Yet when I ask you to specifically point to bad/devilish things that he has done in his 4 years of presidency, you cannot list a single thing? What I understood, is both sides (MAGA and anti-MAGA) are 2 sides of the same coin - both who totally lack critical thinking and are brainwashed.

Here is a good example of someone who really thought things through and presented a solid position, with examples as to what made they vote for a particular candidate and their evolution. Instead of childish name calling and labeling, this person presents a constructive arguments with explanations that would benefit and advance the discussion. All you are doing is placing labels and name-calling. How about actually having a constructive position/argument that can actually benefit the discussion and even help people see your point of view clearer? Sorry, this was clearly the wrong word to use. I should have used a different word other than "brainwashed", because I did not mean brainwashed in a classical sense. Let's use the word blind instead. Any one of us can be blind on any particular thing, while not be blind in general (as in classic sense with a cult). I was trying to say that the sources from which these people get information from and feeds certain narratives played the role in the forming of the biases that cloud their vision- not actualized forum itself, because this is a place where we discuss things and I seen people share different points of views. Also, don't forget that I mentioned that the same goes for Trump supporters, who cannot list any good things that Biden has done. If brainwashed is not the right word, then being blind due to being clouded by super bias is. This applies to both sides of the spectrum.

You keep using the word "devil" as Leo does, and Leo also keeps saying that he is biased towards the truth, and you are saying you are not parroting him? Trump has already been a president for 4 years. Why don't you mention the actual things that he did during his presidency that makes him a devil? I am talking about actual policies and actions - not some pseudo stuff. You are not the only one that thinks you are biased towards truth - there are many people who think that they do, but in actuality is that really the case? If you (or anyone) that is not not able to find good things that Trump has done during his presidency (same as for Biden) means that you are brainwashed, is it that hard to understand?

As Leo has taught you, the notions of good and evil are very relative. Some of those that hate Biden also view him as evil, you see? I doubt you actually watched Owen's videos, because there he goes quite deep on the culture war and individualism vs collectivism and how it's related to what has happened over the last years or so. Instead of parroting Leo as you did with the last sentence, actually try to view things objectively without attachment. It's very easy to place labels of "good", "evil", etc, but actual critical thinking requires a lot of energy. What I love about Owen, is that he as a teacher and also in these videos states that he doesn't care weather you are team red/blue hate/love trump, etc. He sees balance in both collectivism, individualism and has friends that are both on the left and the right. If you cannot find at least few good things in any individual (not just Trump, Biden, etc), it means you are clearly biased and are probably brainwashed if it comes to politics. This applies to both sides.

@Leo Gura I find Owen's take to be a lot more deep, balanced and objective than yours on this one. I doubt that you watched his videos, because in them he actually does state that Trump has all hallmarks of NPD and he is no saint, etc. Not to mention that he has a lot of connections with people who have high positions in the government (his claim) and he also networks in their circles. Why don't you actually watch this and tell us what you think? This one was released few hours ago.

Have you even bothered to listen to the podcast? They don't demonize the psychedelics and Artem mentioned that after self-realization, he was very sensitive to psychedelics at one point, where a hit of THC would be like a DMT trip. And only after enlightenment they stopped having any kinds of effects on him. I think it's a big red flag when a teacher puts down other teachers, thinks he is superior to others and thinks he is more conscious/aware than others. This is a clear example of ego overdrive on display and I am surprised that nobody bothers to call you out on this. Since you were the one that taught non-duality for years and swore it was the ultimate truth - I think it's a must that you release an in-depth video to present your thesis and expose the "non-dual rat logic" . Like I said, you have false image of what "enlightened" person is supposed to be, how they are supposed to live their lives, etc. First of all, his relationship with his wife is only between him and his wife. And second of all, it is none of our business with who he sleeps with, unless if those he sleeps with report abuse, rape, etc. He has been a teacher of 20+ years and if he happen to have cheated this time, this does not take away anything from the teachings. The problem is you and many others expect perfection out of these teachers - when they are a human and are capable of making mistakes just like all of us are. They are ordinary people - not some superhumans that you expect them to be. What he does in his private life is just his business - none of our business imo.

You don't know weather he used his power or not. Based from rumors (and there is no proof), it was consensual between two parties. So far, there have not been any reports of him abusing the women he sleeps with, etc. There is a difference between raping someone, sleeping with them and abusing them, and just having a consensual intercourse. A lot of the girls that attend his retreat are the so called "free hippies", who don't mind having multiple partners, hooking up, etc if connection is there. They are more liberal when it comes to sex in general - opposite of religious people. Given these factors, the chances of this happening are extremely huge. I think you have a false image and expectations of non-dual teachers. They are not some saints, or monks, nor they are obligated to be. They are human just like you are - they sleep, eat, shit, and fuck. No amount of spirituality can override biology - that is as long as your testosterone /libido is still at the normal levels

Again, that's not what you said nor in the video did it say anywhere that it is the ideal woman. You made a correlation with how she looked in those pictures in the first 5 seconds of the video with stage red attributes, and other labels. And justified it with pattern recognition, your vast experience, etc. Rated her 0/10 but you say you are not being judgemental? How is what I said in regards that she is a human being "idealism"? It is a basic fundamental that she is a human being who you know nothing about and never interacted before. Read again what you wrote - you were not talking about probabilities. You saw a picture of a person you never met before, and based off style and facial expressions determined she was stage red, as you called her nightmare being of a human. This is definition of being judgemental, and projecting. Based off what you wrote so far, I will make my own judgement about you: You think you're smarter than you actually are or classic Dunning–Kruger effect (I am not saying you're not smart or to put you down), where you overestimate your abilities and disregard basic common sense fundamentals. Style and facial expressions led you to draw this conclusion? And you believe that certain aesthetic always correlates with a specific mental state? I can't believe what i am reading, really. What you are saying goes against actually some of the principles of this community - being open-minded, non judgemental, etc. Sounds like a lot of projection to me - perhaps you have had some negative experience in the past that leads you to project so much about girls who look specific way.

That's why I think it's a must that @Leo Gura must make a video to address this - because there are many serious issues with this. If non-duality is rat logic as he describes and people are just brainwashed with it - then he has to take responsibility for misleading and brainwashing the people for all those years that he has been teaching them non-duality. In fact, if he is serious about what he said in this thread, apologizing for leading people in the wrong direction would also go along way and not just saying that his "view" has evolved.

How can you make a judgement and assumption like that about a person, given that you don't know her, nor have ever encountered in life, just based on a picture alone? To say someone is "stage red", lower emotional primitive reasoning" and "nightmare human being" off a picture alone just doesn't sound right.

You are acting like he murdered or raped someone? Why does it matter who he chooses to sleep with, and weather he is in a relationship or not? It in no way devalues what he teaches imo. The problem is you have an illusory image in your head of how enlightened person is supposed to act and live their life. You can not override your biology with spirituality, religion etc, this has been proven over and over again.

I find it hilarious that you guys think that so called enlightened people are not capable of cheating. What makes you think so? Non-duality/spirituality does not transcend your biological drive in any way. As any other guru, he has the possibility to sleep with many women. Who he sleeps with or doesn't should also not be any of your business. It is his choice, and as long as it was consensual, I don't see how it is relevant.
