FirstSportz firstsportz.com Chuck Hughes: The UNFORTUNATE time when an NFL player died on the field ... — It was eventually found that Chuck Hughes died due to a fatal heart attack, one of his arteries was clogged and restricted proper blood flow.

Players in the NFL have died right on the field from it.

This is actually not too uncommon of an occurrence, the NFL even produced a video in 2019 trying to spread education on it to try to save lives, the sooner aid is given the greater chance of survival NFL.com https://www.nfl.com › player-care Recognize, React, Rescue: Effectively Treating Sudden Cardiac Arrest Sep 26, 2019 — They say being hit in the chest can cause it. "A 2020 study of sudden death in soccer players worldwide found 617 players from 67 countries had suffered cardiac incidents from 2014 to 2018, with only 142 of them surviving, according to the study’s examination of the FIFA Sudden Death Registry. In the cases that do impact athletes, Schwartz said sudden cardiac death is more common in baseball and hockey players. Over 90% of those cases are among men, with over 75% occurring in athletes less than 25 years old, he said. Sudden cardiac death is the most frequent medical cause of sudden death in athletes, according to a 2016 study by a group of Massachusetts General Hospital physicians. A variety of young athletes have died from cardiac incidents of multiple types in recent decades. They include cases like figure skater Sergei Grinkov in 1995 (genetic anomaly), baseball player Darryl Kile in 2002 (blocked arteries), and basketball player Fab Melo in 2017 (heart attack). Steve McElvene (2016) to cardiac deaths. Those players collapsed and died away from the field of play. Some other athletes have suffered cardiac incidents during competition, sometimes on live TV, as happened to the Bills’ Damar Hamlin on Monday night. In 1971, NFL player Chuck Hughes collapsed during a Lions-Bears game and died of a cardiac condition. In 1990, college basketball player Hank Gathers fell during a Loyola Marymount game and died hours later. In 2007, during the U.S. Olympic Trials marathon, Ryan Shay collapsed and died that day of a cardiac incident. However, there have been many players who have suffered cardiac incidents and survived. same happened in 2020 to then-University of Florida basketball player Keyontae Johnson, who is now back on the court. And multiple NHL hockey players who collapsed during games — Jiri Fischer, Rich Peverley, Chris Pronger and others — survived their cardiac incidents." Caption

No it's not healthy to do it constantly, most people already have enough negativity in their lives already. If you start feeling down there's a good chance you're reading too much of that stuff. Try to find 'balance', whatever keeps you in 'peace'. -
Does anyone have an online collection or a physical cookbook for healthy recipes they like. I like rice dishes, pretty good cook, usually prefer cooked over raw food like salads, love fish,.... Also; post healthy food ideas, mega thread style

Could anyone recommend a Cork Yoga Mat? I don't have a problem with sweat, I just like natural materials. I may just wind up getting some cork underlayment and leaving it in a spare bedroom too if anyone has messed with that. 5'11", not picky, seeking durability and cushion.

Those weren't suggestions, it was a question. Yeah you're following fallacies, no matter your circumstances if you follow those you will feel empty and miserable. You need nothing more than you have to experience every "intensive emotion or dare mighty things".
-
@Ramzi08 You can enjoy, you can experience joy right now, all the time, you need no different or particular circumstances. You can experience total love, complete fulfillment, complete acceptance, you can experience being a positive difference in the world, you need no other circumstances or skills. Is there anything, anything at all you can do right now that you enjoy? Watching the sky, the stars, the water, nature, clouds, drinking a nice glass of water, doing some yoga, just laying out under the sun, eating an orange, a walk through nature, exercising, sleeping......?

Immerse yourself in the 'culture', see the beauty in it, experience that way of life. Until you can leave. Accept it, don't guilt yourself, or judge yourself for the low conscious behavior. Try to enjoy the experience, the people, the culture, see the beauty. -
Do you think one person in the world being loving and joyful would be unimportant? Imagine knowing someone like that personally, they're not famous but imagine how that would affect the people he encounters, and then those people affect the people they encounter. That's an everlasting effect.
-
It's not about fame or notoriety, it's about your peace and joy. Your peace is your piece(the 'difference' you make). Maslow's lower needs usually need met first by the way, climb the pyramid in the given order.

He didn't want to go to Christmas, that would be him violating his own boundary. I can't imagine he would feel this way if they weren't toxic and manipulative, he obviously needs time to process the manipulation to even have a clue as to how to try an communicate his boundaries to them verbally. He's absolutely being a man, he's actually working on the problem.
-
Similar here. You have to be loving to yourself, you can't be loving otherwise, and it's the only path to be loving to your family. You setting boundaries is the only loving thing you can do to your family right now, no matter how sloppy and unsure of your decisions you are.

I don't mean you are a Marxist, I mean your view in this thread is, despite you claiming the competing view is Marxist. Well I appreciate you offering pitfalls that you see, that's not how I would characterize your behavior here without this explanation. To me your "pitfalls" are still irrelevant to the thread. I don't see anywhere mentioned where the children are not allowed to use traditional pronouns, I only see where it says teachers use their names instead.
-
@Danioover9000 I'm talking about the article exclusively, not about all Swedish policy. You can have these pre schools AND traditional parenting, why should schools indoctrinate? And no the pre school is not indoctrinating or conformist, parenting can be traditional, or whatever. Why should the government decide gender roles(Your stance)? You're being the marxist, conformist, and indoctrinator; let the parents raise their children as they see fit and let the school teach 2+2. Do you also think traditional race roles are important?

I watched most of the video, I feel I see what you're getting at, I disagree this has anything to do with the article, the article is about not steering boys to doy 'boy things' and girls to do 'girl things'. The video is about 'you're the gender your're perceived to be'(right?). I find you pushing this in this thread to be reactive and inconsiderate. The article is not about identifying gender, it's about not putting kids in boxes. https://www.google.com/amp/s/qz.com/1006928/swedens-gender-neutral-preschools-produce-kids-who-are-more-likely-to-succeed/amp

I will watch the video. I was only commenting on the OP's article, I have no idea about what else they're doing in the country(the parent's and blogger you mentioned), to be honest it doesn't interest me. I was just commenting on the specific example, I have zero knowledge to comment on anything wider really.
-
Has anyone known anyone that was raised by conscious parents? This includes your children. What were the unique struggles? I suspect the children wouldn't mix in extremely well with the crowd.
-
Alright this makes a little more sense, but the article doesn't mention correcting the children's language, it's only the teacher's language.
-
All they're doing is instead of saying "he's right!", they say "Timmy's right", Instead of having the boys and girls toys in separate areas, they're all stored mixed together. Instead of saying "Knock it off boys!", they say "Knock it off kids!". Did you read the article?
-
Could you provide an example?
-
They're not teaching anything about gender.
-
It's the opposite of grooming, they don't teach 'you're not a boy', they just don't teach gender identity at all. "All the girls know they are girls, and all the boys know that they are boys. We are not working with biological gender - we are working with the social thing."
