  1. When i do big posts like this one yes i generally first of all write it in french then i translate it with google traduction; I have a high level of vocabulary in french that i dont have in english so it's simpler like that. I just check the eventual errors in the post before posting it.
  2. Those are my words, I don't know why you say that lol. Maybe because I usually write directly in English, whereas here I wrote this first in French. But not even that, actually.
  3. If it comes from shadow.
  4. Cool excerpt. By Transcendental Ego it basically means higher self isn't it ?
  5. Half an hour is little. You have a good coffee and a few cigarettes (for me πŸ‘Ί), you take your time, you let yourself go with the flow of writing, you correct/change when you find a better way to say what you want to say in a certain place... And two hours later, you can show off on Actualized with your new topic.
  6. Sometimes i want to propose something simple, and sometime something in a more complexe or detailed form; Just like food lol. It's a matter of taste πŸ€” I think this kind of detailed form has the advantage to offer more exemples, pov to cling to understand the proposed mecanisms for people who are too strangers to the topic discussed.
  7. To remind ourselves that it's not good to be fat and ugly, because we've registered that it's socially dangerous and we absolutely don't want to go there. It's probably stronger in people with certain traumas, an authoritarian upbringing or something like that. πŸ€”
  8. @Princess Arabia @Hojo I trolled sugarcoat it’s handwritten.
  9. Ok but It only works if you think to me.πŸ€” Me too, but this wasn't what I wanted here.
  10. "Others are projections of ourselves." "Basically at a time t we either "know" what something is, or we experience that something." "theleelajoker is lazy and shoud put til tok"
  11. Jokes asides it's actually easier that you think. At first, you don't really know what you're going to write, and then, with a little effort, the flow comes. It requires a little work, but not that much. It probably took me about one to two hours of consecutive work; and it could be more precise or simply clean.
  12. No it's chatGPT. I was masturbating when i hit that it was been a long time i didn't do a long and complexe topic to seeming very very smart. So i asked him "hey dude, i'm too brainroted by youtube shorts and heavy metal to write 3 corrects sentances, can you write me a random post about concioussness so i can show off on Actualized about my big and large intelligence". And that's how this post was born. πŸ€”
  13. Yes, responding is maintaining the language.
  14. Anti-vegans are actually the ones who hate themselves the most, hence the argument "death and suffering are part of life, it's normal." Pro-vegans are actually the most selfish; rather than giving value to the object (the "it"; the taste of meat, the convenience, etc.), they give it to themselves (I'm ethical, I eat like this because it makes me someone who isn't a hypocrite, I'm saving the planet, etc). Mirroir effect 101 πŸ‘€
  15. Actually many people have more empathy for pets than for humans. Because their use value is exclusively as pleasant companionship, whereas humans are competitors, people who have induced trauma in us, and generally more important mirrors of our shadow. Otherwise, a more complex and ambivalent relationship with "humans" than with "pets" in general, which can condition a lower level of empathy.
  16. I meant that use value determine the relationship to objects. A carrot or a chicken, even though they are very different by nature, technically a bigger difference that between a human and an animal indeed, have a similar type of use that will condition a weak empathy relationship. Vice versa for humans.
  17. Use value. As with the difference between domestic and farm animals. You don't want to kill/eat a cat because your brain has learned to classify them as "company." But an ox will never be your company, so it's obvious to keep them in the "food" category. A carrot and a chicken have the commonality that they will intuitively be categorized as "food," while a human will be categorized as "comrade," and the law will be there to protect them if it turns out you're a sociopath, if you want to put them in another category that threatens their survival. There are actually still tribes that eat humans btw, and plenty of people willing to kill other humans for whatever reason.
  18. Ethics is fundamentally a delusion; only power relations are tangible phenomena. Women are protected because they or their loved ones pay taxes, because the community has a pragmatic interest in ensuring their survival and well-being. There is a social contract.
  19. No, because you have a genetic predisposition to be empathetic towards other humans, not particularly other animals, unless they more or less look humanoid. And human beings are part of a social contract for certain reasons, so if you kill another human being, you'll be put in prison.
  20. I must be the most masculine man ever so. Jk.
