I wanna have a successful life. i want to achieve some big things and want to be proud of some accomplishments I wanna be no1 in the world in 1 field I am interested in and do alright in another field

For me mastery means There are a lot of principles in the book mastery by George leoanrd. Those principles are mentioned here and there . Each chapter has a lot of principles. 50-100+ principles. I need to live my life based on those principles Since mastery has 50+ principles, and I wanna live by it, it's hard to live by another system. It's hard to add principles from another book on top of it. As I am already living by 50+ principles from mastery So I find it hard to add success principles on top of mastery. Also the principles in mastery and success principles contradict each other

How good is it. Is it as good as mastery

It's hard to trust leo on some things Where does he get the idea that "mastery is the greatest self improvement book of all time" Poor old me believed in this shit. Now I am in a good place and is skeptical of some of his takes and ideas. Leo is not a special or unique snow flake. He make mistakes. He is a human with fantastic marketing.

I am not sure whether mastery is the best. Only leo recommend mastery. All the legends who are experts on success, never mention mastery. You never hear them recommending mastery. Leo is not an expert on success Idk man. I am doubting myself. Idk how much benificial mastery really is

@Jacob Morres how do I mix mastery and success principles At many places, those 2 books contradict each other
-
@Joseph Maynor ok. Need to check that out
-
@Jacob Morres i have trouble choosing between success principles and mastery. What do I do Which is better

Ramit Sethi the guy who wrote i will teach you to be rich , is he a good source for learning about money

bob proctor read think and grow rich everyday for 60 years , he studied self improvment for 60 years jack canfield studied how to get from where you are to where you want to be , for 55 years , and read 3000 books brian tracy read books for 3 hours a day and read 6000 books these are legendary people. a self improvment junkie can go to them and learn things
-
self improvment is a new field. first major book was think and grow rich by napoleon hill. when 7 habits of highly effective people came, it revolutionised self improvment. when david allen came with GTD , it revoutionised self improvment. the earliest self improvment idea was of benjamin franklin's 13 virtues. self improvment is a new field. it is still in its infancy . many legends came up with their system. still it is far from being perfect. would love to see more and more new ideas coming to self improvment.

some greate books and resources include 7 habits of highly effective people first things first by stephen covey getting things done by david allen success principles by jack canfield think and grow rich , and content on it by Bob proctor bob proctor cal newport franklin planner brian tracy

@Schizophonia you look like a chad
-
@Joshe yeah bro. some of his videos are good

What is so special about it. Why advantage does it have over other greate books. It is made by observing akido. What we do is knowledge work. Akido and knowledge work are 2 totally different things. In order to excel in knowledge work , you need a book that is made by observing knowledge work and not based on observing sports like Akido . Mastery by george leonard is not optimal for knowledge work Share your thoughts below

@Joseph Maynor thanks. need to check that out

7 habits is the greatest self improvment book of all time
-
@blackchair what is your IQ like. you need to be exceptional to reach turqoise and above
-
To be fair Leo has helped me immensly . But leo has also caused me a lot of harm . Its a mixed bag
-
@Joseph Maynor comments are turned off in your video. can you turn comments on in your youtube video. also are you an INTJ

leo is good for advanced stuff. like which is the most powerful meditation technique , problems of rationality , what is the purpose of life etc Leo sucks badly when it comes to practical things like, how to get a job , how to do well financially , how to get what you want etc etc
-
i agree that they are greate. when it comes to making money and being realistic , to get good result in life, better sources exist out there. there are people who are into self improvment from the 1960s and on. those who have 60 years of experience in self improvment. long before leo was born. giants , think tanks. if i had to do all over again , i would follow them. leo is good on advanced stuff. like enlightment , problems of rationality or things like that. leo sucks when it comes to simple things like making money , getting good in jobs
-
when it comes to making money and being realistic one should either choose stephen r covey school of self improvment or david allen school of self improvment those 2 are the only good schools of self improvment out there. americans can say anything they want. americans youtuber are getting payed to do drugs , while 3rd world people struggle if they follow their advice stephen r covey and david allen school of self improvment work no matter where you are located. they work here in india if i had to do all over again , i would chooose those 2 sources considering that i have 12 years of experience in self improvment.
