I see. There are people that find themselves in the opposite situation, they are super good in keeping relationships but cannot break the barrier of socializing and meeting new people. Yes, there are difference between socializing and mantaining long term relationships. I just wanted to point out a common feature among both of them: connection. I wonder in your case, why is it that you're not able to keep friendships over time?
-
Oh yes this is great, to make the connection in the present moment. Great tip.

@Carl-Richard Thanks for sharing the Martin Ball video. It was interesting to watch. I didn't know him, def a genetic freak. I feel so good just after watching his shaktipat. Good stuff. -
I've done lots of MALT, let's see how they compare. It was so good it has been my main tool, lately I've been using 5meo and wanted to try other psychedelics. DPT will probably be the first one. I have DMT but in fumarate so still contemplating how to go about the ROA.

Yes, that's my take. I meditate for baseline consciousness and mindfullness. I even get quite epic Awakenings in meditation, spiritual practices or spontaneously but I ain't gonna get into Salvia Consciousness or DMT realms.

@r0ckyreed For what I've researched seems quite a legit system. My experience with breathing awareness is the shift that happens from human-breathing to universal-breathing. Suddenly, I see the whole room and universe breathing, in and out. That's the further I've reached with such techniques, it's good as one gets to Oneness states of consciousness and from there you can combine with other techniques. What I like about breathing is that if mastered as practice its benefits follow you, as one breathes all the time, it's easy to reconnect. -

I would add something of movement. Like yoga, sport or breathing. It's gonna be hard to drop into surrender and relaxed awareness without deep connection with the body and working on the tension side. I feel your practice is good on the mental and more elevated side but you need to work into the embodied, energetic, mind-body connection. Practices that go from body to mind and consciousness is Yoga. The Vipassana uses mind to feel body and penetrate into the pure consciousness of phenomena (In away self inquiry is vipassana of the Self). That's also a way, but my point is to get the full spectrum. I see this issue again and again when I'm working with people in the path. They get good with that one technique or collection of techniques for one dimension of consciousness and they get stuck there. Why? Because when you work only in one dimension, at a certain point, each cm you progress is gonna get harder and harder, like a spring. The intelligent way is to go through a round of practice in the other dimensions of consciousness, once done, people are surprised, now the breakthrough in my cherished technique is so direct. I would have payed hundreds of euros for this advice years ago. It has been the key to accelerating my spiritual path. I know play the piano of my consciousness with all its notes to create the mystical melody I will. -

I do pranayama and the Wim Hof method. I've checked the source you've given and seems quite a detailed system of breath awareness, I haven't gone that deep into the pranic levels of awareness alone, but I do it as part of my vipassana practice. I do self-inquiry sometimes and contemplation is part of my philosophy work. I do all modern practices honestly. At least I've done them till the point of decent grasp and then it's like a tool that I may use when needed. Although I stick regularly to kundalini yoga by Yogigems, meditation by Michael Thaft and classic vipassana. -

When I feel sleepy in meditation I try to add more active components like simple breathing technique, otherwise I do some yoga and come back or do some walking meditation. It's important to get the right relaxed attention for meditation to flow. -
@Nemra Very interesting that your DMT experiences motivated you to meditate again. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, that I call Human, not ego. Otherwise, I say: I or God. -
Def Society is collapsing if we all God-Realize. At least as we currently experience it and understand it.

Yeah, survival doesn't allow many people to contact this present moment directly. Survival is the biggest bottleneck; properly handling your life, outter prosperity and inner contentment, easily open up the way towards higher consciousness and Awakenings. Yes, that is so. There's no way around experience. I wonder why is that the case?

@Breakingthewall The everpresent nature of Reality is indeed very beautiful. -

For me, the way to sharp intuition is by serious feedback mechanisms after following through your intuition. By burning your feet in the fire of truth is that a solid and sharp intuition is developed.

@Jannes Yes, peak consciousness alters baseline consciousness, as a consciousness that has been so stretched cannot return to it's original contraction. In the same way, increasing baseline consciousness makes a nice solid foundation for the peak to land, as skyscrapers have always a nice underground base. This is a more nuanced point that can be built upon my original answer. Thanks for bringing it up. -

@Breakingthewall I see it the same way. I experienced the void and it's just like that. Although advanced meditators like Frank Yang claim that there is a deeper nothingness awakening which they call cessation where you hit rock bottom and consciousness reboots again the whole of Reality. That seems to have benefits in baseline consciousness and rewiring the brain. Although I've never understood the buzz for the nothingness Awakening. It's just another cool facet of Consciousness. -

Understand this point about spiritual disciplines. 1. Horizontal development. Works on baseline consciousness, mindfulness and maintaining awareness throughout the day. 2. Vertical development. Works on peak consciousness, huge intensity but short-lived, breakthroughs, insights and crazy Awakenings. So, meditation done 1h a day would be developing the horizontal axis (super important), but you ain't gonna get the crazy metaphysical, consciousness, Infinity, God Awakenings that Actualized.org describes. For that, you'll need hardcore meditation retreats, to build up the peak over days and weeks with meditation. You could say Leo is biased towards peak Awakenings and from that place said that everyday meditation will not yield peak results, which is true. But let's not forget Leo did everyday meditation for years and developed the horizontal axis as well. It's the same with athletes, they train endurance and marathons, but also explosive sprints. I have my everyday horizontal practices and then I take my psychedelic 🚀 -
What heals, can also kill. Sick and one pill saves you but 10 murders you. It's all about the right balance. Those people you mention that are Ketamine chronic consumers are using the substance in an abusive, hedonist way. Hence they get bad trips or bad experiences, they end up addicted and destroying their health and life. Technically speaking for this work we want Entheogens, which means Godly substances. What happens to be the case is that 99% of Entheogens are psychedelics. Then in the 1% you have Ketamine which is a sedative/downer and Salvia which is its own world, and a few other edge case substances. So yes Ketamine can lead you to God but it has not the purity and multidimensionality of psychedelics. Nevertheless, it's important to try non-psychedelic Entheogens because it hits Consciousness from a different angle while potentially reaching equally as high.

Absolutely so 💯. Glad we've both clicked. I'm so happy to have had this conversation. Yes, now I see. -
Because God imagined so.
