the window, and I actually FLEW, I can honestly sit here and tell you that I actually KNOW what it feels like to fly (without assistance), it felt absolutely amazing and free, better than sex, better than anything imaginable. I get goose bumps and chills just remembering that! I often forget, because it's just an experience in the past now. I can't actually fly, but I know what it feels like. The second dream is one with LEO, yes our Leo here. I promise you I'm not lying, this actually happened in the dream. I was on a one to one Skype call with him and he was showing me where he lives, completely normal conversation, nothing crazy spiritual, although I was there for spiritual guidance. He showed me his modest wife, modest room, modest ukulele. He played a ukulele song for me to enjoy. I can't recall every single detail, just the ones I remember. Then at some point I dont know if he asked me something or did something with his hands, the memory has faded, but long story short, I merged with and became the entire dream. no longer a dream form, I moved not as a character within the dream, I moved as the dream itself! That's probably close to what you are talking about here of being Everything, although you will probably disagree again. But it was my actual experience, there and then, in the moment that I was the ENTIRE dream, absolutely everything. I can't tell you much about that or what it feels like. I'll have to say "you had to be there", but sounds pretentious. It was only an experience. What I am trying to say with this second dream, is that I have actual experience of what you are saying about being everything, but it was in the dream state, not in the waking state. If I experience having sex within a dream, and its all just the same as real life sex (I've had those dreams as well), then could it be possible you can have REAL experiences within actual dreams? Maybe I do know what actual "Being everything" feels like and what actual flying feels like, without experiencing those in the waking state. But you assume that I don't have such experiences behind my belt, because you are talking to an idea of me, a stick figure you created, thinking you know everything about me, because of the words I write on a forum. But within that dream even more amazing than being the entire dream was when I was speaking with Leo and was amazed at how he has the time of day to speak with me one to one and show me his life. As two separate forms. Relationships between objects and people, student and master, him playing a funny song for me, all that good stuff, which were no longer there when I was moving as the entire dream.
