  1. I really don't know why someone decides to actually pull the trigger. What I know is that there must be a desire for self aggression, probably also self hatred and self denial. Maybe wanting to avoid an extremely painful situation where all doors are (perceived) to be closed, therefore crossing the doorless door.
  2. For those completely absorbed in God-Consciousness, view everything as God and attain God Realization. ~Bhagavan Krishna~
  3. @TheAlchemist Glad to hear it worked for you. Cannabis is still very intense for me, shadow work and energy work becomes very intense and my mind accelerates like crazy. It's the only substance I haven't been able to domesticate. Well and Salvia, but that doesn't count.
  4. @Carbon Have you tried one note? How would you compare it with Obsidian? I've heard many great things about it, but I'm unsure wether to make the jump or not.
  5. @mmKay I loved reading that. I've discovered that most philosophies don't survive the meta process. Skepticism, being skeptic of skepticism. Relativism, being relative of relativism. Nihilism, being nihilist about nihilism. And so on. Consciousness for example allows all meta. Every time I wanna test the robustness of a system or philosophy I apply meta to itself and see if it survives.
  6. I mean you can quit for other reasons like starting a business, a new demanding job, a master degree, having a children. These are valid reasons imo.
  7. @Javfly33 Horrible idea. Never leave your sadhana. There is oscillation between achieving and doing VS letting go and relaxing. That's fine and we all get through that, but killing the whole project? Nah. Never. You're not over spiritual practice, if anything you are underdoing it. It's your life at the end but if you're serious about this message, I'm telling you this is the worst decision you could take in your life. There are only two major traps in the Spiritual path: Never starting Quitting
  8. Today I had a crude Realization. I won't be able to experience all of life. I won't be able to play all instruments, to learn all languages, to visit all places on planet earth, to fuck all beautiful women to ever existe and so on. What a pity Honestly, I would like to do it all, to learn all that is possible to understand, to experience all possible experiences, I desire everything, it's crazy.
  9. For music meditation. I find this playlist the best: Behind a pay wall brain.fm has absolutely transformed my life and relationship with Music. I cannot express enough the impact AI music has had in my life. I cannot work without it anymore, it's such a game changer for focus, creativity, recovery from high mental activity, sleep routines... It's music on steroids and it learns from your tastes. @Leo Gura Check It out https://www.brain.fm/ I've always thought you would love it.
  10. I can see which disease assumes what image. When they want to come to this body, I don’t obstruct them. When only I exist where is acceptance and rejection? Know that, as I am happy with you, likewise with them also - MA. (This is one of my all time favourite quotes. She was asked this question while severely ill)
  11. I've also heard many criticism on the label.
  12. In what ways Post Modernism is revolutionary? What real world applications does it have? What areas in human affairs would be most transformed by PM if properly understood? How can we build ladders for society to grow up to PM? In the same way, how can we grow beyond PM? (Referencing previous models and work we have done) What does Post Modernism say about language? What about science? What are the traps of PM? Post modernism seems to englobe areas beyond philosophy, like art or architecture. How is all of it related? What is at the core of the Post Modernism movement? Just some half-baked brainstorming, in case it is of any value.
  13. Hope you leave no stone unturned about that I'm also interested in their good discoverings regarding relative human stuff. I know you talked about PM great contribution in the understanding and limits of language. I'm very interested on that also, as a personal bias of mine.
  14. Oh true, my bad. I'm aware of it. I've been checking and the episode relative VS absolute Truth may come in handy also. Has post modernism discovered absolute truth? Or just discovered past humans were absolutizing the relative and denied such possibility?
  15. Nice, I'm very excited to learn more about postmodernism. I just know the basics, particularly on their stances on Truth. (Which I consider an evolution from the past but still horribly crude) How are you gonna explain postmodernism without deeply addressing Relativity? I'm no expert but how is that gonna fly? As far as I know they claim Truth is relative and interpreted by the human mind. Which is a considerable remark in the human affairs and epistemology. Although totally gaslighting the possibility for Absolute Knowing or Absolute Consciousness of Reality as it is or Truth. This is what I expect you to be talking about how they are bullshiting about Truth. Such positions kill the philosophical spirit and limit the mind to a bigger fish tank than it was previously trapped in, without meta awareness of paradigm lock or higher consciousness. I'm sure postmodernism has great things in other areas. I just researched it regarding my interests, which is Truth and holistic understanding.
  16. It blows my mind you have such a fun time with K. I just wanna mind my business with it and disassociate. Understandable Don't throw the towel though Arrived today and I'm staying till Saturday with my girlfriend. I like the Mediterranean part of France. I still have to discover Paris and the North in general. I would like to live in France for some time at least, I wanna get to know you all ahahaha I have to say you are known for being the spoilt country in Europe. Jokes aside, I find the french people quite intriguing honestly. I haven't gotten the culture vibe yet
  17. I find it very embarrassing and ridiculous. The fact that Dana White invested in this is quite disrespectful towards the Martial Art Spirit and what it represents. And I'm no puritan, this is a quite shared view in the community. I just don't like it, what can I say.
  18. Ketamine is very Buddhist in this sense, very meditative like in an old fashion way. 5meos is the new school, that's my understanding and personal preference. Btw, I'm in Nice for holidays. I like the Côte d'Azur, very nice place. I had almost forgotten the French spirit!
  19. No sorry, they don't pass my quality standard for tripping contemplation. When I'm on psychedelics I can even see some of Leo's blind spots, better ways of communicating and pointing towards the truth. In general my mind becomes very sharp to the noise to sound ratio of any guided contemplation. Leo is pretty good but I have exhausted its juicy material regarding Consciousness and God Realization.
  20. @questionreality If you don't value Leo's feedback you are welcome to have your opinion, although that doesn't make it true either. Why are you so sharp with him? I think you are missing a great opportunity here with your behaviour. If you want you could take a totally new attitude on the matter, based on respect and seeing value in what others have to offer, guiding the conversations towards insightful inquiries instead of diagnosing personality disorders and acting like you know more than what you actually do on the matter. Just know your place. Please take it as a respectful feedback, it's all it is.
  21. I kinda miss the spiritual mumbojumbo
  22. Today is commemorated the MahaSamadhi of Sri Anandamayi Ma
