I don't relate at all with many 5meo experiences people are sharing in this thread. For me it's pure consciousness, divinity and Infinity. I never had a "bad" experience; even in the high dose range it was mildly uncomfortable for the body but even those momentary sensations were just a grain of sand in the infinite landscape of my mind. My consciousness clicks so nicely with the compound. This really makes me reflect. Maybe it's all about finding that one psychedelic that works for you. For me 5meo is the straighest way to Infinity and God.

Q- Mataji, how can we realize God? Can we also see God? Ma- Do you really want to see God? How much time and labour you have devoted to the study of law! (the person was a lawyer). How much do you devote or propose to devote to the realization of God? Certainly God is greater than law!

@freddyteisen Going gradual is important in psychedelics, because there are thresholds of experience where the difference between a light dose and a medium dose seems like a different substance and so with medium to high doses. You'll enjoy more step by step. Also as amazing as the full blast may be, don't concern yourself too much with it. Just walk your journey and let the substance and experience guide you. When you start tripping new doors open in yourself that require work, in my experience energy plays a big factor. That's usually the biggest bottleneck for consciousness when you take a psychedelic, so you may start experimenting with techniques that clean that dimension like kundalini yoga or vipassana meditation, particularly before tripping as they'll make the experience much more enjoyable and smooth. I'm so happy for you and I celebrate your decision to try 5meo. It will bring so much good to your life!

Profesional oil-based lubricants help a lot. With a nice lubricant you won't even feel it that much. Water based lubricants make it rough. And saliva sometimes does work and others it's still unpleasent, so I've sticked to more reliable lubricants.

@freddyteisen I recommend 5meos to start with. Imo, LSD and mushrooms are much more challenging to beginners and for me the time factor 16h LSD and 6h Mushrooms is huge, it feels like too long. So I absolutely recommend you to start with 5meo, is all you need. But it's not a good idea to "Completely blast out and dissolve my ego" I wouldn't recommend it as a first experience. You've never tripped at all, it's the first time with that chemical, you have no clue how your body will react, it's just not the safest approach. Buy yourself 5meo, and do microdosing to meditate or do yoga, increase the doses with time and when you feel the calling to "blast out" call that facilitator and do it. That's my solid advice. To sum up: 5meo to begin YES! First experience full Breakthrough NO!

@BlessedLion Pleasure is a part of life as well. One should balance dopamine and serotonine. Although our society may be so out of balance with dopamine that the balancing tendency is to quit many sources of artificial dopamine. I like this quote from a sage man:
-
But you are the CEO and so is the shadow. It's really you. I am all of my inner pieces. It's just that we are all fragmented and seeking inner reunification. In the perfect world the CEO, the lover, the artist, the darkness, every figment of you gets integrated into a complete individual and hence you would complete the process of "individuation" as Jung stated or wholeness as I prefer to state it. Although in my view, there's no end to human development, as parts of my inner self just restructurate into higher holarchies of wholeness ad infinitum.

I'd say it's the adaptive process of harmonizing all forces to perform a desired task in a unified and efficient way. In my opinion, at every level balance happens because it's the interplay of polar opposites. Balance happens in multiplicity and it's a property of the intelligence of life. So the bottleneck of how we are able to properly balance our life and enhance our wellbeing may be intelligence and consciousness but it's balance what grounds it into action and life.

@Norbert Somogyi To me balance is not about repressing fragments of our psyche by the "CEO" archetype and to push further aside shadow work to keep the ongoing momentum. For me balance it's all about leting every part of my self and shadow to have a seat at the table of my mind. Maybe it’s not either resist or surrender, but a third path: relating. What part of yourself are you not letting speak in the table? That's what is causing the imbalance. And after so much resistance, that disowned part of you rebels and steers the wheel of your life for a while; next morning the sun shines and you say: Oh what have I done? And then back again the CEO kicks him out of the table. Does this sound familiar brother? You have to bring balance to your inner world and how to properly do that only you can say. Also consider shadow work is a very broad and personal subject and the metaprinciple of balance may not be detailed enough to handle all of its nuances.

I liked how you often describe Infinity as an object and then we finally get to Reality and the present experience. Although this time I shifted from object to subject and went through the logical steps and it certainly gives a nice personal twist to Infinity. The Infinite Subject

You can be extremely balanced. Certainly extreme unbalance is not desirable and must be corrected. Even if a simple parametre like your ph is unbalanced you die. So ironically if you wanna be extreme in a pursuit it's equally important to strike the right balance, otherwise you burn yourself and quit or torture yourself to success by destroying your health and other areas of your life. I'm advocating for a personal and sophisticated balance.

This episode feels like an introduction to Divine Logic.

Hey this is Leo from Vatican.org This would make for such a funny costume video like he used to do for Halloween, but Leo's not cool anymore -
I read it all. I find it interesting to know about your journey. You feel more aware and complete now than in previous posts. Take care and continue integrating.

I'd add the word permanent. The permanent dissolution of the separate self. -

Then why did you say Leo never defined states of consciousness? I'm puzzled now -

I'm currently reading that book, it's good. In my view, seriousness doesn't mean grumpiness, you can be seriously funny!😂 For me it's about the quality of intention, the clarity of decision and its constant execution. -

Nope, or maybe Leo already did a 2h long episode on that. Check it! Truly brilliant. See this is unserious. You haven't even bothered to check the main channel or previous responses from the search function in the forum. -
Regarding you blog post on states I agree wholeheartedly. In fact, your video on States of Consciousness is Everything has been the most instrumental in making sense of the workings of consciousness. I would be so puzzled without such insight and it really is a muscle I've developed: to explore different states of consciousness and my ability to shift between them. Even I've started combining them, getting independently into states of at high definition consciousness and clarity; then getting into expansive states, where I expand into my room, the sky and so on; finally I discovered you can combine states into a new state. To merge panoramic consciousness & fine-grained consciousness into an aesthetic phenomenologically sublime state of consciousness. Thanks to states I know why I am not God Conscious all the time despite being God and all the weird corners of consciousness and Infinity that Reality can permute into. It's such a central aspect of consciousness and for me it displays the feminine quality or innate workings or the fabric of Consciousness & Infinite Mind. You can get Absolute Consciousness (masculine or the God-I-Infinity) but to grasp the mechanics of consciousness is equally important to make sense of the present experience and the spiritual path. From such understanding, one can easily see how religion, sex, sport or drugs are but doors for realms of states of consciousness, like keys opening the Infinite Mind of God.

Once in Vindhyachal Ashram Sri Anandamayi Ma was descending the stairs. I was with her, I saw that there lay a large round worm in the middle of one of the steps. Thinking this would cause Sri Ma inconvenience I pushed it down with my foot. Ma stopped immediately and said to me, 'Go and make your obeisance to it.’ I replied, "Mā, it's just a worm!' In a stern manner Ma said, ‘That God who dwells within you also dwells within that worm.’ I had to go and make my obeisance to it. Only after that did Ma continue down the stairs.

How can I be more balanced in my life? How can I be more balanced now? Am I too tense or too relaxed? What activities throw me out of balance? Why? What activities get me into a nice inner balance? How can my room be more in equilibrium? What parts of my life are more out of balance? What is the type of balance that I need in my life?

Hi @Yidaki, Do you have any prior experiences with psychedelics? How does weed affect you in particular? I'd say that the ramp-up method is the sane approach towards the Salvia realm. Consider that the substance has various thresholds of experience, so one mini-hit more can mean breakingthrough into that state of consciousness, maybe in it you can take more hits till one breaks you through into a more bizarre world, at some point you won't be able to move and may lose body awareness and memory completely and be in non-human green zip universe. So it's a wide spectrum that going slow allows you to decide when to stop instead of getting catapulted to it. What I most like about Salvia is the nonhuman, alien, bizarre states of consciousness that presents, it allows room for very creative, nonconventional thoughts and new angles to reflect about oneself and life.
