This is true. I've had times where I would focus on pickup at the expense of spending time w friends and family and at other times I focus more friendships and family but don't get laid. ideally I want both, but if that doesn't work at the time the second best option is to switch priorities every few months.

Maturity is realizing that you can't get everything. Also people start from different points, of course becoming a trillionaire is easier if you are elon musk which comes from a wealthy family than if your dad was in prision. Knowing the cards you have and managing expectations it's not being negative, it's being mature.

My take is that AI is both very revolutionary tech and a bubble, The entire US economy is in a very delicate situation where companies are full of schemes for pumping stock and government is starting wars to create demand for dollars to stop inflation. Logically it should all collapse but we are talking about the biggest economy in the world, there are so manny players involved(even China is invested in the US) that I believe this situation may extend indefinitely. Everybody, even the government are turning a blind eye. No one wants the fairy tale to end. Where is all the capital going to go if everybody sells their stock? It can't stay in cash for too long due to inflation

I have an unpopular opinion without reading the book... fastlanes are overrated and slow lanes and underrated, The idea of getting things fast is great for selling books but relies too much on luck. You can do a lot on slow lanes just need 2 decades of consistent work and no BS. Fastlanes promise getting there faster, but unless you get lucky will end up wasting a lot of time on short term solutions that don't work.

@LordFall I realized this in my early 20s and put all my savings in international accounts and worked fully remote since. Location independece helped me grow a lot, I still get payed by the hours I put but being in control of my schedule and where to work in the world is nice. My current goal is not get passive income but rather increase my hr rate. I think passive income is overvalued, you can have a great life if you charge 70$/hr and live in a cheap country(I live in Argentina)

@LordFall I loved it but have to be very careful. Colombia is dangerous. I stayed in the nice neighborhoods and was extra careful before going on a date. Had no issues but you never fully relax if you want to minimize danger.

@Valach I realized i makes no sense for me to think about serious relationships with quality women If can't even get sex from them. I believe being able to get quality and quantity sex comes before targetting for serious relationship

@Valach I lose sanity after 3 months without sex(prostitutes don't count). I could never spend years without it like some guys here. I would rather put my career to a halt and fly to Colombia or some region where it's easier to get it. I've done this before during dry times. I'm at my healthiest moment right now where rather than being passive until I reach a point of dispair I consistently go out at least once a week. It's psychological, there is no physical reason why I couldn't go years without sex. My mind can't conceive that situation

Last time I got laid was in early December, 2025 from a cold approach at the park. I told the girl I didn't want to see her again after to search for someone better. I go out every Saturday and do about 15 direct cold approaches. I need much more Sex to be happy so I think about this problem a lot. Seems like for an average man today the default mode is to become an incel unless we put a ton of work.
