Because Death exists. All impact is ultimately meaningless. The point of life is to enjoy whatever you enjoy doing, wheter you enjoy having an impact on humanity or not is irrelevant. Do whatever you enjoy doing is what matters. Some people want a lot of money and status and thats okay, but others do not. No one option is superior than the other because Death exist. Whatever your impact is it wont persist because everything changes, so dont kid yourself thinking youre too important or more important than others because you choose to be a CEO or something. Do whatever you enjoy. Life is a play, nothing is really important as people tell you.

I guess the final answer is that our ego is absolutely inevitable. God didn't choose this in a particular sense, it just need to happen no matter what. Every finitude must exist exactly as it is. Another way of saying is that God cant prevent itself from being limited. -
You play figthing games competitively?

Yes, I can see that. But you said being finite is more valuable than being infinite --- I don't think this is necessarily true. If reality is infinite, as far as I can tell right now, it is a mystery on why it drops out of infinite state to the finite. You can say to know, but if it were infinite in the first place it already knew, why did it forget??? To know again?? -

This makes no sense. The whole Buddhism idea is to stop hoping from body to body and be in bliss forever. I am not saying necessarily that Buddhism is true, but it does make more sense than what you said(no offense). -

But why, why would GOD trade infinite orgasm for a human life? -

How can I do it while in the wake state? Is that the realm of siddhis? The reason we taling heads can`t realize our desires in an instant is because this is not supposed to happen in this reality? And the reason that is not supposed to happen is because this current configuration of reality must exist the way it does as part of absolute infinity(every possibility)? -

So you did experience the power of creating planets, galaxies and universes?? And then dropped out of it? You were functionally all knowing and intelligent ? You knew every language that existed, exists and will exists? -

@LastThursday By that logic non-existence exists because it is the opposite of existence. But that is false, only existence exists, theres no contrast even though it appears so because we are using language. Consciousness and intelligence seems to be fused together so theres nothing that is unintelligent if reality is consciousness. -

I makes sense too. But my view now is that there's not really anything unintelligent, just less intelligent but still intelligent. Intelligence seems to be always present, the question is only about "how much". -

This is a good take. But I don't think intelligence is limited to coherence. It must include absolute decoherence. Total chaos must be there. -

@Joshe I think this is the topic of omniscience. People say they do know everything, but not every micro thing. They claim omniscience is mostly a macro understanding, not a micro one. So I don't think they will magically solve any equation or know all the languages in the world fluently. But this puzzling because to me ominiscience includes both the macro AND the micro. But what do I know... Never experienced so I cant comment. -

I see. I want to merge. I will work on this. -

You are right, that's a jump. I still dont know that. Beautifully put. I think conciousness and intelligence is a marriage made in heaven, they can't be put apart. Although consciouness(if it is existence) is the only thing that seems to survive all conditions. Even the condition where theres no intelligence. I still need to realize most of the stuff talked here, some I understand intelectually but not at the undeniable level, which I think is at the level of being. -

Me? Its true that I cant find myself in any specific place, but that realization is not profound yet like the recognition in a dream... -
Eskilon replied to Eskilon's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
That's the thing, I can see that there's no difference between my life and my dreams at night. However, this is not at the level of knowing, its at the level of the intellect, it makes sense, but is not undeniable beyond a shadow of doubt. When you suddenly become lucid at your nightly dreams theres a deep, deep knowing that that shit isnt real, its not at the level of thinking or making sense, you just know and it is undeniable(and also only you know no other dream character know, they will even act scared if you tell them lol). I havent been able to do this with this dream(life) yet, if it is indeed a dream... -

Good analogy, it makes sense. -

You cant have an on without an off. This makes sense. That's why death is impossible looking at it this way, at least logically this makes sense. -
Eskilon replied to Eskilon's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
But as soon as doing begins that needs intelligence. Consciousness can just be empty being there, but doing requires a type of knowing which needs intelligence. -
Eskilon replied to Eskilon's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
If it allows that it needs intelligence. -
Eskilon replied to Eskilon's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
To be conscious of that requires intelligence no? Its magic. -
Eskilon replied to Eskilon's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
yeah that's what I was thinking too, they cant really be separate. As soon as you have any type of recognition that is intelligence at play. Though you can have zero intelligence which I think would be deep sleep. So consciousness can exist without intelligence, because existence exists by definition. -
Eskilon replied to Eskilon's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Interesting. But in the "should be done" part, that requires knowing which requires intelligence. You can't have knowing without intelligence I dont think. -
Bro, that shit is cursed as fuck
