  1. Do you discuss and decide decisions with her? To me without that it seems you would lose most of the sense of a friendship in the relationship.
  2. I don't really see a distinction but I was just referring to this comment where he said we don't have free health care Yes we pay a ridiculous amount, it also correlates with how ridiculously unhealthy Americans are.
  3. Yeah, say you earned it, is she still like a friend to you? Do you enjoy her as a friend, not just her utility value and the sex. My view of romantic relationships is an intimate friendship, the man is more dominant but both work as a team in making decisions.
  4. I think he's actually being sincere, don't get me wrong I agree with your female analysis, but he has a fairly uncommon way of looking at romantic relationships, sort of the old 'women are completely subordinate' thing.
  5. Yeah, "sold out" just seems as scammy as the cards themselves, he will obviously milk this thing dry with future releases of new sets.
  6. You're WAY off man, it's 100% accessible. Our country moves as the majority of people see fit, you just don't like to believe you could be wrong about issues like everyone wanting a 'free' health system, we don't want that. Why would i want a health system that sucks? I see the people that go through it, I have no fears about it at all if I need it.
  7. Best healthcare system in the world by far, leading health science, people come here for care, not the other way around. Every citizen has equal say
  8. There are no wage slaves in the U.S.. I said "freer" not "free". The internet, the airplane, electricity, telephones; all of these came from private enterprise What has China created?
  9. I'm not an elitist and I don't want a 'free' healthcare system, and I don't know one person in real life that does. The people rule the U.S..
  10. Yes we're free, ZERO% wage slaves, that's all fallacy. Slavery means involuntary, the problem here is ignorant servitude. I don't mean China is not doing well, it is just it stymies innovation and creativity compared to a freer market
  11. Natives would call Red Progressive, Red would try leading them or forcing them from their traditions.
  12. Both meanings of the term liberal were being used, which I thought was causing some muddling of the conversation.
  13. With communism the Musk's would likely not get the abundance of money or resources he has to play with, it would be distributed by bureaucrats and for their desired ventures.
  14. Do you know your links poverty line is $1.90 a day? China partnered with the West. Where would China be without the west? North Korea USSR, yes they did those things, by enslaving the country, which keeps the trend from continuing for very long.
  15. Communism stymies technological growth, just compare China to the west, it's not even close. Take the COVID vaccine for example, China has struggled for decades against SARS, the west cures it in a year.
  16. Must not be too bad if you have to ask that question. Money and material really isn't anything, really isn't worth anything.
  17. Don't wait for me, I'm not looking for one for you.
  18. Man reading your posts I suggest you seek a psychiatrist, look for a free one online. You're on the internet, you have enough freedom to leave.
  19. If they were to leave poverty, they would lose what brought them out of poverty, which is cheap labor(poverty), they would have to restructure away from communism toward capitalism to sustain being a 'winning' state. China is not even in the conversation to be compared to Europe, Korea, Japan, the states, .... (the west) except in terms of economy
  20. But China's growth is based on having their society poor, if they were to leave poverty with their same framework they would lose dominance. China already is the largest economy by many metrics. China is a slave nation to the capitalist ones. Numbers don't equate to 'winning' in the real world.
  21. Liberal and conservative aren't strict opposites. The opposite of conservative is progressive The opposite of liberal is more like totalitarianism or authoritarianism
  22. 20th century America is your example for Capitalism? Yeah I think it was relatively more communitarian than now actually, there are just different variables at play now, more availability of desired things like healthcare. The self made man thing is more prevalent now, back then most people just worked like factory work until they died, fully content on not trying to do something on their own. They usually even worked the same job for the same company their entire life 16-70.
  23. I doubt I agree with how Alan Watts actually believed it, it could easily be misinterpreted. I agree get to 'enlightenment' but then live, live an actual life, enjoy everything, being 'attached' to everything, the key is to not be attached to just somethings, but ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING, that doesn't mean being a heroin user, but seeing the beauty in heroin.
  24. Anglo America was more communitarian than America is now actually, and the church played the socialist role to a 'T', and dictated social rules to a 'T'.
