You are confusing tier 2 from being rich, they are different things. When you become tier 2 you attract other tier 2 people. Rich people don't care who are you unless you can help them make more $, they are often tier 1. You are assuming most rich are tier 2.

@blankisomeone You carry their energy with you for real? I am very sensitive of my body and energy and I've hooked up with around 30 girls from Tinder some of which were very unstable psychogically and I never felt like I was carrying their energy. Is this a real thing? Can't you just decide to not carry it? use the person for your pleasure and move on, I think that's what hookups are about.

I feel like discipline has levels that can be measured (loosely) by spiral dynamics lense. The starter level is about waking up early and grinding my ass which would be stage blue or orange, I did this in my 20s where I would plan the entire day and try to squeeze my time the most, people used to tell me I was extremely disciplined. As I matured I've started to treat it very differently. Now at 31, my schedules are extremely flexible and I try to do whatever I want as much as possible. I still live a healthy life because I have high goals but I don't stress nearly as much as before, for example: I eat mostly healthy but If I want to eat fast food or drink some wine at any time I do it without remorse. I no longer use daily, weekly or monthly planners, what for if I already know what I want to achieve this week? I feel more disciplined now than before because I achieve my goals and when I must work extra hours I force myself to do it. But in general I try to enjoy my day as much as possible. I feel like I have reached the Yellow level of discipline where I don't push myself too much but I am able to grind if needed. Or maybe I became lazy and I am just biased, but my new lifestyle feels much better and long term oriented than before What are your thoughts?

It's your ability to do hard things, things you are not comfortable with. Eg: any type of work that is hard for us -
It would be useful if screen is detachable from keyboard and it becomes an Ipad when detached. Else as Macbook and Ipad user I see no usable usecase for it. If it were free or I were rich it doesn't hurt to have it

I am going through an extremely lonely and boring time in my life. I've been feeling lonely and depressed for several months. I am working on changing my lifestyle to improve this but I am thinking on a booster to help me relax since I become too dense and forget to socialize and to chill. My ideal is to take 1g of shrooms every Saturday as a mood booster and go around my normal week and do this as a routine every week. it's a small dose so I would barely feel the effects. Would be a midway between macro and micro dosing. Anyone tried this?
-
@Leo Gura Thanks for replying! My question was not about taking 1g once, it's about taking 1g every week for a year, do you see any dangers, like for example messing up my Neurochemistry? I am very curious about this experiment

I've done both and got great synergy between the two. Psychedelics make your old patterns more loose so you can wire new ones BUT only if you go out and take action. If I had to choose only one, I would always choose taking action. No amount of psychedelics alone will fix your life if you don't get out of your comfort zone. But psychedelics are a nice booster when you reach a ceiling.

This journal is going back to being about game only, it's been a long time so don't have much to share yet. I invited my ex to a trip in Brazil next year and she said yes. this is the only game update so far. I hope to get more soon.
-
This is my first game journal, I've started gaming 3 years and 9 months ago. have gotten laid 20 times and was in a 9 month serious relationship since then and have approached close to 300 girls mostly at daygame some at nightgame. Didn't game all weeks but had couple weeks a year where I would focus more on game and then focus on LP for the rest of the year. I have grown a lot but still struggle a lot to connect with other people, specially women. I'm 28 years old. If I can nail this thing when I reach 30 that would be good. I'm setting this goal.

I have been extremely worried about my financial situation this year. I never imagined that after 11 years of work experience and since past years have been so good I would barely make enough to pay for living expenses and tuition. I did not want to take next semester off out of fear that it would decrease my chances of landing better clients but I can't live like this. In today's job market no one seems to give a shit about my university degree in progress. I can't base life decisions on how this would look like to prospective employers. I don't want to live like this. Before this year I always did whatever I wanted with fear but courage and without letting fear stop me from what I wanted to do. and everything worked out very well. If job market continues being so shitty then at some point I will give up on my high ideals of working for the betterment of society and I will take a shitty job. I can only do so much, I will do my best but while enjoying life and taking care of me. Then the ball is in god's court. I will take a semester off, still work part time at current job and take it easy. if mid 2027 I can't land a good full time job aligned with LP or increase my salary then I will take a shitty job at a shitty software company to build some capital and make progress at university and maybe go back to the aspirations of getting a job aligned with LP a few years later, like in 2029, I would be 34 by then. But I won't try the impossible and destroy my life trying to land a job in a market where the expectations for good remote jobs are impossible to achieve.

I'm starting this journal today. a super quick presentation I am 28 years old, my birthday was 2 weeks ago. I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina and work remotely as an AI engineer. Tomorrow I will travel to Colombia to see my long distance/ non monogamy girlfriend. I am happy I'm leaving Buenos Aires before Winter hits, this is becoming boring. Colombian girlfriend has been getting intense in the last weeks so not sure if we will still be together when I come back. Also when I arrive to Bogota I'm excited to enroll at a coworking space and at the Gym.Since I work from home I have not met any new people for a while and became less social and less happy, want to improve this. I will try to go to a coworking couple times a week and talk to some new people.

I am burned out, this year was the hardest I can recall since 2012. I worked a lot and saw very little money. which made it a very boring year since money was too tight to travel or fund adventures. I noticed I developed a resentful mood, since i am all the time grinding and I don't see results I get stressed and tired and my loneliness problem becomes worse since at time of stress I become much less social. For The next 4 months I will relax, summer is coming, I will take next semester off at university and use the money I save on tuition to make a trip, maybe invite my ex, I will buy new clothes and ordered a new pair of glasses. I will take the next few months easier and try to enjoy myself, read more, meditate, go back to my workout routine. I had an insight today, I am resentful because I am not investing time in myself. studying for university, working and investing wisely is investing in my future self. but my current self is suffering because he doesn't give a shit about the future, my current self needs to enjoy the now. My soul has been suffering this entire year, working on the computer every day which I like but I didn't gave my soul any new experiences or connections to enjoy. So it's time to listen to what the present me and my soul wants, I noticed I haven't been investing time in personal development, in journaling, meditating taking care of my mind. These things make me happy now, they make me relax.< I tried this for a few hours and I already feel better. I feel this is the way, take a semester off, enjoy myself a bit

I disagree, the receiver may never open it or it may change their life. That's the magic of it, the possibilities it opens. Some books are designed so that you can read isolated mini-chapters without committing to reading the entire thing. Also they look nice on a library even if it wasn't read. But if given as a gift it must be given without any strings attached.

If she got drunk because she decided to get drunk. ie: you didn't manipulate her to get drunk. and she really wanted to hookup, ie: you did not push her or manipulate it then it's totally moral IMO. People and young women specially have this issue were they don't want to be held accountable for their actions. They decided to get drunk and in that state they decided to have sex with a guy, assuming they guy didn't push her too much, these were all her decisions. Also at night young women(and men) get drunk on purpose so they can do things that they want but don't have the guts to do when sober. If she got drunk and robbed a bank, should we let her free because she was drunk?

Couldn't agree more. I love conservatism and I would vote for a sound right wing party but this radical right wing wave of Trump, Bolsonaro, Milei(In my country, Argentina) is extremely toxic. I mean, they don't even believe in science, come on guys! -
@Butters Besides the fun Bali seems a nice place for networking. Do you recommend it?
-
Hostels do this a lot, they allow you to live there for free and may even give you free meals in exchange for part time work. I have a friend who has been volunteering like this in Colombia for 8+ months. He's now in a 4 star resort next to the beach and always uploads cool stories of partying w girls and kayaking. Sounds fun

I think I'm too anxious and should take the time to read all comments carefully before replying but how much time do you spend doing that? Replying without reading it all can produce comments that are out of context or that someone else already posted. Do you read all the comments before replying or is there some process you follow? This is a meta question. Some ideas to approach this: - just take it easy and lower the bar for the quality of my comments - use AI to read threads, goes a long with lowering the standard - be picky and choose only very few threads to read carefully, no one is forcing me to read so be picky and only reply things that add value.

Would maintain all the same activities I do today. but with a lot more travel, psychedelics and (unprotected) sex. Also for fun I may send to kill some billionaires(or trillionaire) which I consider dangerous for society. -
I am reading this book now thanks to this thread. I feel identified with everything the author says but I am not a woman. I think that the book is more about feminine energy(which men also have), not just biological women. What's your take on this?
-
Books alone are not going to solve your problem. I would say read the books you want in you free time. But use your time to take action, some things you could try: - travel to other countries just to explore or move - enroll at university in person or online - apply to jobs( in person or online) - start a tourism agency - sell things for tourists, could also be services of any kind, like: for opening business/bank accounts in georgia, etc - sell weed and psychedelics to tourists. - some online business or service? - in general try and explore until something works, this may take you 10 years but it often works, it worked for me and I've seen it work for others. Reading is nice to get some context and ideas on whats possible but at some point more information becomes a trap. I've seen people spend their days reading and listening to podcasts and never executing on their dreams. The best ideas I got them from real people I met while trying random stuff rather than from books. - it may not work, but what else can you do?

I'm not American, Argentinian here. but work for US companies and even study a masters remote at American university. So I'm reliant on the US situation. I consider myself a virtual US citizen -

Who could keep voting for the current administration? AFAIK everyone but top 1% elites is having a hard time. -
It amazes me that they wrote better call Saul after breaking bad. They are so well connected it's as is Vince thought about the backstory while writing Breaking bad. Also Better call Saul is not just about Saul, it shows the development of characters like: Mike, Tuco, Hector Salamanca, Gustavo Fring and the whole cartel backstory So manny interested characters he developed
