  1. Warning points for pretending to be human!
  2. That's exactly why we talk about psychedelics - so you don't sabotage yourself by misunderstanding a nuanced metaphysical point.
  3. Juicing fresh vegetables isn't much cheaper (if at all) and with AG1 you get everything you need (as far as vegetables go) with minimum effort. I like it a lot (tastes great as well). I don't eat any vegetables, so I might get more out of it than you would.
  4. This is the same nonsense rationale that people were using to dismiss Schmachtenberger's spiritual development for years "hE iS tAlKiNg AbOuT cOnFiDeNcE iNtErVaLs AnD bAyEsIaN pRoBaBiLiTy."
  5. The invention of tools through recursive abstraction made humans orders of magnitudes smarter than their ancestors. If you view AI as a tool instead of your competition, the question who "wins" becomes obsolete.
  6. It's one thing to know you're on planet earth and another to actually go travel around the world and explore it for yourself. That's all that anyone is saying.
  7. Do you have a better idea? Just sitting around doing nothing will make you miserable, so why not actually get serious for once and do something interesting with your life. If you became lucid in a dream, you wouldn't sit around waiting for it to end. That would be boring as hell.
  8. Did you read Zarathustra yet?
  9. That's precisely not what chaotic means. Chaos mean a system is behaving in such a way, where no matter how much you know about the initial or current conditions, it is impossible to predict it's behavior in the future.
  10. If you want to live a "moral life," psychedelics will probably not contribute much to that. If you define the spiritual quest as the quest for truth (which I find quite reasonable as well), psychedelics will contribute a lot to that. Also, how can you be truly moral, without knowing your absolute nature? It's a charade, an act really. I can only make the same point I always make, which is to just take the best of both worlds and run with it.
  11. I knew that @Oeaohoo was secretly running a YouTube channel.
  12. Andrew Tate is an ENTJ cosplaying as an ESTP.
  13. In my estimation, Switzerland is mostly healthy blue. Cinsidering they have to deal with a lot of orange and green in culture and politics and seem to handle that quite well, I can see why one would call them yellow (which they definitely are not).
  14. I think I actually need a break from all this theorizing. This is melting my brain.
  15. The guy in the video used much more extreme language than that though. I'm also not advocating for walking around, lost in compulsive self-talk, like an idiot - of course. Transcendence can easily become pathological and run amok, if there are no checks and balances on it; and tends to get glorified by spiritual folk; so I'm just making sure we're on the same page here. Pursuing "no mind" is no different than pursuing some utopian fantasy - it's escapism (but it's also tricky, because you're escaping into the present moment, so I'm not entirely sure what to make of it).
  16. I find this extremely interesting and would love to get closer to the bottom of this, so Ill just restate my point again: I was talking about transcendence, ensoulment and development as all being irreducible constituents of the psyche. A similar typology is being, becoming, doing. Do you understand what Im saying? And then assuming you do, what do you disagree about here? Just escaping into being is quite cowardly and unoriginal, as far as Im concerned.
  17. Holding being as some kind of ultimate attainment is silly and doesnt reflect the reality and complexity of the psyche. Being "liberated" from your thoughts is no different than some Marxist utopia or Platonic realm of ideals - its a fiction your psyche constructs to cope with suffering and nihilism. Have you read too much Maslow, or what is going on here?
  18. Leo Gura is an American personal development coach and writer who is known for his work on productivity, mindfulness, and self-improvement. Here are a few inspiring quotes from Leo Gura: "The only way to do great work is to be passionate about what you do." "The only way to achieve greatness is to be willing to put in the hard work and dedication required to get there." "The only thing that stands between you and your dream is the will to try and the belief that it is actually possible." "The only way to truly achieve success is to have a clear vision of what you want and be willing to work tirelessly to make it a reality." "The only way to truly be happy is to live in the present moment and let go of the past and the future." "The only way to achieve your full potential is to be willing to take risks and embrace change." I hope these quotes from Leo Gura inspire and motivate you! Dirty absolutist! lol
