Yeah, I don't like the Arab all or nothing "free Palestine" position. But I don't think Israel made any real deals regarding the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with the evidence that to this day, a lot of peaceful palestanian organisations still demand that with no use. Also, Israel kept expanding further triggering Arabs which culminated in a war in 73. If they were really into peace, they shouldn't have kept expandong further, and they still do to this day. To be honest, I am not that informed regarding the conflict so I am may have some wrong assumptions or I may lack some details but this is my take.

This is a good post, don't let it die out like this -
Just finished reading "A Million Thoughts" by Om Swami. The book is good in general but The first parts are weak sauce, it becomes better in the second part. These are the concentration meditation techniques explained by him in the book: Breath meditation: the most common one, you concentrate on your breath, inhaling and exhaling, very calming. Mantra meditation: My personal favorite. you repeat a certain mantra internally. Very enjoyable. I personally use " Thank you God" ,"Allah" or "Imagination! Formless meditation: I like this one too. you focus on The formless consciousness at the point between the eyes or at the tip of the nose. Expansion meditation: focus on making your sense of self expand and merge with your surroundings. Form meditation: This was the main type of meditation practiced by Om Swami. visually materialize a certain form while the eyes are closed. Keep the form vivid for as long as you can. Reestablish the form, whenever it fades away. Neti Neti meditation and I Am meditation: while sitting in Satsang, You engage in denying what you are not, "I am not the physical body, I am not made of atoms, I am not on earth,,,etc." and acknowledging what you are, "I am pure consciousness, I am infinite love, I am the vast universe, I am imagining everything,,,etc." mindfulness meditation: This is a meditation that you engage in all the time. It is basically being aware of what is happening in your direct experience. You notice the sounds, the colors, the objects, the feelings, the tastes,,,etc. It creates mental sharpness and a beautiful kind of peace and it makes your experiences much more concentrated and "there". Observer meditation: Be an observer, don't react in any way, positive or negative, to what arises in your experience, including thoughts, feelings and daily life events. This is practiced while engaging in life. For example, someone curses at you while passing by your car, just allow it to happen, don't react, just watch it happening. You will face two main obstacles while meditating, restlessness and dullness. The mind is restless and want to think about life, about life events, about fights, about food, about everything. On the other hand, you may lose your mental sharpness and enter a state of semi-sleep and dullness. This state offers zero benefits and you may think you are meditating but you are not.

These points are valid but one must develop a wholistic point of view not to be biased. It is very important to see stuff from the point of view of Hamas. Imagine someone who invaded your country and kicked out your people overnight. Of course, this happened a long time ago and current Israel doesn't hold responsibility for the actions of the founding fathers, but at least they must acknowledge that the establishment of Israel in that manner was a big mistake. Israelis are not able to put themselves in the shoes of Palestinians and keep insisting on the silly point, that this was their land 2000 years ago. The land belongs to the last people they had it before A peaceful world was a thing. Today If Jews invaded Palestine in the manner they did in 48, virtually nobody would support them and their claims would be very silly. Israel did everything not to make amends and work things out with Palestinians. Ironically, they kept taking people's lands and making more settlements, which led to more anger and hate among Arabs. now moving on to Hammas, I don't support them for many reasons. First of all, justifying the use of terrorist tactics and killing civilians, secondly and most importantly, they don't hold realistic expectations. Their ultimate goal is to destroy Israel, which is a thing that would never happen and shouldn't happen. I believe in a resistance group that put the establishment of an independent state as their main goal, and preventing Israel from making more settlements in its land along with asking Israel for a big financial compensation for all the harm done by them over the years.

We are neighbors. Here form Jordan. Don't use the bias card, I am not biased.

@Nivsch When you keep bombarding people for a month nonstop, such numbers are not that fantastical. Eliminating Hammas doesn't mean you can kill thousands of children without regard to Human life. Basically, Israel wants to minimize its losses, so they are very happy to keep bombarding children to death.

@PurpleTree Great answer, thanks!

Don't put Alan Watts and Terrence Mackena in the same sentence pls. -
The interesting story of a guy who turned from a religious Mormon to a depressed atheist billionaire to his current phase of obsession with immortality and reversing aging.

I have never experienced anything after it. And why would it be unsafe? removing a tooth should be more "dangerous" than a root canal and virtually nobody complains about anything after doing it. People tend to exaggerate things when they are obsessed with health.

@Lila9 Nah, he is just not familiar with spirituality and psychedelics. It is easy to misunderstand spiritual teachers and nonduality when such things are foreign to you.

@integral For me what worked is radically changing how I masturbate. I think it is all about how you ejaculate. If you ejaculate in a jerky tense way you get stmptoms, whereas if you allow the sexual energy to flow through the body and you ejaculate in a more satisfying way, you don't get stmptoms.

The premise that I cannot have fun while thinking is obnoxious -
How was it? It is supposed to be a functional stimulant right? Did you try 4 fma?

Creating concepts and deriving insights is a very fundamental aspect of the spiritual work. If you reach very high states of consciousness without generating some solid insights then your trip is near worthless. On the contrary, I started to notice that streamlined spiritual teachers have some real deficiencies when it comes to this point. Their understanding of reality is somewhat chaotic and not organized in ground rules while Leo excels in doing this. I think raising consciousness doesn't necessarily mean getting rid of the mind. It means starting to create a different kind of mind. No mind philosophy is deeply flawed. God is not no mind, God is a radically different kind of mind. -

Lol. I think You are doing a lot of absolutely ungrounded projections here. The facts say, Leo derives all his philosophies from direct experience of very radical states of consciousness. -

Could you elaborate on what self-deceptions you think Leo is engaging in? -
I have used it a lot lately. It is not dangerous per say but overusing it can generate mania or schizophrenia in some people. I have combined it with psychedelics. It makes the experience more profound but it generates lots of delusions. It makes generating insights during the trip very hard. In some way it numbs down the mind, but creates very weird experiences. for example,I was talking to my fan at the end of one trip and it was explaining to me how reality works, lol, and this is not that weird compared to other experiences I had lately. In fact, I was going to make a trip report about combining LSD and 3-meo-pce but the experience was so weird that I don't know how to explain it.

@Leo Gura @The0Self What effects did you experienced on it?
-
Do you have a meditation practice? Nothing makes you feel safe and secure than a great session of meditation.
-
Lol. I personally like The assholeness of Leo. He is just brutally honest and realistic, which is something I really appreciate.

Syrian rue is not a psychedelic. You will get some visual changes and a lot of dizziness but that's it, no insights. I tried extracting it once but I failed. But the process is fairly easy and don't require lab equipment. When You cannot get a powdered psychedelic, you go and buy some acid tabs from the DW.

A cat that we have in our house yard, became sick a day or two ago. I am certain it is Parvo virus, as I went through the same experience last year with another cat. It is all my fault for not buying vaccines for her, but again there are a lot of cats in our yard and we cannot take care of all of them. Poor cat is sitting all day alone under a tree with an empty stare, not reacting to anything. She is so weak, she can barely move. I wish I could take her to the vet, but that would cost me at least 200-300 usd, and even with treatment she might not survive. Everytime, I look at her, my heart breaks. She was very playful and active and loving. It is one thing to imagine the suffering of beings, and another to see their suffering in front of your eyes. She will most likely be dead in a day or two from dehydration. I hope she dies quick and peacefully. PS: she died. She took her last breaths before my eyes. A wheezing breath every 20 seconds. Her eyes were staring forward towards nothing. Her breaths became slower and slower until she stopped breathing. My heart was broken watching her taking her last breaths.

I think I know who you are talking about, Maybe I had a heated argument with them in the past, lol.

depending on how much seeds you use. Use a teaspoon of seeds, that wouldn't be so bad.
