I'm getting a piece done soon but I'm not sure what I want to get. I had an idea of getting a notable saint done with the often portrayed aura of enlightenment. Any ideas? Particularly interested in the occult and anything that would bestow the wearer with properties i.e. strength, protection, grace etc. Does anyone know the meaning behind Teal Swan's tattoo's?

@pluto Yeah I think so too. Makes sense If you look at the natural progression of things. Funny as it sounds, I understand why he answers that way too. It actually convinced me of him.

There's definitely something alien about him. He looks androgynous, has a strange way of communicating and his eyes are so damn hypnotic... There really are some hidden gems out there eh...

It's no different, only you're there. Last time it happened I started laughing hysterically, realizing what had happened. Waking consciously is one of the strangest experiences I've had. I can't be bothered trying to describe it well but it feels like you're being funneled out of a void. Like a black hole. Made me wonder for a long time.

I try my best to realize something for myself but I still don't completely understand why this is so. You would think an entity, whether it's incarnate or not would bring warmth but is that because it's not actually a conscious being? A lingering emotion which continues to foster it's own presence and that emotion is necessarily coming from a void, thereby existing by drawing into itself like the vacuum of space. Just a memory manifested? Evidence of the true scope of intelligence. Like a strand of hair which has fallen off your head, no longer growing on your head but persisting until eventually, it's no more. If not fed, like any emotion. There's a lot more swirling around in my head but I'll leave it at that. Has anyone read The Magus Of Java?

Can I posit a scenario? Say, December of this year you will come into tens of thousands of dollars. You're fed up with searching for purpose, the ideal career, relationship, lifestyle, whatever. When it comes down to it, you just want consciousness and you're willing to selfishly throw everything out the door to doggedly pursue only enlightenment. It could result in terrible repercussions but you can't stand going on as you are, with the knowledge you have. You just want it to end. What would you do do? How would you go about about it? I don't wanna hear some bullsh!t pull yourself up by your bootstraps and think of your kin replies.
