My humble guess is that the phenomena of ToM is a necessity in animals that live in groups. Mainly Apes. I think there is a study of Macaques where a macaque lie to other macaques giving a wrong scream signal that would mean "snake" and by doing this the group runs away so the macaque can eat a nice fruit without sharing with the group. So, again, if any behavior exists it exist on order to sustain survival otherwise there would be no need of it. Having intuition about other people intentions is a good thing for survival, kids need to learn how to read parents and act in ways to get what they want otherwise they would not survive. We do a lot of prediction everyday, mainly when we are in company of others, and this allow us to navigate the day in making food,working,debating,conflict resolution etc..

Would this writer still be in the same attitude if he or she would being told today as aftternoon you will be no more, over, death. If the person would honesty say: yes, no problems, i will live like any other day, no stress. So one thing is nice philosophical and metaphysical declarations the other is when death knocks the door. I was doing this listening for hours in last winter while working with my brother in a CNC machine work. There was a lot o noise so I used the podcast to stop the noise and listening something while work. But alert. Sometimes is better to be present when working with heavy machines. Neural beats was a second option and frequencys and sometimes jumping to nice music. Remember that our mind have also a sort of digestive process. To much input with not output or creation work becomes indigestive. I dont listen Leo content twice anymore, and listen again some video only if I feel the call for some topic.
