  1. Many take it that they are not the body as another belief at first. I even see it as one of the biggest traps. The mind will be confused. The only way to know this truth is to stop believing in the matter paradigm which most people are subscribed to. What you are saying is only true if one has realised that their experience of the world is all there is and there isn't a world of form outside of mind. Hell even I haven't transcended this illusion completely its super hard. So I think when most of us say we are not the body, this is just because we believe this thought more than we believe the other (that we are the body). So if we prove it intellectually, that's still not enough somehow. The process of disidentification is gradual imo. The bodymind has been the subject far too long for this realisation to be instant. Idk, just some mindgasms over here don't read
  2. This voice speaks truth. If you can't see something it does not mean it is not there. Words are just words yes, but everything is vibration, even words. It's exactly what emptiness would say if it could speak btw.... Perhaps it could be the same voice Neil Walsch supposedly talked with in his book Conversations with God. Try to reconnect.
  3. You could also accept and surrender to the escape
  4. Yeah and maybe asking yourself who is meditating more often if you haven't yet @Simon Håkansson
  5. To me being addicted to meditation is like being addicted to water. Some things are ok ???✌
  6. Literally me when I read it. Just not as cute. @Natasha I'm very happy to hear ? Today I cried too much, first there was this documentary of a woman that endured concentration camp and now this ?? happy endings. She outlived Hitler, you outlived cancer. Just awesome.
  7. I can give you teachers, you can watch as many videos as you need: Rupert Spira, Mooji, Leo and recently Bentinho. Oh, and of course.. Ekhart Tolle! And Ramana Maharshi, don't know how I forgot @egoless I like this one I just found if you cant find any short mooji vids. But I love watching entire satsangs too, its lovely. @egoless
  8. Watch this from the 14 minute mark, it should answer your question.
  9. This video illustrates the deeper truth of awareness - imo watching this should give an awakening on the level of mind at the very least. Continue your practices and enjoy! Namaste fellow spiritual junkies ?
  10. I don't know. What is enlightenment but end of suffering by knowing your true nature? The rest is dream, be it "physical" or beyond.
  11. I don't see prosperity and God as mutually exclusive. For me, with the proper education in looking inwards, materialism is not a problem at all. I like having money, otherwise my dream would be a nightmare. I don't like having nightmares, even if I dont identify with them.
  12. One can be enlightened and not spiritual (most are). But why.. Spirituality is fun :-D Did you see in Bentinho's drawing, spirituality was written out as the infinity symbol... For me you need spirituality to realise you are enlightened and for that to make sense on a deep experiential level.
  13. Unless your karma is a lot of pain. Don't want to close my eyes for the many starving and homeless for whom it seems life is not built around. Only for the few lucky to get born or live in a first-second world country. If you live in say Bulgaria(well its not the best example but close), your higher self will have a bit tougher time manifesting you a job so you better hurry.
  14. Top 3 for me currently (but most of the spiritual books out there are great!): The power of now- Ekhart Tolle (as you mentioned) The end of your world - Adyashanti Being beyond belief - Mike George (currently reading this one and it is letting me become aware of my false beliefs)
  15. I found this video extremely clear and profound. I think Roger really deserves to have more of an audience, because his videos are always of the highest standards and he seems like an amazing teacher.
  16. Suffering is the fire which put me on the path, staying on the path because of curiosity and desire to know who is on the path or off the path in the first place. I.e. exploring myself
  17. However being, or being aware is limitless. From my inquiry it looks like I am not that which appears in nothingness, but the nothingness itself. Now I need to stop talk and be a good student
  18. Samsara has egos, reality has truth is my opinion. What is the pineal gland but a concept in awareness. If you're the pineal gland in your experience thats interesting. Not gonna do your inquiry for.you,im far from a teacher, I am a bad student still
  19. I want to add here, dont stop at what your feeling is. Now investigate who is having this feeling. Ego is not my interest, my interest is knowing who I am existentially.
  20. That might be true if there was evidence for a body other than the knowing of it. The sense of having a body is clearly inside your awareness. This is the paradigm problem again
  21. I told you I am not investigating ideas, but the one to whom the ideas appear. Thats the essense of my inquiry. Let me give you a taste of one of my favourite type of self inquiry : I like to visualise something with closed eyes (from as simple as a dot, to a face or whatever) and then contemplate what is seeing that. It's like the eyes trying to see themselves. Then I simply hold awareness on that presence that is seeing the object of visualisation, because I've found that this is the best mirror I can put in front of it, as it cannot be seen as an object, as it is always the subject. Putting awareness on awareness is the best mirror for awareness to know itself. I do this also with sounds "Who hears?", sensations, etc, everything can be used for this practice. If you hold a mental image of truth or who you are, dont be interested in that. Be more interested in the one to whom they appear.
  22. There is only the present moment, nice try though hehehe! Initial inertia for what... I am always aware. Ego is only an illusion, it's just as real as Santa
