@bebotalk a brief summary for you in case you forgot : https://www.actualized.org/forum/topic/7-guidelines/ #1 Rule: Don't Be A Jerk Speak to people with respect. Be conscious and nice. Be ware that this forum is not a free-speech zone. Unlike some places on the internet, this forum is strictly moderated to keep it high-quality. Not only do we enforce basic anti-trolling guidelines, we go further to enforce quality of posting. If you repeatedly post low-quality stuff, disinformation, or ignorance, you will be banned without warning. What determines "high-quality" posting is, of course, subjective. Nevertheless, discriminations must be made to ensure high-quality. his is not a free-speech zone and we will definitely "censor" you and ban you if your presence here drags down the overall quality of the forum. If we see you repeatedly acting from ego with no self-awareness or ability to restrain yourself, you will be banned. This community is a privilege, not a right! If you fail to behave in a courteous, civil, and ethical manner, you will be kicked out! So @bebotalk Tell me exactly is I had done some of the things above. Or in what way my original post that you derailed into something of a sort of personal attack on my lack of good english (that is not my Mother Language) and in what way I gave you any reason to treat me the way you are not only in this post but in another one that was closed because you just kept trolling around. When I post something I do it in the best intentions possible, I dont assume I am the wiser know-it-all person here. When I post something is to listen other points of view. But if your aim is just to make short critics and not adding at least a bit of good in the original text, so please whenever you see oe post with Rafael Thundercat just leave it alone. I do it with many topics here that I feel are not of my interest. I if i feel any inclination to enter just to have fun and mock people I double check my intention and refuse to write something just to show like Shrek Donkey " Hey, hey loo at me look at me " ... So again. If the post dont matter to you, pass by and ignore me. -

When I say that sometime I get sad that some members here seem to direct the topics always to the Absolutist perspective I mean what Leo say at 1:09:03 of the video below My Political Awakening https://www.actualized.org/insights/my-political-awakening Of course that from the Absolute perspective dosent matter if the world just end in a big cataclism and we have a war of whatever. But from another perspective why not get intelligent and use you life to a greated good, not only what is good for you but on long run. -
All i find around the topic online is super confuse and bias. I think this topic is important as is the topic of understaning Capitalism.

I would love moderators to block this thread, since Homer Simpson is just simply using the space to vent out his rigth to speak like and idiot and call it freedom of speech. for me this topic is over. Trully is sad that this Forum keep allowing this kids to turn this into something very similar to Reddit. -

Ops I had realized that actually Leo already made a video on Postmodernism -
I always remember one sentence from Leo video on Solopsism where he say " Everyone is already Solopsistic" And this video is about it. From each one point of view all is ultimately about them. Of course not about the Infinite Being but the Character they are. What about me? Me too. is me me me me me Why We're So Self-Obsessed
-
Well, sometimes we need to hear stuff from others people mouths to realise something we had suspicions long ago. This man in the Video around 14 min explain that with some clients he make a personality test and one year later when he do it again the test is different. Why? How come? Well, is just the case that after healing , they end up recovering their true selfs so the answers will be more allingned with their true essence and not corrupted by their trauma responses.

From where do you assume this about me ? If truth includes duality how duality cant be the truth? Rigth now I experience this computer in front of me as a sort of " Other" and I interact with it and my words as split from me and me as split from the whole cosmos. Of course in case of a higth dose of whaever psycadelic this dual state could become a little fuzzy, but is not the case now. You understand my point? When something is not the case I dont write or speak as if it was the case because I would not being truth to what it is now. I one day I am able to drink a high dose of something and come here and write my experience then I will do it, and that will be true to what it, at least for me. You made a shift from you to us here. Did you notice it? Ask youself why you made the shift.

The video end up being about this : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Philosophy_of_'As_if' Within a philosophical framework of epistemology, the book argues for false premises or false assumptions as a viable cognitive heuristic. For example, simplified models used in the physical sciences are often formally false, but nevertheless close enough to the truth to furnish useful insight; this is understood as a form of idealization. -

ah a plus: the video that originated this thread have a twist. It happens around 35:00 of the video. yes there is more about the video than Gentrification, but you just get the cookie if you watch the whole thing. The true intention of this video was about this : https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2022/03/15-minute-city-stickiness/ This https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2021/11/15minute-city-falls-short/ THIS 15 minute cities: How they got caught in conspiracy theories - BBC News https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-66990302 this https://www.nytimes.com/2023/03/28/technology/carlos-moreno-15-minute-cities-conspiracy-theories.html A short extract from the link For most of his 40-year career, Carlos Moreno, a scientist and business professor in Paris, worked in relative peace. Many cities around the world embraced a concept he started to develop in 2010. Called the 15-minute city, the idea is that everyday destinations such as schools, stores and offices should be only a short walk or bike ride away from home. A group of nearly 100 mayors worldwide embraced it as a way to help recover from the pandemic. The conspiracy theorists came late, but suddenly. In recent weeks, a deluge of rumors and distortions have taken aim at Mr. Moreno’s proposal. Driven in part by climate change deniers and backers of the QAnon conspiracy theory, false claims have circulated online, at protests and even in government hearings that 15-minute cities were a precursor to “climate change lockdowns” — urban “prison camps” in which residents’ movements would be surveilled and heavily restricted. Many attacked Mr. Moreno, 63, directly. The professor, who teaches at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, faced harassment in online forums and over email. He was accused without evidence of being an agent of an invisible totalitarian world government. He was likened to criminals and dictators. For the first time in his career, he started receiving death threats. People said they wished he and his family had been killed by drug lords, told him that “sooner or later your punishment will arrive” and proposed that he be nailed into a coffin or run over by a cement roller. “I wasn’t a researcher anymore, I was Pol Pot, Stalin, Hitler,” Mr. Moreno said. “I have become, in one week, Public Enemy No. 1.” For high-profile figures, such as the infectious-disease expert Dr. Anthony S. Fauci and the Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, misinformation and the hostility it can cause have long been a part of the job description. But increasingly, even professors and researchers without much of a public persona have faced intimidation from extremists and conspiracy theorists. And Over all.. the Video is about the topic of people living in a Virtual Reality, a Phantasm. or as Leo points : Augmented Reality. A sort of Self Made Dream Thats why I know who watched the whole video and Who dont. because the video have a Twist. -

@Arthogaan I though I was the only one seeing it . I hope people who see this post can see my point. My point is: All of us live in a city. Maybe some live in the contryside. My question: Are you concerned with you city issues? do you participate in the evolution of it or you just are a Spectator letting all go. Imagine you area is a nice place with green parks. In case you want to live there till old age, would you love to see the place get more beautyfull for the next generations? or you just dont care. If you dont care so this thread is not for you. This is about solutions to avoid the cultural social deterioration of your place or corner in the Universe. Yes we cont control everthing. But if we care a bit we will find ways to participate in our locality -

Wikipedia time : Dissociation is a concept that has been developed over time and which concerns a wide array of experiences, ranging from a mild emotional detachment from the immediate surroundings, to a more severe disconnection from physical and emotional experiences. The major characteristic of all dissociative phenomena involves a detachment from reality, rather than a false perception of reality as in psychosis. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dissociation_(psychology)

So, what is wrong about being anxious, bitter, envious, jealous, sad, confused? Lets be Stoics like a rock? Accepting polarities is accept of all, like Leo said somewhere "Acceptance of ALL of yourself". For me is about accepting the the whole specturum of human reality the darkness and ligthness both. Because is what is , there is no escapism. And I know when I tend to use Spiritual Concepts as a Escapist coping mechanism. The true is: When you are in daily life Ideias of Infinite have no use. I let Infinite Oneness for moments of deep psycadelic journey. And even sometimes the Rreality is that you end up going to a trip with intentions of Trancendence and the trip take you down to the Hell, and is in that Hell that sometimes is the Gold you need to make your life worth living.

You assume I am Indian? You assume I dont welcome you. both assumptions are wrong. -
Curve ball question from Teal Swan at 14:37 min: DO YOU BELIVE IN ONENESS? If you really Listen this Video and let it sink in yourbody you will undestand why is cringe to red most of the things I read in this Forum. If you guys want to act like Stoics that are Indiferent of everything in this world ok, Go and live like that.
-
is very clear to see when someone comment without even watching the whole video that was main reason why someone posted the thread. Some of you guys just read the title of the Video and comment fast based on the Title. The video is not about the Big Ideia o SELF bit the history of how from ancient times the sense of self was a bit different of how is today in the Instagram age. it feel like many here became lobotomised by Leo content that all topics need somehow to be channeled by the Absolute Prisma or Solopsistic whaever. Gosh, if this is the case, Leo did a diservice for your lifes. There is more to live than just reducing everything to Absolute. Snif 5Meo and go to Absolute when you feel like but dont let that ruin the capacity to enjoy the daily things in life.

I write english the best I cans since one of the rules of this Forum is that one need to write in english only. If Leo would add a automatic translation app here you would see that my writing would be much better. How many languages do you write and speak? I write and speak the best I can in English,Spanish, Portuguese and I am able to communicate by speach all this languages with average fluency. how man y do you domintate? Not braging here since some people can speak even more than this. But dont expect me to write perfect english. I never told I was a master on it. I never will be. -

Of course, there is always more nuances and subtleties. Infinite Nuances. But if will wait for understand infinite nuances to start taking action we will need to wait till the end of times to make nay move. My point is, yes we can have wrong information in a complex system but we still will need to act. Do you know everything about how your day will flow each and every morning? No. You use the best information you have to do everything you take for granted in yout routine. Lets imagine one day you wake up and there is a Tiger in your Kitchen, if that happen you will need to act in the moment with the best you have. My point is, a citzen who cares abour the state of the world will need to act with the best info he or her or it have in the moment. Daniel Schmachtenberger gives big sense-making lectures about the situation of our current predicament. Do he have all the infomration available. No, no way, no human is able to have all data or even process all data. But will he wait to have all understanding to start taking action? No, he is taking action with the best he can, and this is the case of this youtuber and even Leo Gura, Leo videos give the best he can in the moment and even he admit that is impossible to hope he will give all answers , -
Of course is One single Self. Of coursee. Is so Obvious. Everyone see it. Dont you see everybody speaking about this Infinite Self everywhere?in the coffee shops, parks online ... everyone keeps repeating the Leo Gura Teachings everywhere. Yes yes is an aAbsolute Obsession.
