Silence or sound are properties of consciousness. Consciousness is what Reality is, not matter, pure Consciousness is what the experience of this moment actually is. This has to be recognised. Philosophy is something Consciousness can do. Becoming conscious is understanding, the more consciousness is infused into consciousness the more you cognise a figment of consciousness. How much can it be cognised? It can be ever more understood as all figments reflect the whole and the whole is but another figment. As you breakthrough you enter into Infinity dynamics.

Consider other countries don't have the luxury for self-criticism as inner disonance creates weakness which is exploited by other forces. Only when you have a solid system, a safe country and a prosperous economy that inner criticism is valued and very desirable indeed. Don't put the cart before the horse, you are having unrealistic expectations on neutrality and bias awareness. The process of developing nations is quite logical when you consider how the West underwent similar transitions not too long ago to reach its current state. It's easy to forget the West faced many of the same challenges on its path to plurality.

@Basman There's a reason why everything is the way it is. I was trying to serve as a mirror of our own culture. Many times I see critiques of less developed countries, but honest self assessment of your own culture and way of life is rarely seen. I think there is more value in self introspecting on the limitations of your own culture and attitudes than about other places you really know very little about. In the end, you should be doing both.

@Spiritual Warfare Let's flip the debate upside down. In which ways first worlds countries opress women? So instead of focusing in the obvious less developed countries, what about self reflecting about our own culture and its limitations regarding women? Moreover, in the ways we personally opress and misunderstand women, denying their emotions and a myriad of other activities.

@Ulax Vipassana works good for purification. Contrast it with do nothing to get the expansive side at the end of each session. Complement it with kundalini/kriya yoga and it will speed up the whole process

I recently had a breakthrough in my understanding of procrastination. What is procrastination, and why does procrastination exist in the first place? (Transcript of my audio notes) So I've discovered that procrastination is a feedback mechanism. So before I used to cognize procrastination as a bad thing, You know, like the feeling that it gave me and the pain, all the suffering that it went with it. But now I've realized that it's the other way around, procrastination, the bad feeling that it gives: it's a blessing. Why? Because it is guiding me towards what I should be doing, towards my duty, towards my purpose. The fact that procrastination feels bad is a wonderful thing. Because if procrastination felt good, you would do nothing with your life. And you would stagnate, life would stagnate. But as life is a continuous cycle of evolution, consciousness and intelligence, it's ever seeking greater perfection. Procrastination is seen in this bigger context as a tool for the human psyche to discern what it should be doing. Because just by observing the fact that you're procrastinating (that you should be doing something and you're not doing it) feels bad. See? That sensation is like a betrayal to yourself. And in fact, the more that task accumulates in your duties and in your mind, the more you will feel bad about it. So it is in this context that procrastination is extremely, extremely useful. Because just by listening to that bad feeling and observing what happens when you break through and push through the initial resistance of doing that task, you actually feel wonderful. You actually feel realized. You actually feel meaningful. You feel powerful. You know? You feel powerful while the other way around, you feel bad and you feel weak. Isn't it so?

It's this inner roar in your soul that explotes in resilience and pushes through everything. Tap into it. It's crazy because what I care most about is mysticism yet that's probably the 15% of my day. The rest I'm doing tangential activities so that ten years from now I'll be able to be a full time mystic. You gotta connect the points in your mind and have a wild vision. I imagine myself at home not giving a fuck about anything but the crazy awakening I'm experiencing that nobody has yet realized. You gotta make that sweet dream in your mind to fuel your life. I takes time for Awakenings to permeate every corner of your psyche, mind and body. You may set the best conditions for a plant to blossom but just as much as you can support and facilitate any organic happening. We are talking about full integration, it's a long journey no matter if you take a plane.

@The Renaissance Man Mentors can become great catalysts for the area you are working with. It's very desirable to find one. Although the mentor has to see a spark in you for the magic to happen. I've benefited from mentors my whole life and I strongly believe it has played a central role in my success. In whatever area I want to delve into I associate with the best, don't be cheap, it will cost you more in the long run. It's great to have that teacher-to-student connection where both of you love the craft. From languages to martial arts and to my academic studies, mentors have allowed me to bypass traps, become proficient and enjoy the journey. This is the reason why I'm in the Forum, to learn closely from Leo. I recognise the best when I see them, hence the association happens.

Understanding identification is not enough for Awakening beyond body/mind. Imagine a room has been left untouched for two decades, it certainly has many dust accumulated. Let's say dust stops getting accumulated (full revelation of the identification mechanisms) you still have to clean up the mess. For that, serious sadhana has to be performed. Cleaning the psychosoma from its biomemory, unblocking all energies and finally the unknotting of the egoic separate self. This is the way; and it will take at least half the time it took to get dirty

The whole problem with your question is that it comes exactly from within the problem, which is body mind identification. You ground your sense of Reality into your body and humanity. Till the realization comes that the human is not the ground of your being but an expression or instrument of it, you will not discover the answer to your questions. What is the answer to your question? Infinite Imagination This has to be realized. There are many ways to experience the Awakening of transcending the body/mind and many others to stabilise it as your everpresent Reality.

Consider also the role identification plays. It is important to really independently contemplate this phenomenon. There are two main schools of approach. The first one contracts identity to 0. The second one expands identity to Infinity. I feel more comfortable with the second and that has been my approach. Right now ponder what you consider as I. Let's say the body, the thoughts, the emotions, the memories, the breathing, the organs and cells, digestion etc. All of this complex and multifaceted functions you consider as I. Now try to cognise all the happenings in the macrocosm, all that is going on, the weather, the sounds, shapes, movement, temperatures, humans, animals, architecture etc. Try to become conscious that it's equally I. In the same way it is in the microcosm of your human Self, so it is in the macrocosm of The Universe. This cognition helps to unhook yourself from body-mind identification.

Through vipassana and Kundalini for baseline. Through DMT and Salvia for peak. You feel glued to the body because mind/consciousness is condensed like a tight fist around the body. It's like a multilayer compressed cake. If you are able to melt this layers (by love) or burn them (by understanding, awareness or raw consciousness) then your consciousness will unclutch from the body and become expansive as the sky. The wrapping will be removed and you'll find yourself in a state where Consciousness has no outter limits or bounds, it goes on forever. Try to become aware of the limit of your perception right now. Imagine that wall breaks and it expands for Infinity.
