Let me answer for you: never. Never.

Of course proper diet and exercise will help fight off illness. Literally everybody knows this. Every. Single. Person. I got covid and shook it off like it was nothing. But that's just me because I'm young and have an amazing immune system.

Calling it a "stupid gpt thing" is kind of weird, when there are abundant examples of really amazing things it can already do, and the technology is still in its infancy. You're also correct that it is nowhere near the realm of science fiction and the people who purport that don't really have any understanding of the underlying technology, so it's easy for them to get caught up in hype I guess.

The term "AI" itself is just a buzzword. It's not actual AI in any remote sense. It's just more advanced versions of standard algorithms we already have, just with larger datasets and more computing power. For some reason that seems really hard for certain people to understand.
