  1. I see. Maybe trad-cons have it right. Meditate in your room full day, while your wife cooks for you and leaves you the food at your door. Also, she goes to work while you meditate, of course. Someone has to pay rent. Talking about being a spiral wizard.
  2. mmm talking from expereice. 1st of all. Yes, being mindful of your pain. Realizing that is NOT A NEGATIVE emotion. It is a DISCONFORTING emotion. Very different. It may sound weird, but in a twisted way profund sadness is really beautiful. A breakup is a peak experience in life. Its weird that I say that, but if you are optimistic about the future, you can turn it around. The problem is resisting the pain. Also: -Analyze your relationship. -How it started? were you in scarcity? when the relationship start to go south? when the sex life start becoming boring? were you jelaous in the beginning? Are you less jelaous now? -What do you know now about women now that you didnt know before? -What are you going to screen for when you meet new woman? -Which mistakes are you going to avoid? -How can you get a more conscious/hot/better gf? -Become better at socializing, flirting, style, body language. Learn about sex. -Be able to enjoy life more now single. Also: Add new hobbies, new interest. Meet new people. If you feel like it, reinvent yourself from scratch: Thoughts, habits, self-talk, identity, the way you speak. Do the work to move up the spiral. Use your free time and mental space to develop yourself in record time.
  3. LOL I thought about that this week. How the fuck did Ramana or some of these guys in Himalayan caves got food? You can only fast for so long. And I dont picture this guys hunting some damn rabbits.
  4. Yeah, is tough, but its our choice how much time we dedicate to it. But for me monk mode is not about internet. If you are 10 hours per day online, creating a sales funnel, writing a novel, recording & uploading youtube videos, etc... thats a form monk mode. Its not the stereotypical 'eastern monk mode', or a 10 day retreat like you propose. But its a form of creation, not consumption. There is only you, your thoughts, and a medium for sharing them. If you have a 9-to-5 job, you can’t either haha so architecting a life where its possible, at least to some degree, becomes key.
  5. Exactly, thats the problem. It hurt me when I realized that, but it was a chance to face the truth and do some changes. Yeah, that feeling sucks. The thing is that choosen solitude can feel like heaven, but forced solitude can feel like hell. A breakup is a perfect example. After a breakup, socializing is great. Think of group classes for example. But not as a way to scape the negative feelings. Its tough but you just need to purge them out of your system. If you do it right, you will experience tremendous growth. Pain + reflection = Growth. And you will be able to start new higher consciousness relationships.
  6. I think for a lot of guys the terms 'monk mode' and 'solitude' can be very confusing. A lot of people bullshit themselves with those term. They say 'i love solitude'. No you dont. Staying at home using your phone constantly, texting, watching porn, sports, social media. Even if you are PHYSICALLY alone... Thats not real solitude. Thats not really monk mode. Real solitude is not letting other minds enter yours. So, no podcast, no social media, no texting (that socialization, of the worst kind really). Of course some quality book is ok, but at least recognize what real solitude is key. If most people went monk mode for real they will crumble. Just ask yourself: Even in this forum that is super niche, How many people took a weekend solo retreat? Im not even saying a 10 day retreat Leo style. Just 2-3 days alone in a cabin in the woods with ZERO distractions. Not many. The reasons are obvious.
  7. This what I don't understand. If there is no phenomenology, how can you know? Just pure being? But that was my original question. Does that even 'feel/sense' like something? Yes, but in a more practical sense, my ''perception'' will stop if I die now. My past guess was that after death, its all 'blackness' like sleeping. 0 awareness. So even if we call it Pure Consciousness, are we really conscious of something? Like, if we are Nothing, without adapting a human form (or other form) are we conscious of what?
  8. Damn, back in the day I went to a Derek Moneyberg free tour... it was so bad... the free tour per se, and the pitching. At the end the picture was something like this: Derek and 4-5 assistants on stage + 10 guys who bought bootcamp + 20 guys that already went to past bootcamps. We were like 7-10 people left in the audience. And he told us to get to the 1st row. So it was like an outnumbered confrontation. US vs Them dynamic. And he start telling us 'why are you not signig up? I dont get it' ''look at all these people that are going to fuck all your women'. I dont give a shit, I found it hilarious, but man, it was so weird and aggressive. Pure psychopathy. He saw no humanity in anyone. Just the potential for an extra 3000$ At the end he was so gracious, and he let us go lol just thinking we are inferior beings. Funny experience.
  9. I get it, my concern was that even if you have an awakening, there is still 'something phenomenologically' (touch, sight for example), if that make sense. That sounds like reincarnation, or are you talking about something different? Is that what you mean when you say death is not real?
  10. Thats my question. My guess is that is death. You said one of these days that you can shoot yourself in the head and even then you will be more conscious (of something like that). So my point is: whats the phenomenology of that? Pure Nothingness? Just like when we sleep? But then, is that being conscious? I dont get how can you be conscious when there is nothing. Does it makes sense?
  11. haha I dont think Tolle is around normies a lot; just in his seminars, which is teacher-student dynamic and his way to make money. Maybe Sadhguru does.
  12. Seems like a good perspective. I found myself in this position. Not even need to reach a level close to be a zen master. The level of development of the general population is so low, that with a bit of serious personal development work, isolation is needed.
  13. Exactly my question. So pure consciousness (dissolving all the rest) in human form is not possible? Thats my point. Becaues in human form there is always something more, touch, sound... even in Oneness.
  14. Yes, he said that, and I had an awekening, but even if perception is an illusion (there is no self and no other to perceive), even in that 'state' of Oneness, the chair in front of you is there, or the pain you have in your hand. Thats my confusion. Seems like there is no way to be pure Consciousness (Being) while in the body...
  15. you enjoy masturbating, right? you enjoy having sex in a dream, right? Enjoy having sex with yourself
  16. you can include thoughts. but was referring more to the sensory perceptions.
  17. Still, if you have a stomach ache or you are listening to music, and you have and awakening, you still hear the music and you still feel the stomach pain. My question was more in reference when people say things like: When you die you become pure Consciousness. So, you can realize that while in human form, but when you die you wont have that stomach ache or that music in the background.
  18. How? Still you can awaken, realize God, and you keep seeing things and objects although you realize their true nature. But the chair is still there.
  19. Seems is a stage green problem. Is necessary to integrate it but not at the expense of the exclusion of other masculine stages of development.
  20. MOST will be fucked moving to a cave, even the highly developed ones. Lets take Leo, he still loves the forum. He is no cave. He is virtually socializing. Is tough to let that go. Osho, Sadguru, Spira etc... the same. There is this human urge to have some socialization. I love isolation, but at the same time some good socialization is great from time to time. There can be a combination of both, a synergy; we just need to recontextualize what socialization can and cannot give to us. My guess is most monks are in monasteries, with MORE people; not alone in caves.
  21. The problem with this people is that the overfocus in ONE aspect of life, but they forget the rest. Like the multi-millionaire that gets destroyed by his wife, because he never took the time to learn about women or inter sexual dynamics. Or top tier athletes with shitty spirituality. Or the spiritual guru who just eats sattvic foods and gets sick. Its the norm, not the exception.
  22. I feel similar to this. In a way yes, is like talking to children. Is like living in a world full of 40 year old teenagers. Puer aeternus, like Jung said. And forget about awakening or profound spirituality. Most people just dont care. Is just how it is. Just studying and deeply understanding dynamics (moving into stage yellow), epistemology, understanding bias, survival vs truth, social matrix, going meta, paradigms... man, when you hear people talk about politics or day to day life... I really feel astonished... the level of inner development is so low... The key here is that this level of development is the standard. So people dont feel the urge to upgrade. People stop evolving around 25. Then coast thru life. Work, consume & repeat. And is not about judging. 5 years ago I was more in the go go-stage orange, mix with some hippie phases, so I feel a bit ashamed of my prior self. My level of thinking was pretty low also. Now in stead of getting angry, I just try to have fun with the situation. Paraphrasing the beginning of the Gran Gatsby: Not everybody had the same opportunities that I had, so, they are where they can. Its just a cosmic joke. Lets enjoy it
  23. I bought Tai Lopez 67 Steps back in 2015 for 7$. That program was the real deal. Also I got into reading because of him and his booklist. Is a great way to start your self help journey in stage Orange. You just need to evolve from it.
  24. Wow really surprised about this! Interested in Europe event.
  25. Nah most high IQ scientific people probably think that (Richard Dawkins, Neils Degrasse Tyson etc...)
