Our understanding of gender identity is woefully poor. Case in point, it was only back in 2019 when the WHO stopped labeling transgender as a mental illness https://news.un.org/en/story/2019/05/1039531

Try talking to one girl for 1000 days. That’s the real test!

@BojackHorseman there are apparently psychologists who help people with video game addiction https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/therapists?category=video-game-addiction

Lock yourself in a room and take psychedelics

There are things that I really wanted to be able to do in the past, but looking back now I’m glad I didn’t achieve those dreams. For example, being a YouTube celebrity was a childhood dream of mine back in like 2009. But now look at how social media has evolved since then… I’m glad I actually didn’t wind up as successful and huge as someone like Mr. Beast… it’s a lot of pressure to maintain that.

Would you trust a chess player who has played 10 games or 1000 games?

Man, I’d love to be able to go back in time and explore my gender identity instead of being indoctrinated with conservative religious ideology. Why is it okay to brainwash kids with religion? I acted gay in kindergarten, and my religious teacher punished me for it. Anyway, the school ironically shut down a few years after I graduated, so… ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Very cool! 24 is when I first did psychedelics. Totally changed my life for the better.

“Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. “But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you” -Matthew 5:43–44

Beautiful. I remember when I first learned to ride a bike, after falling and failing many times… but once I figured it out it just clicked and made sense instantaneously!

I think keto has its place, but it’s not for everyone. I had an uncle who was getting severely overweight; keto diet was able to help him lose the pounds. I don’t think he is on keto anymore, but I can’t deny that it did help him get out of a rut.

If I’m not mistaken, there used to be a way to do that on this forum. I recall a thread made by @Leo Gura a long time ago explaining how to customize your forum experience by doing this. I no longer see that thread, so I assume Leo disabled that feature.

I’ve read he donates a lotta money to Scientology and his advice angers a lot of mainstream doctors for being misinformation. With that said, I think it’s important to extract the helpful information from any source and, like you said, listen to different viewpoints. Be open to your ideas evolving over time and not getting stuck in any one of them.

I used to travel frequently a lot, but with family… and to do family things. So it wasn’t really something I did for myself. I think it really depends on what purpose you travel for and who you bring along with you.

Why not do kriya yoga simply because you enjoy it?
