@sleeperstakes Too much introversion, not enough extroversion. Meaning --> Less self-conscious, more spontaneous, less filters over everything you're thinking or want to say, recognizing the value in being with others (an opportunity to build social skills and learning to be happy no matter who you're with or what you're doing)

I've been using Google Docs for over a year, its been perfect, definitely an underrated app, watching Leo's video though I can see it's limited compared to OneNote but it's been doing it's job very well for all my stuff.

@Spiral I've had a friend do the same thing, I called him out on it in a light hearted way, and then said "it's a lot easier to criticize others than to look at ourselves." He was like, "yeah shit, you're right." It's not bad, its just a lack of turning inward.

@Serotoninluv the conversation becomes more about "you" and reality and not about her or you both, not much of a surprise you're getting that reaction.

@Ariel the skill your developing when going through this process is separating the gold from the gotten. In the beginning there's gonna be a lot of gold and your gonna have to spend a lot of time sorting through that. Its basically a process of 3 steps back, 3 steps forward and developing a taste for that, that is what the understanding process is, and as soon as you start getting on board with the repeating and repeating and repeating, going back, going back and going back, the more you'll surrender to it, the easier it will become.

@hinawashi You can really come at this from multiple perspectives, some are -- Confabulation, not knowing, egoistical agendas and biases. Confabulation is the theory to explain the unknown variables, throw in some egotistical agenda and some self serving biases and you're left with an illusion of clarity. Notice it starts with a confabulation. Already we've made it into something it is not, through this we explain the unknown variables (this infinite spectrum of possibilities), and in order to gauge this massive spectrum of possibilities we posit the most fundamental things we understand as human beings..Evil. Deep down we know that evil is very sneaky, very cunning, destructive and deceptive, we recognize it's really antithetical to truth. We use evil to help grasp the truth because the two are like matter and antimatter, they are very, very distinct when they come into contact with each other. We recognize that Evil directly equates to Truth, this is where conspiracies come from. What else does conspiracy mean other than selfish, evil, egoic agendas? People hold these crazy stories and theories because they understand that Evil is one of the most fundamental things keeping us from Truth, so in order to combat that we have to be open to Radically new possibilities that we never possibility could imagine, as long as it serves the self we recognize that it could possibly be true. But the Truth is NOT KNOWING and people would rather side with "knowing" and this leads to crazy beliefs and ideas that people have and helps create this illusion of clarity. a lack of critical thinking and independent thinking are definitely components, but it's also a lack of consciousness of their own self deception mechanisms and their own evils because that's how evil and the self operate. Leo's video on Mechanics of Evil is really good to check out for more details on this.

I'm really glad you wrote about this, recently I've had a big insight into what could only be described as a high yield technique, there's things I learn that I just can't put into words, when I try, there can be benefits, understandings, improvement’s in structures and concepts, but there's always seems to be 1 insight that is very, very, very difficult to put into words, because it's not really a word thing, It's more like a being thing or highly intuitive thing, and when I try to articulate it, I feel like I'm turning it into something it itself is not. Watching your videos, I’ve kind of taken on the “Leo Strategy” which has completely changed my entire outlook on life, but not recognizing that we’re at cross-purposes, and this has kind of blinded me, and the concepts and ideas you represent every week has actually turned into a distraction. A really high quality one. I see your purpose now and realize it's not my purpose, and since I don't know my purpose yet I've kind of substituted it with yours, and all things considering I’m not really surprised I fell into this trap because personally I think yours is one of the best purposes one could create. So I guess what I'm getting to is that I've kind of fledged out a lot of the content here and of course will continue to but I've definitely reached a turning point and I'm ready to move in a new direction. I’m not the kind of guy that says “Leo doesn’t know shit! Just follow your intuition!” and storms out of the room *Ehem* , but it’s true, not that he doesn’t know shit, but that he can’t know MY shit, and from now on Leo’s content will be absolutely indispensable on my OWN journey to self actualization. I’m posting this because I think others can relate, and maybe help others realize that as amazing and useful as Leo's content is, it can turn into a huge distraction. Leo himself knows this and he doesn't hide it, he's an incredibly humble guy. Thanks Leo for everything you do, you inspire me and continue to.

@DEV You can have an amazing and profound insight and not take the lesson, that change you're looking for is done through consistent, persistent habits, both the doing and undoing of your habitual nature.

I think you just saved a lot of people from a panic attack.

In your case fear is used as a technique for consciousness. The cultural assumption around fear is "it's bad", "it's negative", and even the new assumptions that it's a limited, negative, motivator. He's referring to negative motivation but that doesn't apply here considering it's the end of your life you're looking at, as though fear can't make you conscious to "play the game of love". The paradigm of fear he's referring to is the selfishness and ego. The paradigm of fear I'm referring to is a tool for consciousness, and help you wake the fuck up to what's ACTUALLY important in your life to things like love and selflessness.

Hell yes it is. I know I use it to keep me grounded. This might be your favorite video. Also I'll add contemplating death

@Yogi0 Stop looking at porno or anything related and when you're horny sit and do absolutely nothing instead and face that desire. Sit there as long as it takes. Refusing your natural desires will only delay the inevitable.

Being is the most instant thing you can have, unless you have stung, drunk monkey mind. It's the hardest state to achieve because all you've ever known is your stung, drunk monkey mind. This shift happened for me about a year ago, I'd rather be happy than have a stung, drunk monkey mind.
-
When you're being there is no infinite cycles, no concepts, no maps, no territory, no escaping, no stuckness, no paradox, no models, you're just left with what IS. You "escape" it by BEING, not positing more thoughts, questions, ideas and concepts.

@mathieu I know Leo's doing a fantastic job raising me for sure lol Leo be like

Recently for me one has been --Habitual day to day affirmation mentality + mantras + reminder strategies. Great for programming your subconscious and focusing on what's most important.

Is that you or me? I can't tell the difference

@MiracleMan Sounds like a huge trap he fell into, perhaps the entire time he spent sitting down to meditate only to find out his foundation was at fault. Going down a path for years only to find out you've been going in the wrong direction, that could be very discouraging. -
@sgn haha sweet, yeah he's trying to start a network, Love his content.
-
I watch Phillip Defranco, that's the only news I watch, 10-15 minute video just to see what's up, but I see for you there's a fear there.

The distinction is what is literally there vs what you think is there. If you go back to flattening the illusion in Leo's Illusory nature of thought video this can help you with separatting truth from appearances as close as you can, but eventually you're gonna have to go beyond that because some things literally can't be described, you'll end up just turning it into something it's not.
