I definitely focus on what I want to see in the world and how I can contribute, this is precisely why I am starting this topic. I focus more on what I see and on what I want to create than on why Leo is the way he is, due to many reasons. time is one of them. I currently work a lot, as a software developer, I create tons of art, I produce my own music on a daily basis, and also live with my girlfriend, we get to have deep conversations about the nature of the world and why it is pretty pretty amazing just to be alive in the universe. Somedays I just lay in bed feeling the feeling of being alive and start to cry out of joy. I am infinite love. It is because I understand conceptually (to its limits) that I am this love, and experientially, directly, that I want to SHARE this understanding with the entire planet. I find this -not a community- a good steps towards the whole o mankind getting more and more loving. but I can't help it but to mention what amazes me the most. Again, infinite intelligence and infinite love are very very tightly related. and I know it is difficult to consider everything and by no means I am blaming nobody of how this is the way that it is. I think that we can still make it better as a whole. but it requires a mindful way of criticism and not just screaming at each other, or tough-love IMO. -

Good point. I think this year I lost a friend due to the stubborn mindset he had. I tried talking to him about consciousness, the unity of existence and the concept of truth itself. he just sort of attacked back at my arguments and dismissed the entire question I had made: "Is there an absolute truth?" and it got me thinking, the depth of the self-deception. the dude is nowadays a graduated physicist. he truly knows the math behind all of current physics, but in the epistemological domain, he gets confused so easily and tries to sweep under the rug the fact that axiomatic systems like the whole of what he uses to map the world, have nothing to do with the gaps in math itself, only because physics "maps to reality", and if the model is wrong, we update it to what reality tells us. Having said this, I also found out that, I found myself trying to get him to understand my points about the nature of the universe from a non-dual perspective, but he started demanding PROOFs and LOGIC!!! even when there was no proof or logic behind the current assumptions of the current physics models. I feel very sad for him, his intellectual pursuits are taking him very far in the technical domain, but also very far away from spirituality. he believes he is his body and that there is almost no space between each thought. and that humanity is not special, like "some of use want to believe" anyways, I think that being in a tough-love situation was the initial mode of thinking and behaving that gave rise to the materialistic mindset, and that by reproducing it, it can only create more materialistic-like mindsets... what do you think, Tuku 747? -

It can be! I mean, it is. It is also part of his style to take into account infinite imagination. which comes to a surprise that when having infinite imagination at your disposal, you may not use it to your advantage when it comes to maximize the amount of love in each communication. What do you think about that? -

Hey Tristan!!! I hope this words can get to you. a couple of minutes ago I was having a discussion with a friend, in which I found that I can let my mind wander to whatever it wants to wander, and still not identify with whatever comes as an appearance within it. this may sound abstract, but some of the practical implications are that it allowed my self to not worry about what I was worrying about, and instead just observe for whatever time it need to think the thoughts. and then going on about my day without having to react or interact with the idea I had. this sense of knowing that I am the one knowing my thoughts instead of my thoughts, allowed me to stop a vicious negative thinking cycle. not by trying to think any better thoughts, but by recontextualizing that I am the I am, the observer, and not what is observed. it might resonate or might not. what are your thoughts on this thoughts ? -
Hi! a newbie here, I’ve spent countless hours since 2021 watching and contemplating Leo’s YouTube content, which has inspired me to gather the courage to engage here. Reading through this discussion has deepened my understanding that the mainstream mindset of neutrality in situations of conflict often falls short. It’s not always appropriate to remain neutral when examining such events; instead, it’s crucial to take the time to thoroughly analyze the underlying causes and context of what’s happening. The Russia-Ukraine conflict, this serves as a clear example where neutrality doesn’t suffice. It’s misguided to frame this war as simply the result of “two differing perspectives” or an inevitable clash of ideologies. The reality is much starker: Russia has committed war crimes, violated international agreements, and invaded a sovereign nation. Ukraine cannot and should not be treated as equally culpable in this scenario. Furthermore, Vladimir Putin’s actions reflect not only a deep level of unconsciousness and greed but also a dangerous, shortsighted, and childish grasp of leadership. His behavior is the root cause of this tragedy. Given this, I firmly believe that other nations have a moral obligation to intervene on Ukraine’s behalf. Moreover, countries that have openly supported Russia’s aggression—such as North Korea and Venezuela—should also face consequences for enabling such destructive behavior. Justice demands not only that we support Ukraine but also that we hold complicit nations accountable for perpetuating this injustice.

PolyPeter replied to Some dude on the net's topic in Intellectual Stuff: Philosophy, Science, Technology
In the long run, this only means you will be further and further away from truth. I think that you don't fully grasp what truth means. Do you mind sharing why it is not the most important thing? (it is not a thing) -

Hey. I am just starting to learn about this Sastre dude. And I am struggling to understand how this is not itself an absolute truth, let me explain my observation. The absolute, as an idea, can be questioned, and it can lead to at least the following 1: There is an absolute. 2: There is not an absolute. If 1 is the case, then you have access to this absolute, and at least one way to verify it. If 2 is the case, then you are already at the absolute. Because saying that There cannot be an absolute, is itself an absolute!!!!!!! In my experience, it is always "safer" to deny the absolute in favor of relativism. Because you can never know!!! what can you possibly understand a as tiny human being...?? probably not much... On the other hand, if you as a human, manage to expand your consciousness and become infinite, then it is absolutely obvious that there is an absolute. Formless. Cosmic. I don't think anyone that "rejected absolute truths and ideologies" would ever be openminded enough to understand what Truth entails. I don't think Sastre or Schopenhauer have any idea of what a psychedelic insight like the ones Leo talks about might look like. It seems like old philosophers like these, cannot come close to the depth of a true Awakening into the nature of reality. -
Hi! I find this topic fascinating. Yes I would definitely enhance both my Mind and Body through technology, and to some extent I am already doing it, by wearing glasses or using the Internet, Psychedelics, Music, and Mathematics. I don't see a limit to what I would not enhance if necessary and possible. Two examples: If in an accident I loose my leg, and there is a cyber-leg in the market, I would try my best to buy it and have it installed. If Neuralink became publicly available I would ditch my smartphone immediately and have it put in my skull. I could think my way to the internet, and not have to use my hands to code anymore! Here is a video of what has become recently possible. Imagine this technology evolving in a few years from now. What do you mean by fairness here? I don't really think there is anything objectively "fear" in reality. When new valuable technology becomes available, people starts to use it, it has always been the case. No matter the price.

Hello everyone! I'm curious on your thoughts about this new advancements. It's legit! How long until we can communicate with our thoughts to a chatbot through this device?
