I find that people who are so wrapped up in groupthink and ideology to be cringe. I still identify with certain groups, but I do my best to think for myself.

You make a good point about the 3 weeks. However, learning is a lifelong skill, so seeking a mentor is a long-term investment into yourself.

Having difficult trips and still wanting to go back there regardless is a sign of strength. It may seem like you took a wrong turn, but in the bigger picture it was necessary for your growth.

You may not be able to choose to be in an abusive environment, but you do have the power to leave that situation. Find that power within you.

That is a nice grounding technique. One may assume that it is just tricking yourself with thoughts, therefore it is a distraction. However, using this as an opportunity to become aware of what thoughts actually are to begin with is what will change your perspective.

What is the good life? Simply ask yourself the opposite question.

@Manusia I have the opposite issue - repressing much of my femininity. Life will present you when it’s time for change. And it’s never too late to explore.

@Bazooka Jesus it’s crazy how something seemingly uncomfortable (e.g. hell or demons) can be recontextualized to be calming and full of playful feelings!
