I like almost anything that has good acting and some interesting message. Some A24 movies are my favorite movies (apart from Hereditary and few others)

I agree, Logan was one of the few good ones.

No matter how good or bad a movie is, it never has the right to be pushed so hard everywhere. The best sci-fi movie? Interstellar. The best soundtrack? Interstellar. The best father-daughter film? Interstellar. The people who are masturbating on it just haven't seen enough movies. End of story.

Because that "unproven idea" is still backed by CGI and low-grade popcorn action. It's guaranteed people will fall for it.

Do you guys even realize that you have just proven what I said? lol. If you think Nolan is original, maybe you should watch some movies from Garland, Aronofsky, and Lathimos. I am sure most of you haven't even heard of them.

I have watched Interstellar ("The Masterpiece") on its release in one of the best cinemas, and even paid for the Imax version or something like that... One of the worst movies I have seen, and I wasn't alone with that opinion. Rewatched Inception and Tenet lately and fell asleep.

You should watch it ASAP, it's a shocking movie, but also highly misunderstood. Another great movie with similar atmosphere is "I am thinking of ending things", although it's not as good as Mother! and Men. It's nice too see there are people here with this "weird movies" hobby 😅

If you like Mother you should also watch Men. Similar atmosphere, but it's even more disturbing IMO.

Sorry, but those trailers are terrible. Not because of the art style, but because of the talking. Imagine going to see a movie and knowing all names and details about every single character in the movie. It's more like a bad advertisement than a movie trailer.

People pay thousands just to see nature. When you get older, you will understand.

I am talking about supporting small businesses trying to make the best possible products which you don't have to throw away every 1-2 years. A system with healthy competition, without giant corrupted companies that are all being owned by the same people.

Yes it's safe that you don't have to worry about your life, but not that safe that you can leave your things on the beach or in the car. Recommending countries/cities here is pointless anyway because everyone favours their own country or countries they like personally. Also, people like different things/countries at different stages of their life. Literally the whole Europe is now being recommended in this thread lol

This is true, I like Reddit and I often add "reddit" into my search phrase when I want to see reddit results specifically and I think Google knows that a lot of people just want to see reddit results. However, Google has been around for 20 years and never pushed Reddit results so much, but as soon as they made a big deal with them, you now get Reddit results everywhere. Google literally now owns YouTube and Reddit. They also added more ads into the search page and blended them so much it's really hard to distinguish them from regular search results. If you are not a tech savvy person, you never know what is an ad and what is an actual search result. Back in the day, if you owned a website and used this technique on your own ads, Google would ban your Adsense account for breaking the rules.

The problem is that there is no true capitalism right now. There is no free market economy. When a very big company is about to go bankrupt, government comes in and save it with money that shouldn't even exist. When a stock market is about to crash, Fed lowers interest rates to avoid the crash. Instead of letting the failing economy heal itself, governments try to save it by printing money infinitely. This is socialism for the rich!

There is an alternative. Early capitalism was pretty good. You know, before the central banks money printing, etc.
