@Breakingthewall You must distinguish between Consciousness and autoconsciousness. You are confusing autoconsciousness with Consciousness. Everything is Consciousness but not all of it is autoconscious or consciousness shining in consciousness, so to speak. It's multilevel consciousness. Otherwise, please tell me what is beyond Consciousness/Existence? Exactly what I'm trying to say. So in this sense we can say autoconsciousness or itself consciousness is a most perfect state but Consciousness itself is indeed Infinite and all encompasing beyond awareness. -
It really is interesting to be exposed to this material At some point I'll have to watch some on 5meo to lose that distance and comfort of being in my home watching someone being murdered but literally dying with the experience, immersing myself and refining my decision making/understanding.

Poetry! Funny Ralston was in that exact same situation a year ago, King of his own world of what thought possible. Bottomline, Consciousness can always be more Awake and Infinite as well as more limited and deluded, such is the nature of Reality and the Omnipotent Mind of God. Interested to check that out -
I don't trip like I bench press. It's a joy and a lifestyle. I have no goal but to enjoy the journey. In my mind, if you're thinking about hitting a certain number it's the wrong approach. Do it because you love it. Although it's clear that there are important Awakenings that only happen as you get more trips under your belt. It's called tripping for a reason, the more you trip the further you travel.

It's a hard question to answer, as many factors come into play. If there is a tailored program for policing, meaning you do a state funded project to identify the needs of the police department with the existing martial arts training and the military, it can be done in 6 months via 4 trainings a week. However, if that doesn't happen and they don't wanna take responsability for making that program but take already existing martial arts systems. My advice would be purple jiu-jitsu belt which depends on the person but roughly it takes about 5 years to acquire. So yeah a major drawback in time, becaue jiu-jitsu does take time to build up the skills enough to translate them into the policing domain. Blue belt may be enough but with a bigger stronger crazier opponent you're still doomed. Purple belt is very solid and in the policing domain you'll be able to takedown and keep ground control of almost all oponents. The problem with the non-tailored-program approach is that you'll be learning lots of useful stuff that won't apply for your job and that takes quite some time away. Edit afterthoughts: I've been contemplating it and around 2 and a half years of MMA would be more than enough as well but it's injure prone and honestly I wouldn't like police officers to be trained in such a way. It's too deadly and complete, you can really hurt citizens with those skills. Jiu-jitsu is safer and effective with great values and a nice sense of community. So my recommendation still holds but regarding training time and already existing systems, MMA would be most effective for policing uncooperative criminals.

Police officers should get racing experience
-
I assume cops in the US have better shooting skills. Here in Barcelona when we had the yihadist attacks there was a big scandal, as many officers were firing for the first time after many years and just couldn't shoot down the terrorists.

They way I frame it is like training mathematicians to use calculators. Sure there has to be an investment and a period of learning but then the task at hand becomes much more efficient. It is neccessary for their job to know that skills. Again, not all martial arts translate well into policing, as we've discussed earlier. I just focus on two facets: takedowns and groundcontrol. Please tell me with a straight face how come a police officer doesn't have competence in these two skills. The martial systems that have trained those facets in more depth are wrestling, judo and jiu-jitsu. My point is to make cops have the first or second belt at least or otherwise make specific training camps for policing. In the same way it is done in the military world, where they cherry pick the needed skills from martial arts for their particular needs and make a million dollar program out of them. Just a similar, more realistic version of that for cops. A solid training camp and maybe the condition of earning the belt before X years of working as an officer, to make it more accesible. I understand that, it is a very legit point. Again, it's not bulletproof, in fact I build upon what you say as an argument to further promote martial training. If it is more chaotic and involves many more variables than martial arts, how come cops are not even trained in basic martial arts scenarios? It's like saying no need for you to learn how to light a BBQ because in the woods it's gonna be very very different, don't you see? Well I say, if you haven't even been trained to light a BBQ how on earth are you gona thrive in the woods? I did with the 3 videos I posted but here you have more to build background. Why Police Officers Should Learn Jiu Jitsu Why BJJ Is So Important For Police Officers & Great Technique For Police Officers by Nick Pollaro Most police officers end up gravitating towards jiu-jitsu but in my opinion it takes time to translate those skills into policing (2 years aprox). As jiu-jitsu is probably 70% grappling and 30% wrestling and you do need that wrestling in the beginning for being a cop. I assume wrestling does translate very well but is unpopular and physically demanding. So as an MMA practitioner, if I would be setting a police training camp I would start with wrestling experience, just hands on playing and making them try what works and what doesn't, and afterwards teaching them basic takedowns like double and single leg. Then Jiu-jitsu techniques for ground control and the dirty fights that happen on the floor. Lastly I would do some judo throws in case they are against bigger opponents, as a developmental focus in judo is to use the force and momentum of a bigger opponent against itself, so I believe that would be useful once the basics are covered. These are my fancy ideas but they also come from experience and from understanding the needs of police officers and their modus operandi. If I would be defending myself in the street my approach would be dramatically different, I would never wrestle or go to the ground. Cops play in pack and have guns. I would throw a boxing combination and get myself quickly out of there. This is to say that I carefully consider all that I learnt from MMA and many martial arts I've practiced over the years (taekwondo, judo, jiu-jitsu, boxing) for the needs at hand. Whether it is self defence or the martial training cops need to skilfully perform their job. Touche Zero first hand Experience in Policing Decent Experience in Martial Arts So it all boils down to how much we don't know

@Leo Gura You maybe should have this conversation with Ralston. How much experience do you have in martial arts? Maybe I'm wrong and you do have experience, but it seems to me your last blog quote can be very well applied to your position here. Undermining the necessary role of martial arts like wrestling and jiu-jitsu for policing. For anyone trained feels very cringe the way some cops are handling these situations: physically ineficient and unprofessional. Just medium level wrestling, judo or jiu-jitsu and two officers would have handcuffed that black beast, I'm telling you. On the other hand, you can see police officers with solid martial training and how well they handle these situations. Imo, I cannot comprehend how martial arts are not a compulsory skill to become a cop, in the same way it is demanded for the military. It does make sense because they have different priorities like de-escalation but they should be professionals in takedowns and ground control at least. Here is a little extract of the martial arts training you receive to become a soldier in the US: Otherwise nevermind, it's just my perspective. I don't wanna feed this too much. I just feel like you may be wrong and as that doesn't happen very often I wanna make you conscious of that.

This is huge and hardly even mentioned. At one point this became so obvious to me that I decided to do kundalini to train my nervous systems for psychedelic energetic floods. Martial arts really build a foundation for trips, both biologically and psychologically. Something to consider strongly, it was the biggest bottleneck for me and it can be for many others as well. Ironically, you ability to go high is affected by your ability to go wide and stable with your regular spiritual practices.

Even tech stocks did pretty good in the global pandemic. I wouldn't narrow it all down to people being addicted, money is the reason why they foment addiction. I would say the human is fascinated by what it can craft and such pursuit is being done by its own sake at this point. These CEOs don't even know where AI is heading but curiosity and a global obsession is feeding the machine non stop. Values also play a role, because where value and attention goes money flows. I've been contemplating these weeks about what stage green capitalism would look like.

@Princess Arabia Animals also use tools, this is the primitive origins of tech. If you keep following the thread you may end up with a computer.

Attaining the Equanimous Buddha Mind

I would disagree. Why then is there infidelity since the beginning of times? Why then today in regions like Africa and the middle east Polygyny is the social norm? Be careful with making western values universally embedded into the human DNA. Literally millions of humans have both holded and been satisfied by non-monogamous relationships in the history of mankind, so let that fact sink in. I gravitate more towards the dual-mating hypothesis, which suggests that humans evolved a mix of monogamous and non-monogamous tendencies to balance reproductive and social needs.

Any updates on this case?

@fabger it really is true, sometimes I see a super hot women on the street and lose my poise for a moment, then I remember even if I fucked her it's not even that amazing afterall.

@OBEler If I was trying to get a lifetime supply I would calculate half a gram of 5meodmt and half a gram of Malt each year. That would be my average, although my consumption rate oscillates a lot as many other psychonauts have shared. Last year I consumed around 300mg in roughly 8 months but this year I've hardly even tripped. It really depends on the moment of your life but overall, I personally would count for a gram a year to be safe in my numbers. I know I am much more sensible than you (for me 20mg is a medium-high dose, you need much more for a normal trip if I remember correctly) so maybe double that to two grams a year just in case. This should be more than enough. I understand, it's also a concern of mine.

In case you assume a monogamous relationship or just one wife/husband. There are many types of relationships which can be crafted which don't fall under those assumptions.

@Yali What I meant by "crazy" is that facts to women may totally be opaqued by feelings. Which to the masculine mind is craziness, it does feel like cognitive dissonance. The more feminine a women is the more her feelings are amplified. However, it makes sense if your brain is firing hormones and your emotions are 10x in comparison with your male experience. This feeling fact is also beneficial, of course, that's why you feel attracted to such polarity. Being able to feel allows for example for great empathy and connection. She might be awesome with kids, you just hear the baby cry, she can feel into what it needs with more precision than a man could ever dream of. On the other hand, I'm still contemplating on the rol of drama in women. Still many questions unanswered there. Btw, I got a great insight the other day about why women love to gossip, it's part of their survival mechanism, to understand and be acquainted with the social domain.

I've been hearing how your ability to learn new skills or study new domains of Reality becomes increasingly harder as you become older. However, I wonder how true that is, in case one actually trains its learning muscle and doesn't let it atrophy. On the other hand, I don't want to delude myself and find reduced cognitive abilities that prevent me from doing what I want later on in life. So I really wanna know this to take important decisions about my future

The more femenine the more crazy, that's the rollercoaster The man is the stability and direction she needs The women is the kite, the man is the thread Without one another: women goes lost with the wind and man is on the ground bored.

The sixth never comes and it's the reason why you're single You gotta invest in the good enough girl and take responsability for the growth and maturity of both. Conscious Leadership, right? Sometimes it's too much work, I agree. What for in the end, one might say?
