I'm just going to say this. Maybe it helps. Maybe it doesn't. It doesn't really matter. @Andreas You took me by surprise when you used that adjective "cultish" on me. It's not because it's your opinion or whatever reason. It's because when I was having a discussion with Leo on this thread, I was actually disagreeing with Leo. Cult refers to strong (brainwashed) similarities, not differences.

Happy Birthday ? Leo ??????

@Leo GuraI just thought of something in our most recent discussion. The average Joe is too lazy to dig through to find the needle in the haystack. Not so easy to build the obstacle, is it? We can't build a candy haystack. All the candies will be eaten and the needle ignored.

Explain the difference when it's being applied to a life purpose. When a life purpose is a .com, it's an early stage startup capable of scaling and growth. But, in the beginning, it's also capable of self-employment. Yes, this could be very useful when jobs are scarce or when you have to move. You won't lose your self-employment if you're on the internet. Tax deduction is applied when it's a home business. Rules are different in a .org . The structure is not meant for scaling and profit. Another thing with .com is that it's more capable of being in the Maslow pyramid structure. Self-transcendence is a must at the top. It will not be at the base. We can't all be "monks" and "sages." That would be .org structure. If you go straight into .org, your lifestyle may not be stable because you skipped through stage orange and never really understood entrepreneurship and how to apply it in your life. There are drawbacks if you're just a .org (green) lifestyle. There is nothing wrong with .org . It's just that if you only do that, skipping through orange, you may end up like this monk. She needed help. She had serious cancer throughout her body. Her fellow monks were unable to raise enough money to send her to a proper hospital. So, she called her brother, Kiyosaki, Trump's friend , another real estate tycoon to save her life. I think they did a book together so that she could understand passive income. Just sharing my thoughts.

@whoareyou You and @Andreas are completely free to have your own opinions. However, if the both of you are too lazy to go back and read what I said to Leo, and just conveniently label it as "cult-like" for your own entertainment, then I can't help you. Like I said, you and others are free to have your own opinions. But, I'm just saying that cult is a strong word. I'm just picturing Leo and I "thinking alike, dressing alike, and doing the same buggie dance." ??????????? Yikes! Well, I hope I was able to entertain you guys.
-
@Andreas At least I'm well aware enough that Leo and I are not "two identical peas of the same pod." This is getting funny actually ? but going nowhere. Bye now.
-
@Andreas It's just your opinion. There's no truth to it.
-
@Andreas It's ok. At your point, you are not even aware that there are differences between me and let's say Leo. That's why you think that "we all look alike and behave alike" just for the sake of your opinion. Cult is an extreme word. It's tribalism stage red. Nah, I don't see it happening here.
-
@Andreas Just so that you're aware: you're not in a cult.
-
@Andreas Just wanted to say that I think it's also rude to go around calling ppl "cult" for no reason. That's all I want to say at you.
-
No, I'm not interested in changing your mind. I didn't say that. You could stay where you are.
-
@Andreas Are you even aware that you took whatever I said at Leo wayyyyy out of context and proportion? I'm not interested in having a debate with you because of your hasty conclusion and projection at me. Not interested. Not interested in wasting my time. End of discussion.
-
@Andreas I don't care if you disagree with me. But, continuing to make hasty conclusions at what I said and what others said gets nowhere. And then you namecall ppl "cult." Excessively debating with ppl takes the thread nowhere. This is called spamming. We're not getting anywhere.
-
If you go around misinterpreting, misunderstanding, and projecting what others are saying, no one will be interested discussing anything with you. I'm not interested. Enough of this spamming. Final warning.
-
Is this what I said to Leo? No.
-
In other words, when you point a direction, they don't stop to contemplate for a while what you actually mean. They misinterpret and go the wrong direction. This sets them off on a long tangent. Change that will benefit the person as well as others will only come when the average Joe realizes that he's going off on the wrong tangent. It is possible to continue to look for ways to resolve this. Don't give up. To do this, you know that you cannot be walking down the same road and getting the same results.
-
No, that would further make them stuck in orange. In their minds, they won't see that as green. They may go for mgtow or pua afterwards. It's hard for them to go from that squirt video to your detachment video on relationships. That is too big of a jump.
-
Cool. But, orange Joes are still the average Joes on the streets who don't even bother about any mystics. There has to be a more effective way to plant the seeds. Blue average Joes are now unpopular. You see? But, if you look at the positive points of orange, there is a saying, "Challenges are opportunities." Be on the lookout for more effective ways to communicate mysticism to the average orange Joe.
-
Yes, correct. We listed a lot of the mystics in the turquoise thread already. Haven't we? I'm talking more about communicating the teachings effectively to the average orange Joe. That's quite a challenge and something to think about--how to plant the seeds in them.
-
How do you think someone like Jesus would live nowadays if he's to live life to the fullest? How would someone like him communicate his teachings effectively? Because during his time, I doubt society went beyond blue/red. Now, it's orange because the average Joe could relate to orange.

Gurus who never did any business in their lives will not know anything about business. They try to go straight into self-transcendence skipping through the good points of stage orange. (I find that this is an important topic, so I made a video request here.) They don't know the difference between a stock and a startup. One is investing on the outside, and the other is investing on the inside. One is like gambling if you don't know what you're doing, and the other is not. Enlightenment itself, if the guru has it, only gives you the wisdom of why we are one, and the transformation back into your ego. Does it point to profound insights of life? Sure. But, it doesn't go into details of life--like, how to do business and earn money. That, you have to figure out yourself. -
Just wanted to share some more points because I find this topic crucial... A life purpose that's also a .com will include the following: Win-win situations Challenges are opportunities. Actions speak louder than words. Something that most ppl can relate to at first glance. Being eye catching is a plus. Able to include the complete Maslow structure, including self-transcendence in some way (although not required) Teaching/learning (esp a useful skill) for survival and beyond, covering the foundation of Maslow. Goes with the saying, "Give a man a fish; feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish; feed him for life." Different techniques for teaching and learning. (Eg. Learning through art, cooking, exercising, teaching for children, teaching for slow learners, etc.) The roles for teaching and learning can be reversed. Very inclusive of all perspectives, but does not let down its guards when it gets down to business and the nitty gritty. Knows limitations. A .com life purpose with self-transcendence will include: Gets down to the point when self-transcendence is being pointed out. Takes into consideration: Only those who are ready to hear it will hear it. Truth isn't taught. It's realized. To be discussed at the top of Maslow's, not at the base, or close to the base. I always thought that the Shaolin monks as a group (big picture) is a good example of .com/life purpose/self-transcendence, although some features need to be more developed if a person is going to learn from them--like pitching, for example.

The guy who needs to clean his house needs to do it himself, just like everyone else. There is a saying, "Give a man a fish; feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish; feed him for life." I'm talking about teaching someone how to clean his house rather than doing it for him all the time and spoiling him. I'm not talking about feeling guilty. Everyone has to overcome this obstacle in life.

Yes, it can be communicated non-verbally. Anything is possible in non-duality. For example, it is possible for a paranormal, such as an angel, to find a way to communicate to you non-verbally, and to tell you that you already had enlightenment (aka Riding the Ox Backwards), if you already did. And, it's very meaningful and convincing. It's convincing enough so that you could write it down in a book. That's an example. -
In the beginning, you may try to brute force it: Then, you may discover a more effective way and keep going more lightly. Ok, that's fine. Then, at times, you may have more energy and a little more free time, and think to yourself, "here's my chance!" Then, you keep going for it. It's never the same energy, but you keep going. It's what happened to me here at this point in my life.
