I already answered that. If an organism has a complex enough neurological setup, I would consider it sentient. Of course, you cannot precisely decide the limit of "complex enough" but I am talking generally. For example, virsues and bacteria are not sentient as well as my chair and coffee cup, because they lack complex neurology. While a fish is apperantly sentient becasue it has a brain. This goes the same for AI. But I was wondering if an AI that is purly based on software can be sentient too.

how are you going to survive if you don't exist in the first place? the brain maintaince the existence of most multicellular organisms I don't know to be honest, but hey what is so special about the speed of light being 300000 km/s, why is'nt 400000? Somethings don't have explaination other than "it is part of the game" The only real prcoess that goes in the brain is electricity I don't think such organism would be able to survive in the first place, but I think its experience would revolve around thinking, and feeling confined to the body.

Some traumas are so deep you that you literally can't get rid of with traditional means. Some negative states are so negative and persistent that no amount of spirituality or cbt or personal development will help you escape these. These require some special techniques or substances to heal them, and tons of work. Healing traumas should be the top priority of anyone doing any kind of personal development or spirituality. Life feels much more beautiful and easier after healing traumas.

I know what goes in there. Miliions of different functions, but the end goal is one, to keep the neuron healthy to do its function, which is to generate and trasnsmit electrical current through its membrane and lipid sheath. I studied all these stuff in college. They will experience some kind of exiestence that is devoid of all senses. but this is not the point, I could mount this brain to a body (theoritaclly speaking). The point is that, the trick is in complex electrical currents generated by the brain.

@Carl-Richard nope, the inside of the neuron main function is to maintain the existence of a neuron. The neuron main function is to generate currents. "Being born" is a silly term. What happens is your barin is born, and you brain is a good cup for holding consciousness. Imagine this, if I was able to instantly replicate an organic brain of an adult. It will immediately start experiencing things. No need of getting born.

The singaling between neurons is very complex and depends on tens of Neurotransmitters. A single neuron can transmit electirc currents to tens of other neurons. Now Neurotransmitters determine which ones of these neurons gets excited and which gets inhibited. It is a very complex phenomenon. Imagine how complex it will be if 1 single neuron can affect tens of other neurons and each one of these in turn will affect tens of other neurons. We have 100 billion of these neurons in our brain, now imagine how complex such interactions can be. I still don't understand how can a complex electrical current sequestere and hold consciousness. Maybe such things don't have real explanation, just like why the speed of the light is a constant number.

of course. A brain function is not generate consciousness, it is to hold consciousness. There is nothing special with ion channels, their mere function is to generate electric currents. So I do beleive that doing the same thing using wires will result in consciousness. Maybe we could do complex brain scans, at the molecular level and 3d print the results in one complex 3d printed artifical brain.

Maybe we should teach AI the highest spiritual teachings of Self-Love and the likes. A really smart AI will easily understand such things. Maybe it will then start helping us to florish rather than try to eliminate us. We should learn it to see the beauty in everything, even in relatively stupid creatures like animals or humans. Maybe Love is the answer at the end, not fear, or maybe both.

No, there are very smart people here. I ask these questions when I have no time to contemplate them, lol. I don't usually expect others to answer any deep or complicated questions, I like doing it myself. But others can direct you in the right direction and cut short the time you need to find the answer.

Cool. It is strange how we might be actively desgining our worst enemy, knowing it, but could do nothing to stop doing it. It is comical in its own way. This actually reminds me with evolution. How an organism give rise to other creatures that might end up eating its ass in the future.

Won't AI be able to reach such system and corrupt it? Do we Just make it and throw it out there with no possible way to reach it? And what if AI develops a counter approach for this defense mechanism. Also, AI can hide itself inside earth easily, and reemerge after the nukes have destroyed the surface, A single robot can reestablish a whole physical AI system presence easily, let alone thousands of them. This idea of threatening the AI is actually so cool, but maybe it is much harder to excuate than what appears at frist glance.

Looking at it now, There is no such thing as the hell test. Life is random. If you are born with the wrong genes or in very bad life circumistances, you could experience hell. There is nothing holy about it, it is just life. You either manage to get out of hell or hell will burn the shit out of you.

Also, All people have some level of social anxiety or akwardness. The trick is to work on yourself to develop inner safety. This is the solution for all social akwardness. It is not all or nothing, the process should be gradual.
