That materialistic? To me it sounded like the general idea that reality can exist without a perceiver. (At least a human one - which is probably true) Perhaps the only perceiver needed is nothingness/teotl, in which case he is CORRECT.

reading this I remember I had a dream with Eckhart Tolle, we were under a staircase and he kind of showed me without words just that being present there and then is what my purpose is and I felt complete.

I had a self inquiry breakthrough. I did self inquiry in a more focused and deep way than ever before with clarity and intention of going deep. What happened made me freak out enough to not repeat the same intensity ever since. I was lying down on the bed, the sheets all of a sudden started moving as if a strong wind was there - yet I was home. But I had set as an intention to keep the self inquiry NO MATTER WHAT happens. So I kept going and all of a sudden I experienced my body from a 3rd person POV, somehow I was above my body, but at the same time in my body its hard to explain. I could not continue the self inquiry further, I opened my eyes and there I was. Everything was normal again. This experience is pretty paranormal to me.

Sounds like a severe case of pain body. Try to observe and yet stay detached from these and any thoughts really. Whatever will be will be. Just breathe amd sometimes is best to simply focus on your breathing and putting attention in self inquiry - placing attention on the deepest you you can find for long periods of time. Kriya yoga has never been something I found attractive, because I like simplicity, simple things. Self inquiry is the way.
