I share the same feeling. You would expect The Spirituality section of the forum to be of the highest quality, it is not. Why?

There many different types of intelligence: there is logical intelligence, emotional intelligence, Bodily-kinesthetic intelligence... There's also philosophical or existential intelligence. The former is what society ranks more in these tests, the latter is what is beneficial for Awakening. Holistic Intelligence would be intelligence in all these domains, Alien Intelligence? It's actually fascinating to contemplate about this. Intelligence is it's own reward; a unique joy.

You see, during a combat sport, committing a mistake or making the other commit a mistake is a difference you learn quick. In BJJ, you are constantly setting traps for the adversary and so is he doing. @tvaeli I'll maybe post a longer answer, but in short: You are intelligent but you lack mystical experiences. The correct things you say are due to your intelligence and what you have been able to decipher from second hand experience. You wouldn't be able to generate that body of knowledge from your own consciousness because you have not Awaken enough for that. You are strong in the intelligence side, you need to invest your coins on having mystical experiences and a change in your state of consciousness. Nothing can substitute an Awakening. Once you get in tune with your inner Self, with consciousness, with Reality, then your vivid intelligence will make sense of it and in ultimate instance, God will answer all your questions in a flash of Infinity.

@Buck Edwards Discernment, seeing what something is beyond bias and personal interpretation. Direct consciousness, recognising the nature of something, tacit insight. Truth should be above negative and positive. That is the big picture I'm sure you are aware of, but it's true that the correct balancing act in the way you talk to yourself is hard to strike. Self-Love is my rule of thumb for self-talk, love can be both harsh and soft
