Not to say that what the guy on the video is doing is right or anything, but I want to bring a scenario here to deepen our understanding. Say he went into this relationship monogamous, full on just wanting one partner and all that. But then, as he discovered more about himself and what intimacy means he came to the conclusion that monogamy is not really his thing. So then he goes and talk to his wife about it, and after much thought she agrees to be poly with him. In the scenario above, was he manipulative in your perspective? Did he discovering what he actually wants mid relationship counts as being morally and ethically wrong? I just want to understand your view on this since you do make insightful posts

Based on what you say this?

The biggest realization of Luxury as a self-deception was Buddha's luxury life . One important aspect of luxury, is that it often comes with socialization and involvement with a collective. People want to show to others that they have luxury. They are needy as fuck, desperate for attention. If we evolve enough as a species, we will laugh as how could someone care so much about luxury and such things, when the real pleasure is within.

Eskilon replied to Carl-Richard's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
It is not a certain way, it is every way possible. The connection with emptiness is that because there's not boundary or distinction between anything, everything penetrates everything else. Everything is everything else. So it can never be a "certain" or a "particular", even though it appears so. The "thing" that is enabling all of this, is emptiness of everything. -

They do, this frame right here is timeless. -

@Carl-Richard Yesterday I said I understood your reply to me in another thread, but actually reflecting upon it and seeing this post I have some things to add here: As I see, the teaching of the world is Maya is a pointer to the spiritual seeker to turn inward, forget the world and ultimately realize Nothingness. But if we do a little bit of search and read around spiritual traditions, we see that there have been teachers that said that "Empitiness is form, form is empitiness". From my explorations, this is truthful, the distinction between Consciousness(the top of the pyramid) and the World(Maya) is a illusory distiction made only to direct the spiritual seeker towards the right direction. But in the end, this distinction doesn't actually exist, you could say it, in a way, it serves only to direct the seeker. When you are looking at forms(limits) you are actually looking at the entire of reality, this is what interconnectedness, and Indras-net means. So the forms are not really limited, it is infinite too. Every part is total, complete. And with this, you get the solipsism that Leo is talking about. There's only one total thing being reflected infinitely in every other part, it's YOU. -

Yes I understand. This topic is so nuanced and tricky, its like @Davino said earlier. I think even Leo's view might have changed since that video(Not fundamentally, but the various facets and implications that comes with it). Bottom line is: one should investigate this with caution, because it's where things get really scary and serious(initially). -

I mean, look at what the guy wrote before I wrote this. He is clearly not the least serious in understanding the topic. I trolled a little bit with him but he continued. Sorry if it came like a ego driven thing. -

Because of people like you Leo deleted his video, it`s too much for such minds. -

Why should I be against talking to myself, who is stoping me? Myself? lmao -
Eskilon replied to Loveeee's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Lmao, what else is there to do? Why do anything? You clearly don't understand solipsism, it's all good. -
Eskilon replied to Loveeee's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
More like showing who has a big meaty ego and needs to surrender than anything lol -
Eskilon replied to Loveeee's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Maybe because... It isn't the case. Consciousness being completely subjective and alone is more beautiful, more profound, and more loving than if it were a collective. -
Eskilon replied to Loveeee's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
No, the only thing that exists is subjectivity. I exist. -
Eskilon replied to Loveeee's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Myself, stop arguing with myself for myself sake😂 -
Eskilon replied to Loveeee's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Only the most basic and futile definition. God could subdivide itself infinitely, and grant senscience to a part of itself. But at the rock bottom it is you, this subdivision of consciousness is a play that YOU are doing. I think people should really contemplate Infinity of gods video lol. And the implications of what an Indra's net mean. -

@Sugarcoat it's such a mindfuck of a view. But it makes perfect sense, its all good. You cannot ever escape being, you are always inside yourself. -
Eskilon replied to Loveeee's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
There's multiple ways of saying that the absolute is, if you are the only thing that exist, you are completly alone. Therefore solipsism. If the lower self doesn't exist, so does the higher self. Everything must exist. If it's all absolute, it's all you, this reply is you lol. Solipsism is inevitable. The ego doesn't like to hear it. -
Eskilon replied to Loveeee's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
The highest form is absolute solipsism, only YOU exist, not the ego you. But see, this distinction is way more trickier than it seems, the higher and lower self is not really separated from consciousness point of view. So in a sense, you right now as you watch this reply is the only thing that exist. As I see the only thing that exist is the SELF, Brahman, whatever you want to call it. But your ego is also absolute, it's tricky explaining. I think this is what Leo tried explaining in the infinity of gods video. Solipsism is one of the trickiest riddles for sure. I think to try to get your head around is to really grasp what a strange-loop is, you right now is the only thing that exist, and at the same time it isn't. -
Eskilon replied to Loveeee's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
The only reason you feel you have an "independent experience" is because your state of consciousness is not very high. Claims about solipisism are claims made when you are incredible conscious. -
Eskilon replied to Loveeee's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Well, yeah, the mistake is to dismiss it and call it bullshit when you actually dindn't do the work. One need to be honest and open to the idea that it might actually be the case, because it has been talked about by various sages and cultures. But, it might no be your reality yet, so honesty is the first step. -
Eskilon replied to Loveeee's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
But why you need to believe it or not? Why not stay open-minded and investigate if it is the case or not? After all, some people that you know claim it is true, that should ring some bells in you, at least in my opinion. -

Fantasies are very powerful, they might even be better than the actual thing. So I dont judge this person lol. -

Oh my bad, I didnt pay attention that you used the word believe. But I don't think you need to believe anything to get rid of that fear, even if you are not awake. Just remind yourself that death might be the next second, and that every worry is kinda silly. One should keep death very close, because its the only thing that is certain.
