Thanks, but honestly I'm good where I am at today. Not that I couldn't get a girlfriend. I just prefer this sovereignty over that. Maybe it will change someday though, but who knows with the future anyways.

Emphasis on the BRICK. I remember the most random, sober night. Going about mine like a good little boy when a firm, authoritative voice in my head gave instructions. Drink water, lay down, put on music. Then BRICK BRICK BRICK of God or something being like WHATCHA DOIN? WAKE UP! Here have this peak experience it's on me. NOW WAKEEE UPPPP! Never consented to this.. b-but here I am! I guess.. thanks for the bricks? -
Tsk tsk, how to sniff out the match you're looking for eh. So, it is 100% discernment? You're idyllic lake advertised on a water bottle levels of crystal clear on what qualities you're looking for? Or are there doubts there too? How do you try to assess people? Are you very analytical with it or do you more so just let the intuition go craaaazy? Or perhaps, something else?

Weirdly resonates, Feels like I've made the progress I've made by accident. I was just trauma healing.. but as I cleaned up, the more receptive I became. Granted I'm still very half baked. But like bread in an oven, WE RISING. Truly have a sense this process will continue irregardless of any kicks and screams of protest. -
Thou shalt wager a guess! It's somewhere.. it's somewhere in the middle. I mean Emerald's out here making content on this stuff.. so of course, people interested in said content swim on in. And it's hard not to have perception skewed with that level of access! You're on the opposite end of the spectrum. As in, you could go through your in-person life not brushing shoulders with anyone on your level.. or at least? Not being aware that you did. Cause yanno.. When my colleagues / existing family ask me what I did on the weekend and I reply 'meditated, float tank, consciousness work, mindfulness, dog' etc the conversation DIES. I just don't really talk much to others as this topic kills the conversation. This response KILLS trying, because most of the time. It doesn't work! Same is happening to other people out there like you, they're shuttin up n laying low. But they're still out there, God knows where. Just sort of.. Invisible. There's also- Well. There's different depths to the game Maybe the folks you're meeting at the spiritual groups just aren't as far in as you. I mean I'm not quite sure what you're looking for! But seems like it could be a case of you being like let's go free diving in the ocean, bitchesss. But they're still getting used to wadin around in the kiddie pool There's always gonna be a blob of beginners that have to be filtered through

PFF nahhh this has me snickering too hard for some reason, *chef's kiss* magnifique. -
@Emerald I have nothing crazy to add, just wanting to say those are some good points! I do see what you're saying and the value more now. Think I just got too lost in the sauce of my personal preference. There can be depth on many levels that I don't presently appreciate.

Are you sure that human beings are shallow? Or is it just that you fail to recognize the depth? Can it be both? I think it can be both. I think the superficial layer humans carry around can be quite shallow. After years of observing humans and talking to them, I feel most are playing a social mimicry. And so was I unconsciously! People seem to organize themselves fairly predictably around social bubbles. From these social bubbles.. they adopt ways of thinking, dressing, making a living, seeing the world. They become stereotypes of each other with some variation. Their bubble imposes limits on them which I know I will pass. It isn't very original. So, I don't get much from socializing with someone on the street for the sake of socializing. I'll pick up on their script and it'll feel like I'm just communicating in clichés and their bubble lingo back to them. Do think there's more depth in underlying the structures behind people though. The ones they're not really aware of. It is more of a puzzle, a mystery. One can think of many questions to ask! Why are people social thinkers? How does thinking change when people are in big groups? How do groups interact and fight with each other? For now, it is still interesting to me. And Leo is right, most aren't consciously aware of eeehh "spiritual things" or have a highly distorted version. Which is a different can of worms. At the end of the day it doesn't matter much. Be interested what you're interested in.

Perfect, no need for fresh ones though. I have cupboards full of my tears stored in tupperware that we can use!

On a more serious note, that's one point you can personally find lots of value in! But it ain't the only game in town spending lots of time with others is not a fit for everyone.

I am become ESTJ, worker of offices, creator of spreadsheets. I kissed God at the office water cooler. And God kissed me back.

Yess Jordan touch that grass, yess Jordan have a fun time! It does actually sound like a grand time. All that time alone, no thoughts head empty, interesting things shall happen. But yes! You can hold both at the same time. It's how I process things.. holding the emotion.. be it anger, sadness, etc. While maintaining awareness. The emotion is there but you're not attached, you're able to observe and release it because it feels more separated from you! Removing distractions can be a great way ramp up your awareness levels. The emotions can more easily grip us in totality when we are busy/doing unconscious things. Hope it all goes well for ya! -
Damn it, I've been EXPOSED Need those snacks to cope with how naked and afraid I am right now.

Okay yeah that's a fair distinction! Then yes, by that definition it's very rare.

Okay that's fair! And perhaps you're right, difficult to say though. It may just end up making things worse in the end, a greater tyrant may come to power. Only time will tell but I do wish the best for them. -
Nah. Giving can be selfish. You can have an inflated sense of self when giving, you can give from your motives and not what's best for the person.

We should choose a country and seize power so we can have something like this is our respective cribs. -
This sounds like the ideal! And I would do the same! But it isn't necessarily what happens most of the time
-
BAHAHA It's too good. Too good.
