  1. Yes what you described is a perfectly natural part of the exploration of consciousness. The nature of enlightenment is the subject of debate and is a matter of semantics and what we choose to believe. Some would say you had a realization, insight or an awakening, with the distinction being that enlightenment is a permanent shift or expansion in consciousness. What we call your experience matters less than how you integrate it. The primacy of love is a valuable and transformational realization.
  2. @Fluran In my experience we can and do create powerful sensory associations, especially when working with altered states of consciousness, such that something like a sound or song can cause a reactivation of that altered state. This is a well known phenomenon with 5-MeO-DMT in particular. https://youtu.be/K0rU_g7q1lc
  3. @Fluran what exactly are you skeptical of? Based on your post it's the relationship between brainwave states and the tones which claim to create those states such as seen all across YouTube. Have you heard of Hemi Sync or the Gateway Process?
  4. Ultimately yes if we go deep into this work we are required to surrender completely. That being said having precision tools and a protocol for approaching more gently is of profound importance. A full release dose for anyone, especially those without any context or experience with altered states of consciousness, can just be too much. A group I've sat with several times serves a lot of 5-MeO-DMT in a "traditional" manner (high dose single hit toad venom) and it can overwhelm people energetically leaving them ungrounded, sleepless, destabilized, confused frightened, and possibly traumatized. It is less about "control" and more about developing and implementing a protocol for maximum safety, beauty, healing, and awakening. More and more facilitators worldwide are moving to a titrated protocol using synthetic 5-MeO-DMT vape pens of varying strength. Risk mitigation and harm reduction are crucial when it comes to seriously exploring these substances, same preparation and integration. These topics just don't get as much attention because they aren't flashy.
  5. Plug and play. No choosing your atomizer or box mod, no messing with settings, no accidentally having your settings wrong and burning/massively overdosing as can happen when you have a full tank and too much power behind it. Especially with draw activated pen vapes, there's nothing to focus on other than the unfolding experience.
  6. "Also, no reason to use cartridges, they are inferior in every aspect to normal vape tanks. Their only advantage is they are cheap and as a drug dealer you can fill them and sell directly to noobs." "Take shorter tokes, spread them over longer time, or grow bigger balls. 1:12 is already a baby concentration, so you can't make it weaker on that front." @Girzo Cartridges are convenient and user friendly, people just overthink/overcomplicate things. Also one can easily make a lower concentration. Myself and many others in my circle use a 1:16, and for those that are extremely sensitive or want to wade in as slowly as possible even a 1:32 is used.
  7. We are talking about peak (peek) experiences. The shift in consciousness can reveal unimaginable truths which permanently recontextualize your way of being even while the primary effects of the substance are temporary.
  8. Across varying doses? Bioavailability is lower than rectal/nasal.
  9. @Raf salts are active sublingually as well.
  10. One can convert from salt to freebase by heating it with sodium carbonate (NOT sodium BICARBONATE) and a small amount of water.
  11. @Inder in my opinion doing psychedelics with this type of "hard goal" can be a setup for disappointment. That being said healing certainly is possible. Another intention could be to explore, perceive, understand, release, and integrate whatever experience is behind the sensation. In the meantime try this https://www.va.gov/WHOLEHEALTHLIBRARY/tools/therapeutic-journaling.asp
  12. Yes to both. Changa has advantages in that it lasts longer and it is easier to make a gradual approach. That being said you can also massively overdo it with changa and be very high for a long time due to MAO inhibition.
  13. There's a reddit post in which a user discusses using terpenes only, to great effect. I based my use on their suggestion as well as confirmation from other users. https://www.reddit.com/r/DMT/s/DwsrWsk7UL
  14. It only matters in that your vape solution would be flavored
  15. @OBElerthere almost certainly is something available domestically for you. Use German Google or whatever it is you have 😂
  16. @OBElerhttps://theterpenestore.com/product/liquify-pro/liquify-pro-diluting-solution/
  17. Propylene glycol works but is subpar. PEG-400 is better, and flavorless terpenes are best but cost much more. For me it's worth investing in the best materials.
  18. @OBEler any high quality "pen style" battery is what you want.
  19. The erowid jaguar protocol by Grace Within using high quality flavorless terpenes as the liquid carrier. Cartridges at 1:12, 1:4 , and 1:2 strength
  20. @No_Manny you'll find many such lists online, none authoritative, with varying degrees of overlap, some more accurate than others. The simple truth is that classification based on chemical structure and mechanism of action is as "real" as it gets. Everything else is semantics. Look at what Schizophrenia posted.
  21. Any mind altering substance can be potentially insight/depth inducing, even caffeine for example, so I wouldn't choose to define a whole category of substances based on that quality. All classical psychedelics aka hallucinogens can be and often are insight/depth inducing. As I said I wouldn't choose to categorize psychedelics in the ways you mentioned. Rather than trying to make the data fit a bad model, why not use/create a better model?
  22. I would not choose to categorize psychedelics this way. It is somewhat arbitrary and even misleading which can be dangerous. For example we see tobacco listed under hallucinogens while mushrooms, which can produce astonishing completely immersive hallucinations, are categorized under insight/depth inducing. There are many other issues with this particular categorization. It would be more accurate and useful to classify psychedelics based on their chemistry and mechanism(s) of action in addition to their intended/traditional use and effects. The effects of course are subjective to a degree and open to interpretation. Are these categories you created or were they stated explicitly in the podcast?
  23. Do you find those categories and their contents useful and accurate?
  24. @Inder Yoga poses such as bridge, cobra, and camel as well as basic stretching with your hands clasped behind your back are good for physically opening the chest and heart region. Heart centered breathing is useful as well. YouTube has many, find one you connect with. There are many types of heart centered meditation, metta probably being the most well known.
  25. Its almost certainly energetic in nature. Look into heart opening practices.
