No one is interested in letting me get my way. But my way is the only way, and I am not interested in hearing what you think. You will tell me I’m wrong. But you don’t like me, so YOU must be wrong. Why would I listen to someone who doesn’t like me and thinks I’m wrong? Democracy requires me to talk to other people. To listen to other people. To consider other people. That all sounds stupid and annoying because I don’t like those people and they don’t like me or my radical ideas. I am not interested in working with people to have a system that works for me AND other people. What I want is what I want and it needs to appeal to me. I reject outside influences and I reject thoughts that are not my own. I will be invalidated if I allow someone else to change my ideas. If what I want works for others that means they are like me; good for them. But working with others sounds hard. I don’t want hard. I want my way. And I want it without pushback. Working with others means I have to be a decent human and see others as equals. But I am exceptional. It is pointless and a waste of time to consider the views of those who are not as smart and special as me. If I accept the idea of democracy, then I would have to interact with people who are less than me. If I compromise with them, that means I can’t have my way. I will remove the annoying barrier of cooperation so I can have my way with no friction. If it hurts others, that’s ok. I am hurt by others. They deserve this. I am hurt by others. They don’t see me as special. I am hurt by others. I will hurt them back. I am hurt by others. I will find other hurt people who think like me to hurt everyone else. I am hurt by others. So I will make sure everyone else gets angry too and starts hurting each other. I spent time carefully justifying my retaliation with proposals layered in logical fallacies disguised as reasonable arguments for my ideas. If I can make enough people angry, they will realize my ideas were the only right ideas all along. I just had to do some really hard things to trick them and force them to see and do things my way. If I pull it off, it proves I’m special. Once I get my way I won’t need those people to like me anymore. I can put them to work as slaves to my system. They will have no choice. They were already slaves to a broken democratic system, now they will be slaves to me and my privatized system. If you don’t like it, tough. You should have treated me like I’m special and important and let me force my extreme ideas into your system in the first place. You made me do this. And since I did the hard work to destroy your old, broken system and replace it with my own I deserve this. You can call me racist or fascist or hurl any other accusation you want at me. I won’t care. I did this hard work to reward myself for putting up with all your democratic “fairness” I don’t agree with. I’ve been unfairly subjected to what I don’t like about everyone else my whole life. I don’t think it’s fair to me that you won’t include my extreme ideas into the system. So I need to destroy your system and replace it with my extremes. Then I will be in charge of what I think is fair. I don’t see you as an equal, remember? So what I think is fair is you should suffer now too. After all, I’ve suffered just watching you exist. I can’t stand you other inferior people taking up space, breathing my air, benefiting from my efforts, getting government assistance, living in ways I would never want to live. You disgust me, but I can still use you. With my system, I will own you and if you don’t produce for me, I will eliminate you. It’s that simple. I am Gov-Corp. I am all that’s left. I stole your system. I stripped it for parts. I privatized what can profitable and torched the remaining framework in my path. You can’t push me aside and “go back to normal.” Your old normal no longer exists. You still don’t like me. That’s ok. I got my way. I think it might help if we stop trying to educate the masses about the CONTENT of their intent. Their philosophies are tough to ingest much less digest.
