  1. Possible Nihilism? I really think spending time sitting down and journaling and questioning this feeling would be a really good idea.
  2. @Visitor Yep that's it. It's like watching a dog morph into a cat, except you don't see it morph. You just all of a sudden see it as a cat. Completely spontaneous.
  3. I have these two skits that make clear distinctions of: stuck positions, staying stuck in concepts or even thoughts, talking to someone with awareness and talking to someone without awareness, the importance of making tons of distinctions and perspectives and how the distinctions you make shape the world you see. This will help show you where awareness happens, from stepping out of the finite into the infinite and getting a grasp on the holistic perspective or stepping out of Costello's perspective (the guy on the left). Who’s on first? It’s easier to say “Who’s” on first. One could make that distinction easier. Consider “who” to be the absolute --the thing that is presented as a finite thing (when I say finite I mean the label that shows up in your mind or even external reality.) and the separate distinction “” to be the awareness or even infinity ( again, just labels). In this case you could say that this “” is another distinction, which it is, but this is where the mistake shows up. Cause how do we describe this “”? Well, we can call them quotation marks, creating another distinction or punctuation marks, yet another distinction and we can keep doing this, make more and more “accurate” distinctions etc. But instead of going in that direction, let’s bring it back to it’s form “”. So we have these quotation marks. We could boil it down to deeper definitions and continue down that road, but that would be missing the meta awareness here, if we did this we would be Costello in this case ( the guy on the left), So what is this “”? Well, it can’t actually be described. BY DEFINITION (or absolutely, finitely, descriptively, visibly) Any descriptions of it MAKES it into a finite thing, which it itself is not. It’s the difference in you opening your eyes and seeing the world and then closing them and seeing nothing (I’m not even talking about blackness or even the label “nothing”) it’s so NOT A THING it’s completely spontaneous. And this “making” is for a different discussion. "There is no you. you are everything." This quote could give one leverage to step out of their position into a more holistic position. But of course, it's still a position, and I think continuing doing this process could really help one break free from their finite nature. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this! If you didn't understand anything well hopefully you enjoyed the videos haha
  4. What do I call this process of humbling myself and making the effort to understand? Been thinking about this and can't really find the word for it. A little backstory is lately the thing I've come to realize more and more is that the more I understand, the more I realize how much I don't know, and it's been becoming slightly frustrating to me, feels like I'm always taking 5 steps backwards the more I dive, but of course, I'm on top of it and pushing through it, just looking for a good word or concept for this. Thanks.
  5. Not to sound too harsh but this post just sounds like a guy who gave up trying to have sex a long time ago and he's doing everything he can to maintain his identity from this idea of "sex" and making it out to be some disturbing act. You haven't even tried it. And even if you did try.. With your current attitude towards it there's no way in hell you could allow yourself to enjoy it because it's already disgusting in your eyes. Maybe one day you can open yourself up to it though.
  6. @SOUL truthfully I enjoy being meticulous and rigorous about articulating my perceptions in an accurate and cohesive way but it was slowly turning toxic, I'll still continue to be that way but more conscious and allowing myself to be in a state of not knowing.
  7. Leo's video on confusion
  8. @Bebop@SOUL@Arman@Loreena Update: Just watched the video @TJ Reeves, massive revelation, illusion of clarity, false sense of clarity, what a perfect description for this feeling. I actually am aware of my “need to know” habit in this entire post including my conclusions about this insight all together, Thanks guys!
  9. @TJ Reeves Contemplating contemplation. Now we're talking
  10. @TJ Reeves Nah that's not it either, although contemplation is definitely a component. It feels more like a diligent regress, that's the best way I can describe it, in fact I'll probably just go with that until I stumble across something
  11. @Bebop nah that's not it @SOUL No, not really, but it would help make my distinctions more refined and more proportionate
  12. @Dodo @cetus56 there's really no need to inflate what's being said here and jump to a bunch of conclusion, he's only pointing at the extreme guess work that goes into creating an "accurate" perception of reality with the illusory nature of making predictions based on basically nothing, meaning, the issue of looking in on ourselves, not just trying to create an accurate perception in the body but in the mind or consciousness. Consciousness is trying to look at itself, and since it can't, instead of looking at what is actually there, as biological entities we've become more concerned about if its running well or not, because for all we know, the biological systems are keeping us conscious and we want to stay alive and conscious right?
  13. This is the most ego driven post I've ever seen. As though you couldn't leave without telling others they dont know shit and telling them they're too serious. Notice thats all your shit and not others shit.
  14. definitely, but the real magic trick being played here is of our own existence, and that can be a very serious game we play with ourselves and others, people have massacred each other over that one.
  15. This is a really good video, I love the distinction he makes between controlled hallucination vs uncontrolled hallucination and that when we agree about our hallucinations, we call that reality. "we predict ourselves into existence." That's true not knowing right there.
  16. For me, here and now are one in the same. The only difference in the distinction one makes about it. In this sense you could say consciousness IS the WHOLE from which you view it, while at the same time its just a distinction. I love playing with the limits of rationality and communication.
  17. The ultimate lie/illusion --> fear! (Not to make "the ultimate" a definitve statement but you get the idea.)
  18. Consciousness. Especially in the moment when someone or something triggers you or effects you. Notice the thoughts and interpretations going on in your mind and you'll see it for yourself.
  19. @Visitor Haha well you can't really argue with that, you weren't actually there and never experienced it, but you can read about it or hear about it in detailed accounts.
  20. @Vladimir I didnt intend for it to come off as harsh, I'm just saying its easy to create an amazing 20-30-40 year vision and talk and be self righteous towards anyone who disagrees with it or even has something to say about it. Its another thing to be doing the things necisary and facing the harsh realities to actually manifest it. I want that vision too. But the reality is there's a lot of inner work I gotta do to manifest something like that, and that alone will probably take me 10-15 years. If you just expect people to be on board you're in for a very rude awakening to the complex systems at work that will prevent you from getting there. A systems thinker would recognize that aserting your vision to everyone and telling them to get on board is just not gonna work.
  21. From the Latin word illuminatus, meaning enlightened or illuminated. I'm all for your post but to me its all talk. Your either already working towards it or your just talking a bunch of shit. Also this is a direct quote from the Illuminati website --> "The Illuminati is an elite organization of world leaders, business authorities, innovators, artists, and other influential members of this planet. Our coalition unites influencers of all political, religious, and geographical backgrounds to further the prosperity of the human species as a whole." Sound familiar?
