  1. When I take a break from substances, my consciousness increases. It’s the inverse of what the human mind expects to be the right way to do things.
  2. @Vibes Thank you. I’m allowing myself to have an active role in my healing now, rather than having the drugs or trips do it all for me. Life begins to open up in this way, despite all challenges that come along with it. For example, I’ve been allowing myself to authentically express pain that’s been suppressed for over a decade. To do that, I first had to realize that I can’t let go of pain if I refuse to accept that pain to begin with.
  3. You’re assuming that you and her share the same meaning of what that cross represents.
  4. Whenever my intuition says it’s the appropriate time. Better to be in touch with what you need rather than going off a script or an expectation.
  5. I spontaneously hallucinate when I allow myself a break from them.
  6. Yes. It’s you authentically expressing yourself, rather than constantly suppressing.
  7. I recently connected with a trans woman. She is amazing; so far I feel connected to her. We’ll see how or where it goes.
  8. It’s interesting how the word “one” is one less letter from the word “none”. In any case, none of us here are Awake, and that is perfect because not any one of us can monopolize the Truth. It appears that there are multiple users on here sharing their experiences about what reality is, yet when you go deeper, you realize that it’s all ONE, with three capital letters.
  9. Remember when they said the world was gonna end in 2012? Remember when it didn’t?
  10. More than that - I realize that they are an aspect of myself that I choose to let go of. By doing so, I can deepen my capacity to love even further.
  11. In other words, the absolute is in all of those scenarios, and choosing one thing over another thing creates seperation. I personally identify as the cat… I’m very needy and can be a bitch when it comes to attention. That’s why I’m thankful to have busy people in my life to tame my expectations.
  12. That’s where radical acceptance comes into play. We run into a lot of trouble when we are constantly in survival mode; not allowing reality to present a different perspective. If you can allow your dream to be completely shattered, that will go a long way towards expanding your sense of self. It won’t be easy, though.
  13. I have trouble connecting with women as well. This is something I’m actively working on. Developing more manipulative techniques to seduce them works in the short-term. The long-term solution is understanding why I resist the love they give to me in the first place.
  14. Please don’t bow down to me; bow down to yourself. I am but a fragile soul looking at myself, just like you.
  15. @Schizophonia I was when I was like a baby, so I have no idea what it would be like to have foreskin.
  16. Have you noticed that making a distinction between the absolute and the relative is a duality? Making a distinction is not wrong, but it would be wise to see that there is no difference from a higher / deeper level.
  17. I’ve hurt people’s feelings this past month, people I truly care about. You will regret doing it. But please learn from your mistakes quickly so you break the cycle. Forgiveness and letting go is the next step, and not expecting or needing anything back in return.
  18. I’m personally circumcised and it doesn’t even bother me. Maybe there are also benefits to it. Seems to be less likely that I’ll get an infection in that area since it’s easier to clean?
  19. I thought I did something wrong this whole time. Damn, the mind is tricky! Clarity does go a long way.
  20. Having empathy and understanding for people with mental health conditions goes a long way. Drugs should be used responsibly, whether or not you have mental illness or not.
  21. When you stop caring about how reality should be, then you win. Nobody can stop you, because you’re the only player in town.
  22. I’ve done this. Looking back at the footage I look completely normal, just a bit confused. But during the actual experience… that’s a totally different story.
  23. I personally take medicinal high CBD oil nightly. If I miss my dose and take it the next night, I’m guaranteed to have a mystical experience. Everyone’s results will vary, of course. I personally like being a human, so I try not to miss my dose.
  24. Yes, humans have a limit to what they can be conscious of. It is possible to experience beyond human consciousness, though.
  25. I thought I was the only one who was that detail oriented
