  1. Hello guys. I am lately up to personal development, meditating since January and reading related stuff. But I am also a comitted Christian and I want to develop myself in rules of Christianity. I mean I dont endlessly belive in what Church and Pope are saying and always want to approval from Holy Bible. For example I dont care if author of meditation was Christian or Buddhist or if Church said that meditation is bad - for me is important that I dont have to worship or invoke another god, item or relate to religion. I actually except Jesus admire some of Budda teaching. I was reading lately - The power of now by Eckhart Tolle and I was trully delighted even when there was so many quotes from Jesus and Budda. Now I want to go far and reveal new ascpects of personal development. It's possible to go Christian way and learn and use Chakras as well as Reiki? And if yes do you recommend some kind of book? Like I planning to buy Chakras for beiginner by David Pond and hesitate if there wasn't be any magic and ivoke unknows demonic power.   2. Actually I know Anki for a long time but I dont mean this kind of app. I want some app similiar to lumosity but free that can stimulate me brain by solving some tasks, etc. And btw Anki is pretty cool app so I recomend it as well

  4. Hello guys, how can I overcome problem with being furiously mad while learning and can't trully understand content of book. I mean I am a law student and I have to deal with advanced level book. Almost every single sentence I have to read 4-5 times and be really focus on it. If I read for example 5 lines and realize that I have no idea what have just read I am beign angry and things going even worse than because I can focus on book. And there is also another problem with that thought come to my mind while reading and I am reading without understanding. It doesn't bother me with another not that hard book but still I have to read that advanced one aswell. How to overcome that?
  5. Hello guys, I read a book lately - The power of your subconsious mind. I was wondering about all things that I have been read there and if it's really works as it was described. I would like you show you some content from that book which I coppy during the reading a book. Also there was a lot of information about visualization. Author said that we should sit in a armchair, calm and peace for a little and as we get into relax and meditate stage we should start visualization things if a lot of confidence and emotion behind it with many many details. There was a story in this book about men who want to sell his house. He set the big "FOR SALE" board around his house and then start to visualization in his mind how he get the board and hide it in garage like it would have been already sold. Next day he actually sold it in real. I am not sure what should i think about that but even I that's not exactly the truth ( I tried some things from during reading time - like I order myself and me subconsious mind to be happy and actally it's working. I don't know if that's not all about related with placebo or so but still I feel great ). I want to use it with aspects like improve memory and learn more effective, gain wealth and to improve me relationship such as find the perfect partner. But as I was looking around I also found vote against it. It's from reasarch of dr. Gabriele Oettingen. I found information that she using modified law of actraction which was introduced in her book ,,Rethinking positive thinking". And I wonder if anyone of you read that one and could say something about that because I am not from England/USA and it's really hard for me to get books like that. What do you think about it all. I paste some screens from the first book I mentioned also. And sorry for my horrible English but I hope you will be able to understand my permise.
  6. Hi guys, This question bother me from the moment I started meditation. So have been doing it for 2 months so far. I did like 8-14 minuts meditation per day and for about month I didn't skip any day. How can I be sure if I am doing things right because I don't notice anything special and foremost I dont even know what should I gain from meditation.
  7. Hello guys, I have got 2 issues that i cannot hadle with. So the first one is that I know that this is unhealthy and so on but if I didn't eat before sleep and I have to eat solid meal I have trouble with sleep. I just lying down and it's hard for me to actually fall asleep. How to deal with that. And the second one is that when I am in collage, working, etc. I dont have neediness to eat so much but when I am at home the whole day even if I am learning or especially when I am learning or watching videos related with personal improvment I would eat much more than other days and I am constantly hungry. I am notice also that when I sleep really well and enough time and I am in a good mood, feel relaxed I also have tendency to eat more. What can I do about that?   8. Hey guys, I would like to know what are you thinking about The Law of Actractions. It's related to book Think and grow rich written by Napoleon Hill. I was specifficaly wondering about autogenics issue. And as well as that what do you think about The Secret movie. Sorry for my bad English but I tried to write it as perfect as I can. Greetings
