Yes it can be EXTREMELY intrusive for better or worse But once you disidenitify with the self and thought. It becomes a God power God becomes obsessed with awakening. And will stop at nothing to achieve it.

So when it comes to pyschdelics in a sense im obsessed with killing the ego, becoming concious, and total understanding of reality.

So you have OCD (Obessive Compulsive) Then there's OCD without the C just (Obsessive) It manifests purely through thought. For example you could Obsess over a metaphysical fact about reality or why a guitar chord sounds the way it does. You're not obsessed with doing actions, youre obsessed with understanding, results, thought patterns and conclusions. The compulsion is your obsessive fixation. It also doesnt need to be a string or slew of thoughts. You could just have a the same thought giving weight.

Im not quite sure what you're asking. If you rephrase I could answer. But my deepest compulsion and desire is realizing im completely alone / solipsism at the deepest level. I became God concious at 19 and the entire reality and sense of other completely vanished.

Id say all of these issues are 2nd order to the first order issue of misunderstanding conciousness. If you get conciousness right you get everything else right.

This feels more like validation then ocd. A desire for approval instead psychological certainty.

I have pure Ocd (No Compulsions) and have tripped over 100 times. Ive done Dmt, Lsd, Shrooms, mdma, and salvia. OCD is like this constant beam of focus and obsession towards having a perfect metaphysical and epistemic understanding. Like @Inliytened1 its doubt, i have must have pure certainty and understanding of whats absolutely true. And eliminating that doubt with more and more conciousness is the methodology. But the doubt eventually comes full circle and eats its own tail into Absolute Truth / Certainty / Being The one thing you can not doubt is your own being which is Absolute. You basically doubt the ego to death

It absolutely is abuse. My mom would force us to go to church and scold and guilt us when we wouldn't. Most children's minds are just going to conform to whats being taught in church without any proper epistemic framework. Not everyone would of have been like me questioning the ten commandments and moral relativism in the Bible at grade school age. To really understand how this is abuse you truly have to understand the metaphysical and epistmological positions that Christianity takes on and how it is devilry as a smoke screen. Taking your child to church for them learn devilry disguised as Truth
