  1. You can be so healthy, and the next day you get hit by a bus. Get it? You’re making it up! Means you can also stop ruining your life with pointless ideas such as dying from a car crash or losing your mind.
  2. If I am consciousness why do I __________________? You can literally will in the blank with anything. And the answer can be anything. That’s why it’s God!
  3. Can you please clarify this?
  4. @Hardkill Interesting how exactly what you just said can easily be applied to dating, “It’s not worth getting into an intimate relationship because most end up in separation, cheating, or divorce anyway and if you bother trying then you will just end up with major trust issues with future partners for the rest of your life after having a wealth of failed relationship experiences.”
  5. I’ve also had many therapists in my lifetime. I’m glad I’ve let go of my previous ones and am in a happy therapeutic relationship with the one I’m currently with. I’ve had a crap ton of cringe therapists.
  6. I’ve failed with more women than the amount of women Mick Jagger has slept with.
  7. I could also ask why this girl I like didn’t text me all day. What is the meaning of this?? It’s pissing me off, as we used to text every single day. It’s important for me to know, but like many things, are best to let go of needing to figure out. Maybe she is sleeping as I post this reply.
  8. @Thought Art what you shared connects with what Patrick Teahan also shared today. Let’s keep up the awareness and opening up, oh yeah.
  9. I actually was studying my body for a good 3-4 hours. Working on facing my body dysmorphia instead of avoiding myself. Holy shit was it a hardcore spiritual practice. I didn’t know how much I hated myself; how many flaws I was looking for to judge and needing to fix. I am learning to look at the mirror and not hate it.
  10. Let’s be honest, all of us have spoken like that even privately, even if it’s not specifically about Palestinians. Awareness of hatred deep within ourselves is key to letting go of it. The hate is not something outside of you. I’m embarrassed for talking harshly about all my flaws. Nobody cares but me.
  11. @koops whatever this enlightenment is, surely is unconditional. Reaching or grasping for enlightenment is like looking at a painting, yet asking to see the painting. You’re already looking at it!
  12. We tend to make a lot of assumptions about someone without really getting to know them; without being open to their perspective and how they view the world. I’m guilty of it as well. However, awareness and acknowledgement of this way of treating others definitely goes a long way.
  13. @Thought Art amen to that. I can relate to that a lot. Good to know I’m not alone in that, despite what others may claim is the opposite case. (replying to):
  14. When is the final exam? I need more time to study..
  15. Sounds like a publicity stunt, lol.
  16. @StarStruck to push a button and just do it implies that what you already are is separate and a wrong version of Love. I, too, feel this resistance towards Love. Yet even resistance itself is Love. Fully accepting yourself is not about getting rid of yourself, or your story, or denying what you perceive as wrong. No! It’s realizing Love in light of any and all conditions and states, including what I have already mentioned. You can deepen your love through this process. Don’t seek an end or a beginning; notice Love deepening and expanding even in your worst of times.
  17. Going on that second date with a girl you really like is also a form of dying. The stakes are much higher.
  18. My cannabis doctor points out that high dosages of CBD can interact with many other substances in the liver. So good idea to space it out if you take other substances that interact with it. I imagine most people prefer high THC with little CBD, so this pointer would not apply in that scenario. You’d be too high to care, anyway.
  19. @Davino That’s why context and broader information is important, and why we’re all here helping each other out
  20. I would argue that that can lead to many misunderstandings; used to justify one’s narrow worldview. Done more from selfishness and rigidity, rather than from authenticity; curiosity about one’s true nature. For example, those who cherry pick without considering context or broader information. It is possible to do what you’re pointing to from a more authentic foundation, but that would require letting go of a major aspect of yourself and delving fully into the unknown.
  21. I did not choose to have an imbalance of my right side compare to my left side Free choice: I am choosing to use the left side of my body more in day-to-day activity, despite it being uncomfortable and foreign. I can imagine a year from now that it’ll be much more intuitive if I stick with it. I don’t choose if this will actually be the case, but I choose to be open to the possibility.
  22. And make sure you’re not blindly following what other people say or tell you, as emphasized by the red highlight. Derive Truth from Truth. Red is the color red.
